Juwohn:Been hoping on this testimony, it's good to not give up. Congrats to him. |
Chukwuka16:You should have tried Kenya Airways. There was no issues on first traveller, I met few first time travellers with study permit and had no p. The crew hospitality was superb. We moved afternoon on Monday had a stopover at Nairobi. They lodged us at Weston hotel Nairobi, funny enough we got there around 2am, just when lots were about enjoying their sleep in a masterpiece king size bed they came to wake us up at 4am for our flight to jburg then later reconnect to CT this evening. The Immigration lady at ortambo just asked "so you're coming for study?" That's all. PS: I'm not advertising Kenya Airways o before some people will tag me an agent ![]()

Juwohn:The integrity is about the account statement. Since the two rejections were based on that that's definitely what the VO would be focusing mainly on. So If the statement is above 1m apply immediately then. Maybe Monday. If any sort of rejection comes after this then they never wanted to give him the permit in the first place. About the self-introductory letter adjustments, just first acknowledge you've rectify the problem of last rejection (funds). Probably attach the rejection letter as reference, well they'll get to know anyways. |
Is there any bank Mastercard working for POS and Withdrawal outside naija? Even if it has limit. |
Juwohn:Should have had atleast equivalent R50,000. Even Many Phd fully funded study still have balance of over 1m just to be safe. The last time you asked if it was 500k you said it's the balance I would've told you to make it 1m. He should apply immediately before Study permit application closes for non-Phd this year. You can make a deposit of 250k each 4times next week then withdraw 200k in between the week. Print up the statement on Friday then apply same Friday nextweek. Make sure you make necessary adjustments to introductory letter. All the best. |
I haven't change my profile pix on Facebook since 2014, last picture upload 2015. Last upload on instagram 2015 Last dp change on bbm and whatsapp Nov 2016. I don't really care about these social media, apart from chatting and passing message across, what's the use? I enjoy my privacy more than anything. The annoying thing nobody cares; they only message and hit u up because u change dp. All falacy. |
angelTI:Wow thanks, so what should we take along to the bank? Just quotation of fees and admission letter? And what's the rate of the $ for form A. |
Juwohn:Ok I've no idea the high commission confirm the present amount in the account as at when they checking not the amount it was when the statement was issued. Yes he can use the statement. All changed details should be well explained in his introductory letter. First Why he changed institution, why a new sponsor, plus all those letters of fundings attached. And don't forget sponsorship letter. When is he supposed to resume at wits? Cos this study permit is taking longer than expected these days. |
Juwohn:He should reapply immediately. In this introduction letter he should explain what happens with the statement has he paid fees and also attach all proof of payment of fees at UJ to his application submitting the same statement of account submitted at first showing the money withdrawn from the account. But how was he able to finalize online registration without uploading a certified copy of Study permit? If I may ask when did he submit the application and when did he get the response? |

Over 2000 child soldiers were recruited and used in combat by the terrorist group, Boko Haram in 2016. These statistics were provided on Tuesday by the United Nations International Children’s Fund (UNICEF), on the anniversary of the Paris commitments to end the use of children in conflict. UNICEF Executive Director, Anthony Lake, said the exact data on the number of children used in armed conflict was difficult to ascertain because of the unlawful nature of the exercise. “For instance, since 2013 an estimated 17,000 children have been recruited in South Sudan and up to 10,000 have been recruited in the Central African Republic (CAR). “Similarly, nearly 2,000 children were recruited by Boko Haram in Nigeria and neighbouring countries last year alone, and there have been nearly 1,500 cases of child recruitment in Yemen since the conflict escalated in March 2015. “We cannot give up the fight to end child recruitment,” the UNICEF chief said. Lake offered estimates that tens of thousands under the age of 18 were being used in conflicts worldwide. “It is not only about looking back at what has been accomplished; but looking forward to the work that remains to be done to support the children of war,” he said. End To Child Recruitment Adopted 10 years ago, the Paris commitments, together with the Paris Principles and Guidelines, lay out guidance for protecting children from recruitment and use by armed forces or armed groups. The Paris Agreement also assists the release of child soldiers and their reintegration, with other vulnerable children affected by armed conflict in their communities. “There has also been progress: since it was adopted, the number of countries endorsing the Paris commitments has nearly doubled from 58 countries in 2007 to 105 at present, signalling an increasing global commitment to end the use of children in conflict. “Globally, more than 65,000 children have been released from armed forces and armed groups, including 20,000 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. “Nearly 9,000 in the Central African Republic; and over 1,600 children in Chad. But more needs to be done,” the UNICEF chief said. According to him, seeking to build on the current momentum, the Paris International Ministerial Conference on the Protection of Children in Armed Conflicts has appealed for unconditional release of all children without exception, and putting an end to child recruitment. “It is also calling for increased resources to help reintegrate and educate children who have been released, and urgent action to protect internally displaced children, child refugees and migrants. “As long as children are still affected by the fighting, we cannot give up the fight for the children,” Lake added. http://www.channelstv.com/2017/02/21/unicef-boko-haram-recruited-over-2000-child-soldiers-in-2016/ Lalasticlala

Acting President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, is set to launch a three-day Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) clinic on Thursday, February 23 for viable enterprises in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital. Recall that Acting President Osinbajo commissioned the Aba MSME clinic on January 26. Aba is the commercial hub of Abia State in southeast Nigeria. The Chief Operating Officer of the Kwara State MSME Bureau, Mr Segun Soewu, who made the disclosure in a statement on Monday, informed that the event would hold at the Banquet Hall, Ilorin by 10:00AM daily. He described the clinic as an opportunity for MSME operators in the state to discuss the opportunities and challenges confronting their businesses. The MSME Bureau boss added that business owners can also make inquiries about policies and regulations regarding their businesses from the Federal agencies that would be present at the programme. He listed the agencies to include the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON), Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, Nigeria Export Promotion Council, Nigerian Export-Import Bank and National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). Others are Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Bank of Agriculture, Bank of Industry, Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO), Projects Development Institute, Raw Materials Research and Development Council, and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure. Mr Soewu asked intending participants to contact the office of the Chief Operating Officer of the Kwara State MSME Bureau at the Ministry of Commerce and Cooperatives, Gambari Road in Ilorin. As the leadership crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continues to linger, former President Goodluck Jonathan has played host to major stakeholders in the party. This time, it is the turn of the Forum of Former Ministers of the PDP to visit the former president in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. The Chairman of the forum and a former Minister of Special Duties, Mr Kabiru Turaki, briefed reporters shortly after their meeting with Dr. Jonathan. He maintained that forum will challenge the judgment of the Court of Appeal in Port Harcourt, which affirmed Senator Ali Modu Sheriff as the National Chairman of the PDP. “I am aware that an appeal has been lodged against the judgment of the Court of Appeal, Port Harcourt Division yesterday. “With the notice of that appeal, I’m also aware that an application for injunction has been filled. “So the position of the law in situations like this is that unless that application is taken and decided one way or the other that there is an interim stay and interim injunction. “And so with that therefore, the caretaker committee continues as the organ that is legally charged with propelling the affairs of this party,” he said. We Are Friends Mr Kabiru opined that the leadership crisis rocking the party was not uncommon in a democratic setting. He, however, noted that the Supreme Court was the final arbiter on all disputes and stated optimism that the party would overcome its crisis ahead of the 2019 general elections. “This is not a war; this is a simple ordinary family feud within the PDP family. “Even when we allow the court or we get to the point where the Supreme Court will have to make a pronouncement one way or the other, quite literally, we will still need each other. “We are friends, we are family, we are brothers and sisters. “So at the end of the day, even between the tongue and the teeth, there could be tense moments but it still does not mean that there will not be reconciliation between them,” the former minister said.
