Our play is basically cross and nod. I was happy when Lampard said he was going to rest Chilwell and James. We don't create through the middle anymore. Major culprits are Kante, Zouma and our FB's.
Kante's passing range is limited. He doesn't scan well enough, rarely plays line breaking passes or through balls. If you press him, he simply passes the ball to our CB's.
Zouma has similar issues . He slows down our build-up by at least 3-4 secs.

Oga Wetin consign Kante that plays DM with creating chances & through ball from the midfield. We already know Kantes game. The culprits are mainly our attacking midfielders, Mount & Kovacic kai.

Don’t be sensitive. I only mentioned you to know your stance if Kovacic should be subbed off at half time. Against Westham, I was silent till people started quoting me about Kovacic performance & I gave my opinion. Did you see how Jorginho came in and stabilize the midfield? Same thing Kovacic did with Westham.

I want the best for my team & I’ve watched Kovacic play for a long time. It’s glaring he’s not who you can rely on to win you trophies. 1 good game 3 bad ones. It’s just me not settling for mediocrity.

Kova lacks the composure to play as CM, lacks attacking instincts to play AM. As a manager where do you fit him in? not great at tackling too. Just running around aimlessly & disorganizing the team shape.

Someone that plays AM this season but his backpasses almost equal forwardpasses. No be juju be that. No wonder Madrid let him leave. Soon we’d do same.

We want to see out the game yet we brought in like for like sub why didn't he take out one of our attacker and bring in Kova or a defender.
You think we want to see out game against West ham in the 66th minute (who does that?).

I didn't tell you he contributed to the goal but since he was brought in we begin to play from the back again and retain the ball more and west ham persist with the game plan of pressing us high up and we break their press twice which lead to the goals; if Kova wasn't brought in my brother we can't break their press with jorginho as you saw in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
If jorginho was brought in and did the same today I will equally praise him for that.

We continue our 4231 when Kova was introduced he and Kante was the base of the midfield.

This is not necessary, Kova help us today so credit him for today only, I see no problem in this.

Okay I credit him for the average job today so he doesn’t repeat the Everton ft. Maybe there’s a reason Lamp bench him two games in a row now even with no injuries & after resting for a week. He can read game well from the sidelines same way Barkley.

I came across this on Twitter few hrs ago. How can Kovacic backpasses be catching up with his forward passes? Is this one of the reasons we don’t play progressive football sometimes? Just A shot on target all season & majority of time he plays AM in 433. Even mctominay plays more central. Once we have a proper DM, Kovacic will be surplus to requirements.

we were in shamble from the begining of the second half till five minutes after Kova was put on; If you are not watching the power cable of your TV you will see that West ham pressed us and didn't allow us to play from the back because of fragility of jorginho and when we send it long they beat Abraham 4/5 in the air making us lose possession of the very often but immediately Kova comes in we return to playing at the back because of his ball retention ability and it makes it possible for us to break their press twice which resulted to the two goals.

Bro you can hate him all you want but he is the game changer today.
And mind you he didn't play as AM.

Westham were chasing the game & Kovacic was obviously brought in to lockup the game at 1-0. We rely from then henceforth to see out the game & see if we can hit them on the counter.

He didn’t contribute anything to the 2 goals. Jorginho was a weak link that’s why you noticing all these. Surely a fresh leg in the midfield can absorb pressure better or Were you not here last season that Jorginho came in a game can’t rem against who & stability suddenly restored to the midfield for a while before going sore.

Same Kovacic that soon as he came in we were in shambles for over 10mins. He played as an Am but no clearcut contributions toward goals just occupying the middle. we were lucky Westham were not clear cut enough abi no be same game wey we all watch.
