Hey, Santa. Just rest . It's a gut feeling. Even you know very well that you can't prove it's not Arson. You don't seem to know the human mind and how we function differently. Just yesterday the FG released names of Terror Sponsors. Now tell me, why would these people, for years, actively involve themselves in killing fellow Nigerians? What exactly would they gain by consistently murdering people and rendering millions of others homeless? When you find answers to these, then you will find answers to why our markets get burnt down on a yearly basis.

I have this feeling that there are Nigerians who specifically cash out whenever there is a fire like this. I have this gut feeling that all these fires from Sokoto to Kaduna and down to Lagos are all well planned acts of Arson. Some people actually sit down, plan these things and carry them out for reasons best known to them. If not, how then do you explain back to back fires in big markets across the country? If you look at these fires holistically, you'd understand the point I'm trying to make.

I know some people will say, "go and report to the police". You and I know that the case will eventually get k-leg. To get maximum Justice for my child, I will sue the School Authority, alongside the teacher that did the flogging.

Government Policies has always been the reason a lot of big players refuse to invest in the Nigerian Market. How can a Government Agency wake up one day and place a ban on an industry with over a Trillion Naira investment? How Bans like this should be done in phases, if it must be done. You must have to give investors time to recoup their investment.
Government officials fail to realize that a lot goes into these industries. It's not just about the product, it is also about Human Capital that make up these industries. 5.5 million job loses will be a very big blow to any economy. That's at least 2 million households affected.
The only option left for these manufacturers is to approach an Industrial Court. Go with a strong case. Recoup money invested and save all these people from unemployment. These civil servants and politicians do not care. They have to fight.

These statements coming from this Governor has really infuriated me. What nonsense! A Governor should know exactly what to do, but no. He'd prefer to run to Abuja to vent and yarn dust. You have executive powers. Utilize it. Unilaterally crash the price of certain food items. You have food reserves in your state. What happened to releasing these food items and closely monitoring its distribution across the state? It pains me how we always "elect" clueless people into power, only to hear them talk like people with no idea why they are in power.

Give out grants and loans to businesses, manufacturers and Agro-based ventures. Place higher priority on Human Capital Development. Governance is not always about constructing roads.

How has your 2024 been so far? Different strokes for different folks right?

Apart from being an Agriculturist and a Poultry Farmer, I have flare for other things one of them being writing about real life situations. I have decided to share an issue I have found out to be very topical especially amongst our youths and eligible bachelors.

I will have you know that I have been married for 3 years and I have 2 kids. So, I feel I am qualified to discuss some issues I intend to write down. This, ofcourse, is a result of personal experience(s). It's just a template you can juxtapose with your own life situation, learn, and possibly implement. This thread is in the Romance section because I feel it's where it will reach a lot of young folks.

Getting married to a woman, in my own opinion, serves two major purposes. Firstly, it affords you the opportunity to have a companion. On the long run, life can be very boring if you have no close relative or dependant or individual you can closely and effortlessly relate with. Imagine being in your 50's or 60's with no wife or kid(s). How do you think living will taste like? Why do you think men and women alike struggle to find someone they can hitch themselves to? If they fail, they keep trying until they get it right or not. Companionship. Try being by yourself for 2 months without relating with anybody. It may sound intriguing initialy but over time, you will realize that there is need to speak to someone, no matter how brief.

Secondly, paving way for others to taste life after you are gone. Procreation. A friend of mine will always say, "if dem born you, make sure you born others". If your parents gave you a chance to see, taste and enjoy life, make sure you give others a chance to do same. When you are married, it is only right to have a kid or kids to engender your lineages or achievements.

I will be very factual in my writeup and I will spare no helping detail. As a Nigerian, once you feel that you are ready to do like your father or Fathers did, you need to be armed with a number of things. The most important thing as a man, in my opinion, you need to have before you consider getting married or settling down is a source of income. Yes. I know some of you may think that is not the first, but let me burst your bubble- it is! If you do not have a source of income, you will find life after marriage very messy, hard and unpalatable. When I say a source of income, I am not saying that you must be a Jeff Bezos or an Otedola or an Obi Cubana. No. You know the way(s) money comes into your hands. Consider making it regular before you consider getting married.

Marrieage comes with a lot of responsibilities that you may not be able to shoulder if you marry without a source of income. So, that little business you are doing, that brings in money into your account, make it work. If you, perchance, wish to marry a girl who doesn't have a visible source of income or earnings, it becomes pertinent that you must have something going on for you in terms of earnings and income. Marriage becomes much better if you settle down with a girl who also has a source of income.

EFCC will never learn. Detaining a Nigerian without charging him to court for a crime will always lead to Fundamental Human Rights cases such as this.
As for these people that like to intimidate others with arrests using the police, the day you will know that our courts work would be the day you will arrest and detain someone and then they sue you for Fundamental Human Rights Violation.

That day you go see shege for court. That day you will know that our judges can mean business when they want to. A mere case that can easily be settled out of court can cost you Millions in Damages. Be warned this year.

Buy her clothes. Jewelry. If her educational background isn't up to par, register her to get good education. You can actually turn her into your dream woman. You can't leave her and run away abroad. What would that make you? A deadbeat husband. For how long will you run? You better man up and love your wife. You made the vows didn't you? You have to live with it!

Although I have been in this situation before and currently in something similar, I won't say "SORRY" or "send your account" . There's dignity in not dishonoring oneself by begging. Death by starvation is NOT physically painful, it is however a slow process and this causes it to be psychologically torturous. If food no dey , just drink water and wait for the inevitable. Ur body probably won't survive more than 6 weeks without food but ur NOBODY "go see u finish" if u begin beg upandan. IMO I would rather starve to death than go online/offline to beg for money.

A closed mouth is a closed destiny. It's better you beg and stay alive than close your mouth and die of pride.
