As a poultry farmer, e sure me die say the direct cause of death of those birds is stampede. Yes, chickens are very, very sensitive to sudden change of sound around their environment. If your birds are located in a quiet area and all of a sudden you play loud music, they will all quickly run to one section of the farm and crowd over themselves, leading to death due to suffocation and stampede. The same thing happens when you suddenly withdraw light from your birds at night, when they are already used to light being on at night. There's bound to be mortality. |
Omoawoke:Just dey yarn rubbish. Smh |
NaijaGoBetter2:When you understand that there is a huge difference between warfare and religion, you'd understand that you just typed rubbish. |
Pepperdemisback:The man is very confused. The moment tonto started confusing people with her new found faith and Meurer started her cho cho cho on social media, I new a split was going to happen. Tonto is quite manipulative. Believe those miracle stunts at your own peril. I pity the man. He just doesn't know where his loyalty lies. |
Wahala. In whatever you do, the moment you begin to lay accusations, make sure you have concrete proof. Now this lady will have to present verifiable evidence that Umahi engaged her services to start with. She is in for a long ride if she can't do any of these. |
Samantha125:Different strokes for different folks. We all live very different lives. Some may get the opportunity to amass a lot for their kids; some may not. |
Not good at all. This election is a test for what is to come in 2027. These politicians will always come up with decrees that robs off as draconian. These are actions that creates voter apathy. |
Many Nigerians are seeking ways to get to Europe to better their lives, meanwhile, we have these nitwits who found themselves over there behaving in subhuman manner(s). Actions like these will always prevent law-abiding citizens from being able to emigrate. He thought he is in Ikorodu, where he can force all those smallies into abortion. |
Naya261:You no fit know woman finish. I will advise that you take up your MSc program. Set up things properly and then take your family. Many men have been broken because they sent a wife they thought they knew abroad, who later betrayed them and cut ties with them. Cases like this abound. Put your destiny in your own hands. |
Corporate2020:I wonder oo 😂 |
LibertyRep:El Rufai is a master strategist. This Mallam knows how to drag a perceived enemy out in the rain and he also knows how to dance dirty. The truth is that the prosecutor, being the federal government, will have to prove that what El Rufai said is true. Mallam El Rufai could just have lied on national television. This could just be a game he is playing. It's possible he didn't tap any phone line. The only problem is that the FG will have to clearly prove that the NSA's number was tapped beyond reasonable doubt, which I am very sure they can't. El Rufai no be easy push over oo. The guy knows the game he is playing by bringing that issue out to the public. |
Zonefree:Gbam!!! |
GUNITGuy:The Grandpa first called her child autistic and also referred to her as mad. What do you expect? She has to retaliate. The old man should have guarded his mouth knowing full well that Kemi can be vile Atimes. |
post=138198206:I disagree. There's something called precedence. When something of this sort happens and nothing is done in the form of punishment to the actors, it is bound to happen again. All those who physically manhandled Pedro must face the music. Since. The palace has denied sending them, they must present who sent them. Stupid moves like this must not be encouraged. |
nepapole:This definitely is not the will of God. This is pure negligence on the part of the engineers handling that construction. Now 30 people are dead. We must start taking responsibility as humans and stop pushing every damn thing to God. |
AqualinaXYZ:Mad oo 😂😂😂. The man's obsession is unbelievable. It's tilting towards psychosis. |
Hullcity:80k is quite a sum honestly. Plus the time and labour you've put in. Stealing in every form is bad. As a poultry farmer, I always advise people never to stay away from their farms for extended periods especially during these Ember months. Livestock business is serious business and must be done with all sense of commitment, including security of living, breathing assets. |
About two years ago, I made an exhaustive post about how you can start off and break even in poultry production with specific interest in commercial Broiler production. That post made it to Nairaland Front Page. Some people responded but I can't tell how many actually started the business. You know, there's a huge difference between dreams and reality. Poultry Production is a very practical endeavor. If you started the business two years ago, you would have been able to make some headway right about now. The biggest challenge of many poultry farmers in Nigeria today is probably CAPITAL. Yes, business capital. That initial start up funding is always the roadblock you'd face as a young person who decides to go into broiler production. Why? That's the big question. Why is the capital needed to start a huge problem? Nigeria, as it is today, is afflicted with the problem of inflation. The raw materials you'd need to start are so expensive, if you don't have a strong financial background, you'd definitely fizzle out in a short time. As at October, 2025, you'd need between N375,000 and N500,000 to raise 50 broilers for a period of 8 weeks. The numbers are that high and can actually sharply increase beyond that range, depending on how you are able to handle your birds. A couple of months ago, someone reached out to me via Nairaland to help him with experience-based guidance. He manages a big poultry farm. Aside funding, the next big obstacle you'd face is actually being able to manage the given number of birds you want to raise. The rigours of managing 50 broilers is nothing compared to the challenges you'd face if you had a thousand birds. The bigger the number of birds, the more pronounced the variables that can affect your business. That is where working with people who have experience comes in handy. You don't just wake up and decide to raise 1000 broilers. Even if you have the finances, which will cost approximately between N7,000,000 to N9,000,000, you still don't start that kind of project if you do not have a mentor or someone you can call on when the problems associated with broiler production starts. How good is your sales game? How do you intend to sell all that broiler? At what stage do you want to start selling them? Do you have a targeted buyer or buyers? Weeks before you actually start production, you must have put out a solid plan on how you intend to sell the birds, especially if you are raising them in large numbers. These are the critical questions you must have answers to before you kickstart. Is your business registered with the local authorities? It's always important that you register your farm with recognized Government agencies such as Corporate Affairs Commission and the others. There are a lot of opportunities that will pass you by if your business is not registered with the Government. Lastly, there is the need to keep financial records of expenditure and sales. Keep digital records of how money comes in and leaves your business. Create a corporate account with your bank and ensure you separate your business account from your personal account. Feel free to reach out to me here if you need more help. |
SpencerForbes:They gonna learn; they gonna learn the hard way 🤣🤣🤣 |
AfDapone:Seems you guys don't understand how this thing works. Those two officers will have to pay that money from their own pockets. FG ain't paying sh*t. Do the crime and do the time. They are on their own on this one. |
3rdworldwar:Dey play. They will have to pay or risk going to jail. What they will possibly do is to beg the lawyer and agree on a reduced amount. As for will they pay? They must pay. |
franugo:You'd think Benue people hit a jackpot when they elected the Reverend Father. He knows little to nothing when it comes to properly managing a State as complex as Benue State. The fact that insecurity has relentlessly bedevilled and balkanized that state, with countless cases of murder and communal clashes, shows that the Reverend Gentleman wasn't the Eldorado Benue people hoped for. |
DIVINEEVIDENCE:Even when you aggregate millions of sperm together, you still can't see it with your bare eyes. Comparing water and sperm doesn't exactly make sense since one is at macro level of existence while the other is a microscope organism. Make una try to dey use una cerebrum. |
Sperm is microscopic. You can't perceive the smell of sperm. Instead what you perceive is the odour of semen. Make una try to study una book. |
Numerouno94:You dey mind that guy? He thinks we give a bleep about his opinion. Well, WE DON'T!! |
criuze:You be learner oo. These politicians na thieves them be. Thieves! You'd be shocked that the so called N250M will never be used for anything. The Commissioner, Perm Sec and other ranking officials will pocket the whole thing and lay the blame on some unforseen technicalities. Of course their oga at the government house will get his own alert. You dey joke with our politicians? |
ARISHEM:Walahi oil dey your head. You sabi wetin dey sup! Hahaha |
PulaPower:Ah swear 😂😂😂😂 |
Sharpsharp00123:Stop talking rubbish |
press9jatv:If you must accuse, you must be ready to prove. What Afe Babalola is doing is what every right thinking human being must do. This defamation has gone beyond the local scene. It is now in the international purview. Farotimi must have to prove those allegations beyond reasonable doubt or he'll be looking at lengthy jail term. |
