“I was told that they are waiting for the Governor to arrive from his National assignment to APPROVE.

“We are keenly waiting and watching the happenings within the party that was elected freely into power by the people of Adamawa state.

“As a man that believes in internal democracy and democratic processes, I will continue to resist dictatorial tendencies and acts that are inimical to the survival of PDP In Adamawa state beyond a single term in office.

Politics / Sen Abbo: Court Grants Ex-gov Bindow’s Aide Bail In Defamation Case by thegazetteng: 9:47am On Aug 23, 2019

Justice Dimas of Yola Magistrate Court has granted a bail of N500,000 to Nurudeen Kama, former governor Bindow Umaru Jibrila's Social media aide over his alleged defamatory publication against Senator Ishaku Abbo.

Kama was arrested in Yola last week Friday by men of Department of State Services (DSS) over alleged defamation of character on his Facebook page following a formal complaint lodged against him by the senator was taken to court Monday afternoon by the Adamawa state police command.

In a suit filed at the Magistrate Court 4 in Yola, Nurudeen Kama is being accused of using derogatory words against the lawmaker on his social media handles (facebook), thereby tarnishing his image before members of the public.

Kama had written,

“Tafawa Balewa was not bisexual.

Tafawa Balewa had no records of molesting women.

“Tafawa Balewa has no HIV.

Balewa didn’t transmit HIV to any girl deliberately.
“Tafawa Balewa is not a drunk.

Tafawa Balewa does'nt take drugs.

Tafawa Balewa is not a gay.

Tafawa Balewa isnot a bootlicker.

Tafawa Balewa was not an idiot.

“Therefore, comparing Tafawa Balewa with a intimacy gadget Senator Cliff is an insult to the late prime minister and all I can Say is Allah ya isa on his behalf.”

In another post, Kama is quoted saying

“For the records, they cloned my WhatsApp to blackmail and put me on the defensive but I'm not moved even for a minute.

” Cliff and his bisexual friends should work more on redeeming his battered image decently and not by mischievous blackmail for God sake, what parts of Cliff Abbo’s “attention” do I need? To learn how to become a bisexual or how to deliberately transmit HIV to any girl that shows a sign of resistance to my other demands?

” If joining black magic for fame is what it means to be great, I rather buy an ovaprim and a broodstock from the next available fish farm and breed for a living.

“For those who believed in their lies or blackmail, I will not only excuse them but forgive them because most time we are ignorant of the extent idiots can go in order to blackmail you.”

Ruling on the oral bail application filed by his lawyer who is also the state APC legal adviser Barr. Shaknah Pwamaddi, the Judge directed the accused to produce two sureties which must include his blood relative and a traditional ruler in his community.

Speaking in an interview with Journalists, Barr. Pwamaddi expressed satisfaction with the ruling stressing that they are battle-ready to defend their client and prove his innocence.

You are entitled to your opinion, nevertheless I do not agree with most of what you wrote. I hope your account have not been hacked? Because I don't see why you should see nothing wrong in hitting a pregnant woman because it is a common offence in the society. What he did was oppressing that woman and even her husband by extension. The judiciary is the final hope of the common citizen, and when they don't make ABBOki pay for this crime, once again they've fail.

But who told you she is pregnant? That is not true, and she was never a nursing mother. Come to think of it, Why did she refuse to show up in court or make a comment on the issue?

Other things as a Nigerian I would want us to think of is why was only an 11-minute clip published whiled the writeup of the PREMIUM TIMES staff covers like a scene of more than an hour?

The team from the university led by the V.C Prof. Liman Tukur firstly paid Senator Binani a courtesy visit in solidarity of her motion seeking to upgrade the institution to a conventional university.

Politics / Adamawa: Group Uncovered A Planned Plot To Frame Senator Ishaku Abbo by thegazetteng: 3:14pm On Jul 19, 2019
The group "Senator Ishaku Abbo's vanguard" led by its leader, Godfrey V. Gabriel, said during a press briefing in Yola, Adamawa state on Thursday said that a desperate politician has hired the services of a syndicate who helped hatched a plot for an interview on national television, accusing the Senator Ishaku Abbo (SIA) of assault in order to further deepen the crisis he already is involved in.

The group has threatened to expose the identity of the Adamawa female politician from Michika, allegedly involved in a plot to blackmail Ishaku Abbo by hiring the services of a young lady with one million Naira and a sienna bus to frame Abbo for assaulting her.

Gabriel who read the press statement said For long, out of respect, they have ignored their excesses, both on social media and out of social media. Their silence has been taken for weakness, that is why they now have gone ahead to hatch a big plot to damage the reputation of the Senator.

Gabriel State:

“The Senator Ishaku Abbo Vanguard finds it compelling to expose publicly an alleged evil plot against Distinguished Senator Ishaku Abbo by a certain female politician from Michika and her Team.

“A lady from Michika LGA of Adamawa State, who is presently in Yola, is in the center of the plot. The syndicate according to her was approached by the mischievous politician and was lured and compelled to act a malicious script against SIA. She was asked to grant an interview with Channels TV, where she will allege an assault was carried on her by Senator Ishaku. An interview with Channels TV in Yola was scheduled for her on 16th July 2019 by 9:00 am but the syndicate is still too scared to go ahead with the plan. She confided in someone with a confessional statement which is recorded. An alleged sum of N1m and a Sienna Bus was promised to the lady if she go ahead with the planned interview.” Gabriel said

“As a mother, the politician shouldn’t have attempted using this vulnerable young lady for her ambition. The steps this lady is about to take will equally damage her reputation and that of her family for life. Secondly, she will face criminal charges for false testimony against someone that has no business with her. This act has further put the reputation of that frustrated female politician under question. This is unbecoming of a leader and this has shown that she can go out of her way to endanger the lives of youths as long as it will serve her interest.

“Recall that having been conversant with power since 1999, she has been finding it difficult to move on now that she is politically ousted and retired. She has gone to the point of maligning SIA before the leadership of the National Assembly.

This female politician should know that power belongs to God and He gives to whomsoever He wills. Her sponsored campaign of calumny against the young Senator Ishaku Abbo will not break him but rather make him stronger. She should cease from the sponsored attack on SIA or she will soon incur the wrath of God who is the God of justice.

“Finally, the public should now know where to channel their searchlight in all the misfortune befalling our able young Senator Ishaku Abbo. If she continues we will expose her identity and the established fact against her evil plot. ”

When asked a question to specifically mention the name of the female politician in question, Gabriel replied:

“they will certainly call her name in the public domain if she continues in her evil agenda at the cause of time.”
