Episode 1 of Gembu Vlogs, Season 2 follows an historical account of the origin of the Mambilla People in present day Taraba State, Nigeria after their migration from Central Africa around 3000 BC, eventually settling in a place called Kimi, in southern Cameroon.

After many years of habitation in Kimi, Cameroon, there was another wave of migration as a result of political and economic factors, bringing the Mambilla People to their present home, known today as the Mambilla Plateau.

This film attempts to bring to light the long history of the Mambilla ethnic group, taking into account the people's political, economic, social and cultural life.

Over the weekend, a couple of my friends and I set out to find Abuja's most amazing secret waterfall. Nothing prepared us for this Abuja Vlog adventure — we got lost a couple of times, but as they say, the adventure doesn't begin until you get lost.

Karshi Waterfall located in Karshi, a satellite town in Abuja is one of the most unique and unexplored tourist attractions in Abuja Nigeria. Tucked away in the humid jungle, Karshi Waterfall is an undisturbed natural wonder, enveloped by rocky formations and trees that make it all the more enchanting.

Even though it was really difficult to get there due to the rugged terrains, the experience was totally worth it and even more, we had the entire waterfall to ourselves.

By chance, you may have heard about Gembu or Mambilla Plateau and how it is the highest point in Nigeria or how incredibly cold it is all year round or how it shares border with Cameroon hence some Nigerians and Cameroonians are living as one in some villages or how in some culture of the region, they use palmwine to forecast the gender of a child or talking about the tea farms and animal ranches.

There's just a lot about the Mambilla Plateau region that I think people should know about and visit if they get the chance.

Gembu is a town on the Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State, Northeast Nigeria. It is among one of the highest elevated towns in the countryside sitting at an average elevation of 4,423ft above sea level. I spent a few days here enjoying the so many unique and beautiful things to see ranging from the picturesque landscapes, the thick forests, the tea farms, the local culture, the cold weather, the fresh fruits and vegetables and the best of all, the amazing people of Gembu.
