Honestly, 2019 was the year of top movies...So many good movies even got overlooked just because others were far better. The competition was really good.

1917 - 6 BAFTAs
Joker - 3 BAFTAs
Parasite - 2BAFTAs

The rest has to settle for 1 each while others like The Irishman didn't even win anything despite having 10 noms.

The competition is really tough....
