Diesel was being sold for N1200, at a time, it was N1440, it is something I buy everyday so I am sure of its pricing. Kerosene was sold for around the same price. These two should show you that all along pms ought to cost around the same price if not for the subsidy on it. What makes the price goes up is removal of subsidy and not Dangote. Yes, it can be argued that it is necessary that the pms market is deregulated if the local refining is to be encouraged.
