If conversion to CNG is easy and cheap, and the CNG is also readily available, then people won't need petrol. Even market food prices will reduce because fuel for transportation will now be cheap..

Provision of more electric vehicles (cars and motorbikes)

Things will become cheap because business and services will not rely on petrol to power their businesses and services..

So the government should do things to reduce attention and focus on petrol. By then, even if petrol sells for 5000 per litre it won't affect the masses..... Since we won't need petrol for transportation or to provide power and light...

Everything you listed up there will not work because of the greed of those in power who seek to profit from everything.

The same thing that happened to petrol will still happen to the cng if most people eventually convert abi are we not in Nigeria again?

crude that is bought from the Nigerian gov and paid in Naira by a Nigerian refinery, and thereafter sold back in Nigeria in Naira certainly wont be impacted by global market forces.

The last point you made is very valid. These guys are lying and have always lied to Nigerians over the years. Just imagine after all these years we still have issues with our fuel supplies despite an abundance of crude deposits.
