tonychristopher: In the past years the state of the Black person globally has become paramount on my mind. I have observed that wherever Black people are, whether it is Australia – among the Aborigines, Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean, or North America, we seem to belong at the bottom of the pile,or the bottom of the pyramid, economically, socially, physically, mentally, etc. It makes one ask several questions:*.What is responsible for these 2,000 years of “Black backwardness”?*.Why do we seem to fail even where we arein the majority?*.Is the Black man victimized; and is he a victim of his own circumstances, pathologies, or of other people’s opinions and decisions?*.Have Blacks always been this way?*.Are we descended from “Kunta Kinteh” or from kings?*.If Blacks are not cursed, what did they do to deserve almost 2,000 years of oppression, lack, etc?*.What is responsible for Africa being the richest continent and yet inhabited by the poorest people?*.If Black means only one sixteenth of skin, why are Blacks un-able to overcome the “victimitis” or pressure that comes with it?*.Is there a conspiracy to keep Blacks at thebottom?*.Why do Black nations constitute the biggest borrower nations?*.If Blacks are not cursed, is their land cursed?*.Africans are religious by nature, and where they have become Christians they have been committed. Why are they still not making progress?*.Why is there such a gap between White dominated and Black dominated nations?*.What are the pathologies responsible for the state of Blacks in different settings?*.Can there be healing to the atrocities committed against Blacks in the past?*.Some African nations have the highest number of educated citizens, yet Africa in modern times has not contributed significantly to discoveries or inventions.*.What is the future of the Black person?*.If there is a future, what is the key to that future?*.When will the Black man’s day of manifestation come?Hello, you copied Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo's book, "What is wrong with being black?" verbatim and you failed to acknowledge him in your post? You are asking what is wrong with being black, meanwhile you're appropriating someone's work as yours? Seun , Mukina2 , Obinoscopy , this is plagiarism and shouldn't be encouraged.

Actually, that's not the regular dressing; the picture shows them in their national costumes. The Best National Costume award (BNC) was worn by Miss Holland. In the picture below, are some of the same contestants in what could pass as today's dressing, nothing much changed.

Networking, unexpected drop-ins, incessant phone calls, pesky get-togethers … many of us just aren’t cut out for so much social stimulation. If you’re an introvert, you will understand how important it is to live in an environment in which you can thrive in. I like to think of the introvert as a prickly, desert-hardy cactus, which can self-sufficiently survive in solitary landscapes. But put the cactus in the middle of a bustling city, or in a chaotic office, and it will be over-watered, over-stimulated, and underdeveloped. As introverts, we aint no sunflowers, wallflowers perhaps, but definitely not sunflowers. If we can’t find the space to live happily and freely … well then what? As they say, when the going gets tough, the tough get … going, and the final option at the end of the day may well be going some place else. So if you’ve ever considered emigrating to another country, a much quieter country, this article will be of use to you. The following list of introvert-friendly countries is by no means definitive, and was compiled through research undertaken on a variety of forums and websites. Every country has a mixture of introverts, ambiverts, and extroverts, so it’s unlikely that you’ll ever find an “introvert paradise” with 100% of the population introverted. That’s just unrealistic. You will however, find different cultures, customs and norms in each of the following countries that are perhaps better suited to the quiet, reserved person. The following list is ordered alphabetically, and provides useful information on each introvert-friendly country for your disposal. Enjoy! 1) Austria Population: 8,414,638 (2011 Census). Official Language: German. Capital: Vienna. Cool Attractions: Melk Abbey, Vienna State Opera, Hohensalzburg Castle, Hefburg Imperial Palace, Innsbruck, Altstadt, Schonbrum Palace.
