Properties / Re: Tips To Reduce Building Costs by TheMasterpiece(m): 2:45pm On Dec 07, 2014
mercylicious:
grin
This is my first topic on properties section. I want us to contribute on tips to reduce your building cost. I will start with mine.
1. Do your soakaway when you are doing your foundation. Use sand from soakaway to cover the foundation. You can then buy sand to fill up the foundation if you need more sand , then do ur german floor. This will reduce the cost of sand to fill up your foundation.

2.If you are building on a rocky terain like me, sure, the cost is higher. But you can reduce the cost by using the rocks in your house. I dont kow how to explqin this but my ppl call it cracking the stones. Gather the big stones you got while digging ur foundation, call the ppl dt crack stones to crack it for you and use it to build your house. I still have left over from the stone i cracked on my site... Will be using it for the mqin building.

3.Do the roof carcass and ceiling together. if you do ur roof wood works, and later call pl again do he ceiling, the total cost will be higher.

4.For some ppl, the first thing they do in any land they intend to build is sinking borehole or.any oer water source.. The argument is dt since they will later sink borehole, why not sink it first so dt u will cut down on the cost of water during building.

Plz add more.

From the image you've projected on here, I think you're a healthy (not patronizing you) 5 w 4, not 6.
Excellent! The Iconoclast That too, was what I thought. I have to let it out now, since he doesn't mind grin So, Apatheist, 5w4 _solely from your image here. Why didn't you like your other result? If you answered truthfully to the questions, can we rightfully conclude that the image you project here is different from you? grin Well, few people get their true results from just a first test (it's same with other type-indicator tests). You should repeat the tests at a later time & with different sites, you'll see a consistency.

Oops @TheMasterpiece.
There was a huge typo.

I meant to say, I try NOT to push my opinion of people on them, no matter what.
Yeah, I guessed _from the sentence that followed after it.

I don't like being stripped too, especially in a negative light.
But It can be quite fascinating if a person does that to me with good motives, not in a bid to put me down.
I just wanted to be sure he had the right representation/results.
That's because, the link he posted directed me to a page that is soooo not him, so I asked him to post a screenshot, to satify my curiousity.
We later go to find out that the link had issues.
It kept displaying only one type of result.
Okay, I get.

LoL
I understand your concerns.

You prolly didn't read the thread from the genesis to get a grasp of what might have inspired that.
It's okay.

I actually have two reasons for creating the thread.

1. To add to our knowledge....I enjoy sharing new and interesting things I've learned/learning.
2. To help us on our path to self discovery.

I try to push my opinion of people on them, no matter what.
I actually went that far with Apatheist because He's someone I consider lipsrsealed and I'd subconsciously thought he considered me lipsrsealed too grin
Alright, I think I get it now. That is to say you wouldn't go that far with someone you don't "consider"? It isn't advisable to, as no one likes to be stripped psychologically bare in public. Thanks for creating the thread, it's a subject I'm interested in, I read every page of it.

My bad. embarassed

I got type 5 w 6 : The Loyal Skeptic.
"The Loyal Skeptic" is type 6, not 5. Terms used to describe a type 5w6 are, The Investigator, The Scientist, The Observer & The Problem Solver.

MizMyColi: Uhn Uhn
@Screenshot, that's not you.
MizMyColi: Nothing Specific.
But when I see it?
I'll know.
Hehehe... You might be misapplying it, though. You do people a disservice when you analyse them this way, especially in public. Some could get offended & reel out a thousand reasons for how you don't know them as much as they know themselves. But I like that you've refrained from telling what you think might be his type, that's good.

With the counterfeit lifestyles rampant on Nairaland (& the internet generally), people are most likely to respond to personality tests by choosing traits they deem most desirable or more socially acceptable -- people who are taking the tests for the first time, that is.

There's something about prints that you just can't get with digital & audio formats: the smell, the smell of books! Believe me, it's one of life's great sensory pleasures. Oh, good ol' print! I'll miss your smell when you're gone.
