Hello guys, i attempted submitting a name to squadhelp but they told me it has been submitted by another member. I closed the tab and went to check out other names, upon coming back I saw that I've reached my limit and that the name they claimed was submitted by another member is currently under my own pending review. Should I be worried?

You shouldnt, Its a 50-50 thing. I think its a system glitch.

I have experienced it severally times. There was a time for me, such names always get rejected & other times, it gets approved

Hence the 50-50 statement. If I have more names to submit, I usually delist those with such messages to give room for others.

The time had actually worsened. its slower these days. Maybe tose two names have been rejected previously. So it was auto rejected hence the fast review. it happens sometimes

Please, why submitting unregistered names on SH, do you used to fill those forms, the description and giving details about the domain?

The description does not really play a role in acceptance except in cases where the meaning is not easily known

2.Did you unlock the domain before sending the auth code

3.Go to whoisdotcom/whois, type in the name

what does the status show? Ok or client transfer prohibited

For those asking for apprasial, know this

There is detailed analysis/search & there is top of the head.

Top of my head is looking at the name & running it through my head against some checklist like word placement, length, extension, meaning & how the name sounds.

Based on this I can pass or fail a name.

Detailed search is to see if the keyword is selling, check past sales, in what position did the keyword sell, as first or last word, comparable domains sold, no of TLD registered in, Wayback records, Dates of previous registration.

A detailed search can pass a previously failed appraisal based on top of the head & vice versa


So you see apprasial is work, someone sent me close to 40names to appraise on whatsapp! Even 5 is work

Just have this at the back of your mind when asking for apprasial. Its not a light switch you flip or crystal ball you gaze into. Na work

Estibot values it at $1300, name worth - $1750, epik appraisal - $1300, and free valuator - $2149 or thereabout.

I don't take appraisal serious but they kind of guide me in setting my price.

Please what do you think of the name and price. Patiently waiting for your response, and yes congrats on your SH sale.

I dont like appraising names for folks, there is a reason why

1. I dont see a company using this name

2. Headmic is parked at sedo, registered since 2010

This does not mean the name will not or cannot sell, its not ticking all the boxes for me

I cant tell you what to price it at. A detailed search on the name has to be performed. to determine the right pricing. Top of my head says $500

I just got into domaining some months ago
I still have one name though because even if 8$ is small, it's still quite an amount for me a student. But when I make more money I'll try and get more premium names.

Squadhelp will not accept this name as premuim, excerpt you list it as basic plus

Your priority shouldnt be to get more premium names but to get knowledge.

It is the knowledge that will guide you to know what a premium name is and which one to get

Your name is an EMD kinda off, its not a brandable, its not premium and its not a name a company will build on or brand with.

It will mostly like be used as a blog. It doesnt mean it wont sell. List it on Dan, Epik and Afternic. Time will tell

I saw your comment in the other thread, You have to be very patient. All those reporting sales have a large number in their portfolio that has not sold. That someone reported he sold a name, that was 1week old or hours old, he has lots of names that is 10months or 2years old that is yet to sell.

It appears you are in a haste, this is not good because it will push you to make mistakes and register bad names.

This thread is dull these past few days because of the sluggish action of Squadhelp in reviewing names. The aim of this thread is to provide guidance on how to build your portfolio in squadhelp without investment and how to exploit Expireddomains to our advantage in building your portfolio.

As you can see, Squadhelp is dulling the movement unlike last months when they are throwing names back to us and accepting the ones they dimmed fit for their marketplace. Exploring Expireddomain names won't be an advantage due to this sluggishness. How can your names be on pending for over 2 weeks now and the support are responding like robots, like " the names are in que, it'll get to your turn".

So my advice is to Keep studying the market, dive deeper into brandables as we wait for our boss to always update us whenever he's available to do that and pray squadhelp will update another pattern of reviewing names that'll be faster.

If your objective is to take advantage of SH registering your names, you can wait


if its to register it yourself, you dont have to wait. you can register & list on Afternic. But you have to be truthful to yourself that your skills have improved else you will register lots of rubbish names

If your paypal is lesotho & those other countries you opened cheaply i wont advice you use it since it can be blocked at anytime but if its the more expensive ones opened by trusted folks or you are using someones account based abroad, then go for paypal

I use Payoneer, all you need is ID for verification

I have about 21names I havent classified or described. Its difficult to come up with description of some names

Honestly I'm still trying to grasp the marketplace. The fact is they are not consistent. Last month i had 29accepted, Last 2weeks i had 12 accepted, last week 7, and dis week ZERO, u can see their inconsistency. If it's about mastering, i believe i should be improving rather than decreasing. But they are not consistent.

Nonetheless, all i can say is study their keywords, and focus on 2compound words, if at all u want to see acceptance. Forget madeUp and blend

The issue we dont have the metrics SH uses to vet their names. No platform will reveal that.

The platform does not follow conventional branding nomenclature. There are names that makes absolute no sense to me but i see them get sold.

Virtually all forums you will be advised to go to has become a mountain of information. so you must read.

If you want a one bus stop of knowledge, you should be ready to pay for it, this hastens your learning curve and even at that you must still read.
