Please to all those reading this news. The dam was contracted in 2008 but work started in 2010. The Goodluck administration saw to the completion of the dam in 2013 and was commissioned. The airstrip is also included. As of 2014, the Power Generating component was added to the dam to generate 40MW of electricity which is to be injected into the National Grid at the Yandev (Benue State) substation. The First phase of the Contract has been concluded which saw the transmission on the 132KV line and the 33KV/11kv to Takum, Wukari, Donga, and Rafin - Kada (Taraba State) and finally Yandev (Benue State). Phase 2 is for community electrification. Please the dam had been commissioned and it was not built by the APC government but by the PDP. Please let us be guided. Currently, the airstrip is in the process of being upgraded from an Airstrip to an International Standard airport with modern facilities and international Aviation approval and it is privately sponsored with no Political undertone.

well I can boldly say as an akwaibomite less than 26% of village roads linking major roads are yet to be done. My village inclusive.

As long as we adhere to the law we should also consider the health status of every individual. What if the child in the womb on examination is ectopic (the pregnancy is an ectopic pregnancy), or keeping the pregnancy can compromise the mother's health, or the child will possibly be born with defects and will be a huge burden to the family. Is it not medically wise to end the pregnancy? thereby saving the mother's life and reducing the stress the family will have due to raising a child with a disability?, Our criminal Code or constitution should not be drafted by people who are sentimental but rather professionals. Just the same that we had where patients with Gunshot wounds were not treated until they brought police reports and also people involved in accidents. Let us have a relook at our criminal code.
