Sweden is even better, Norway is worst.

Norway is number 1 in emasculating men, it’s so bad there that even their own men run away from their women. Swedish women are even better.in Norway there are so many lonely women depressed.Being a black woman there is torture,to find a man is almost impossible except she is lucky to find a white old man,that was once married and already has grown up kids some even as old as his black wife,which rarely happens or a black man that wants her for his papers that’s if she has her own things in place, In the US it’s almost the same too,so many lonely women that as a man depending on the city you live in,you can decide to go on a date and bleep women everyday of the week if you so desire,I’m talking cities like New York,Atl,DC,LA.. hence why so many men just prefer that lifestyle than to settle down with one woman.The ratio of men to women in these cities is like 1:6 if not more, Take a look at the cases of men cheating on their wives in the US,even pastors are not absolved of it.The options are limitless for men as long as you know how to play your card well!

In general, my experience has been that in Europe, it's not as popular to find the sort of community you see in many parts of Nigeria where people know the names of everyone on their streets and you visit people without calling ahead.

That being said, I don't believe it affects ladies any differently from the guys. Reading through the thread in general, some people are trying to claim a cultural superiority in Nigeria because the culture in Europe generally does not subjugate women. So, of course, if you physically threatened or hit your wife, you have to leave the house for a while, or the system acknowledges that a spouse is typically the backbone supporting a person's financial success and therefore, the wealth is divided if they split. I can see how that threatens our general beliefs in Nigeria and I think people are just clinging to the perceived superiority of the general Nigerian culture.

Most if not all the countries in Europe the UK inclusive, have laws or have enacted laws that favor women more than men,the Nordic countries like Sweden,Norway,Denmark are number one when it comes to laws that favor women,( it is the reverse of the African male mentality) as a man if you try anything stupid,the books will be thrown at you,worst of all if you are a black man,you are done.Men in that part of the world have to be carefull how they operate with women,that’s why there are so many women that are lonely. Some will even be bold enough to tell you to your face how lonely they are and need companionship.the problem there are the laws,You can’t eat your cake and have it! You can’t make laws that emasculate men and expect to have men at your beck and call! And life is supposed to go on like you wish,it’s not possible,something has to give!Same goes for the laws in the US,it’s the same,the women empowerment movement is strong as well here in the US,not to mention the me too movement now,if you as a African man bring your male chauvinism mentality and try to show your African male mentality over your wife,the laws will remind you where you are. That’s why you see the incessant cases of men esp Nigerian men shooting their wives they brought from Nigeria and some committing suicide after such heinous acts,the men can’t stand to bear the thought of not being in control as they used to back home.The State of Texas among other US cities has a long and peculiar history of such heinous cases. As a man before you leave Nigeria better forget that patriarchy mentality where the African society favors you as a man! where the man bosses over the woman,it doesn’t work here,the laws here will bring you down to earth in a hard way.Some men never recover from it. Ask the people that are honest to tell you their truth.

don’t mind her,yes lots of women are lonely not only in Europe but even in the US,the laws that have emasculated the men have made men just stay away from them from fear of many things,these days with the me too movement,no man wants to be labeled as a rapist just for making an effort to approach a woman then all of a sudden she could judge your approach as being too aggressive and then you are implicated .Most men just live their lives and bleep whoever they can and keep it moving.That is not to say men are not lonely too but the ratio compared to women is insane,men have more options

For most of the people saying what the OP mentioned is not true,you have no idea what women go through abroad,it is better to be a man abroad than a woman,lots and lots of women abroad are lonely,only a few will be honest enough to tell you their truth,it’s even worse for black women because the competition they face to get any man,they compete with white women,Latino women,exotic Asian women and so on,the competition is endless,yes the laws favor women both in the US and Europe but at the same time those same laws have emasculated the men to the point where most men even white men prefer to be single with kids or travel to Thailand and bring a Thai,Philippine woman back to his home,than to marry a woman from his own country,the cases are endless.And I’m talking both in the US and Europe. That is not to say a black women don’t marry white men as well,but the ratio compared to white women marrying black men are more,Infact some of these white men travel to Africa’ to bring black women and start treating them like slaves knowing she wants her papers and until she gets it,he makes her life a living hell that’s if she even gets her papers,but because of the laws that favor women more than men,she can use his maltreatment as an excuse to sort herself out or she knows the right channel to follow, the same cannot be said of men that have been maltreated by white women,the law don’t care what happens to the man,Infact if she kicks him out of their co-owned house even if it’s the last hour before he gets his papers,the police and authorities don’t care he has to return back to his country. Worst of all if he is a black man! He is finished.No one will listen to his side of the story.ask the ones that are honest enough to tell you their truth.
