1. you say you were never in a relationship with fl gators. However, did you know she was falling for you and may have assumed the friendship would lead somewhere?

2. quite obviously there are a lot of shadows involved in this- people behind the scenes that is. That's why it's so hard getting the full picture. What was nethacker's opinion about this situation? Sistawoman's?

3. i dont consider the UCLA thing important, since platinumk obviously knew you werent there. Fl gators, however, did not. Now, do you think you led her [fl gators] on?

4. about the money- i'm just learning platinumk paid for more than the UPS shipment. Now, i know its hard to stop a woman when she wants to spend money on her love interest (i dont want to say boyfriend), and for that reason alone, i wont comment on that yet. I had a friend who insisted on giving her boyfriend lots of money even though he didnt ask for any. My question here is- do you think you can apologize to platinumk for the whole situation. Gabry has already taken you to task over the money and others offered to repay it on your behalf, if platinumk wants that.( personally i dont think it will solve anything but everybody's at an impasse here)

5. apologizing to platinumk doesnt mean i'm saying you two should get back together. But something you should note is its not everybody who can do certain things and get away with it. There are men who two time women over and over again and still do fine, while there are others who do that and suffer as a result. From the way this all turned out, i strongly suspect you're not one of the ones who can handle more than one woman at a time. Something will definitely backfire sooner or later. Of course i could be wrong oh.

but as much as possible, dont let platinumk hold a grudge against you.

Let's leave Gators out of this. Period! I don't know nethacker's or sistawoman's opinion on this. I have stated the role both played and that was it. I don't know about the repayment of the UPS bills then because first off, she asked me not to contact her anymore and then she came on here to say all what she wanted. If I have to apologize, I will do that in public not in private. And I've not seen a reason for me to apologize. If I should apologize because I recorded calls, then I'm sorry I can't because people who are important to me, I tape their calls probably to hear them speak when I can't seem to hear them and all of that emotional attachment and the likes. No ill was intended with the call recordings.

''I was introduced to him in Aug, and he requested that he needed help getting bank statements to the school he wanted to attend in Baton  Rouge, LA. Being nice, and sensing no ill will, I agreed and I was emailed six pages of a bank statement with the balance being appox 70,000 dollars.

The bank is under Zenith Bank Plc, Plot 84, Ajose Adeogun Street, P.O Box  75315
Name on the Account on the files I was sent : Jacob Okpanwu Ezekiel
                                                                                             5, Onilewura Street, Oke-odo, Osogbo, Osun State.

Also in those documents was a name change paper from the Customary Court of Osun State, in the Olorunda Grade Customary Court 5 Holden at Igbona, Osogbo.
The statement changed his name from Jacob Prince S. to Prince Victor Jacob- Okpanwu


Now then I didn’t realize anything was wrong, we had previously discussed  his name changing , so I expected it.
I then turned the I-20 to Baton Rouge Community   College, In Baton Rouge , LA.
The school issued him an I20 based on the documents and then Jeffery Okpanwu sent me an email with UPS label to send the documents to him.
Jeffery told me that he paid for the UPS shipment and that all I needed to do was to print the shipping label and send the documents. Which I did.

Now what exposed him was two weeks ago, UPS brought a letter to my office. The letter was a bill for the shipment that Jeffery was supposed to pay for.  On the bill my name was listed as the account holder and that the shipment would be billed to me. I spoke to Jeffery and he insisted that there was a mistake somewhere. But I began doing investigations on my own, and I contacted some colleagues at GTBank  to do a research on the account with other banks. I received news that the bank account is fraudulent, and that the name change was to cover for whose account information he stole and there are two men that have been working on this fraud''.

Point of correction, I'm not into fraudulent acts. I asked nethacker to prepare the bank documents because I needed to submit them along with the application. The UPS bills were billed to an account--or at least was supposed to be billed to an account given there may have been an administrative error somewhere from UPS and that could never have been my fault. I will attach a screenshot now.

Did I request help to get bank statements from her? No. Honestly, I'm amazed at how far she's gone saying these spurious things. Let me tell you something. She offered to even use her dad's bank statements and tax papers for me and I refused (you can look up the "General Students USA visa" thread on Travels Section for her question in this regards. I was her contextual 'cousin' she referred to). We later came to find out that it wasn't going to fly with the US embassy. . .but even before that, I refused to accept that offer and I went on to tell her I didn't want her having a problem with her dad or whatnot because I believed the US embassy could call her dad and things would go awfully wrong. So where did I request her help to get me bank statements?

It wasn't a dangerous dishonesty but dishonesty is what it is, dangerous or not. She doesn't know my real identity but I'm not a criminal even. As to what I stood to gain in the relationship, I wanted to push the relationship a little further. I was serious with her and I loved her, that's all I can say.

There was really no argument about it. I didn't hear from her for about a few hours then I called her to find out if she's ok and I got to her voice machine. She sent me a message later that she had been busy that day and that she was going to talk to me much later online and even ended it with, "I love you". Shockingly, we spoke online a few hours later that same day and she said "I just want you to know why I won't be talking to you anymore" and all of that stuff. She said I should never contact her again and I kept to my lane.

She knew I was in Nigeria the whole time and I never lied to her about it from the first day even before I knew I was going to date her. In all fairness, she asked me once why I tell people I live in the States and I told her that I just felt like saying so and that I owed no one an explanation as to what my location was. No further word was said on that.

Yes, we did talk on the phone a lot of times and I still have taped recordings of the about 75% of the phone calls. The relationship lasted for 4 months, I suppose.

If there was any peace to make, it would have been wonderful. But it's a great opinion anyways, thank you. Sadly, there's no peace left to make and I'm not up for any peace as of yet. Under the right circumstances, I will give refunding the money a great consideration. No one seems to be able to answer the question in regards to what happens to the reports she made.

What is TS's deal with UCLA??

Question A: By word of the mouth. I can say I've seen heaven in my dreams when it is hell that I see everyday: word of the mouth.

Question 1: Sistawoman was the one that got me introduced to Plat. I met both of them on Nairaland.

Question 2: What led to the problem have been explained earlier, you might want to look that up.

Question 3: I was never in UCLA. But before you ask me why I told people I was there, I will tell you. I did because I wanted to, because I felt like it. But did I swindle anyone with that fact? If there's anyone with claim or even proof that I tried to or did, I dare them to say it here.

Question 4: I never intended to scam Plat, and I never scammed her. Never!

Question 5: I never had financial dealings with 190.

Question 6: Whitelexi and Ujujoan aren't relevant to this case. Truthfully, they had nothing to do with the relationship before or after. If anyone was making an assumption I will understand perfectly. I state confidently that no interference occurred from these people in this course of the relationship.

She insisted. She wanted the test to be taken in August and I agreed. It was simple nothing more to it. The fee was $175. The application fee for the school was $75 in total or so, but I don't remember.

No, I haven't paid. Honestly, you think I was going to pay her when she reliably, in her own convenience, called me a scammer, tagged my 'documents' all over everywhere and even reported my 'names' to authorities? I'd rather buy recharge cards worth of that money and paste it on here for NLanders to load their phones; but, that's not to say I won't change my mind. I just may decide to pay her back. . .but what about the reports she's made?? Just asking.

I always liked Fl Gators, always will. If she hates me, well, it's her decision and I can't question it. I, as a matter of fact, intended to return the money but with the allegations she's been and still making against me, I think she derives her satisfaction there more than getting her money paid back. Again, if she believes I'm a scammer and wants everyone to do same, isn't it a little absurd that she expects a scammer to pay her money back? Or let's just say she hasn't said that by herself but her self-appointed mouthpiece, Gabry, has been requesting that at least. When we solve this whole scam issue, we will get back to whether or not I will pay her back. Will the repayment cover for the damage she's done to the name (let's just assume she did any damage)?

I do not know who my fans her or who aren't. The issue of what I said or didn't about Fl Gators to Plat isn't consequential at this point. I don't see how that relates with the damaging claims Plat made against me. How is that supposed to relate to being called a scammer? Let's solve this scam issue, that's what I'm here for.

The help I got from her were two. First was the TOEFL test fee she paid and that was for $175. The second was the application fees she paid to the colleges. In as much as I appreciated the TOEFL test fee, I didn't feel comfortable with it at first and I made this known to her by text message--and I think by email too but I'm not certain. She told me she didn't feel comfortable with it as well but that she was going to give me a benefit of doubt. I told her then that I was going to send her the test fee to pay, and that I could only do that by September because I wanted to take the test in September but she insisted I took the test in August and as such she was going to pay for it and I will refund her at my convenience. I agreed to accept, after all, we were in a relationship and it might just not be proper if I refused to accept it since the intention was to speed up the whole process for me to have all that were required to submit the application for college admission.  She did the same with the college admission. Besides those two, there were no other offered help.

I don't know if she was detaching at that time; I can't tell how or what she felt. I didn't have any nairaland lady in my life then and not even now.

Apparently, yes, the relationship was never meant to be. She said at one time on a particular thread (not on our case but someone else's) and a I quote: "Every key might fit into a door but not every key that fits in opens it,"  So as it stood at that time, I fitted in her door but I wasn't meant to open it. I don't regret ever having a relationship with her because like I said earlier, she was wonderful at that time, really she was.

Depending on the help you're referring to. She offered most of the helps, I don't vividly recall asking for any help. But as I said, you'll need to state the supposed help I requested then I can answer your question more accurately.

The relationship was rocky at some point. The emotional draining was getting high and I found myself continually detaching away from the relationship. But, I can't deny that I felt good with the relationship from the start. . .some things are just not meant to be and one way or the other if they happen, they have to discontinue. This case wasn't an exception. I must reiterate, however, that she was a great girl at least up until the time everything went sour.

She made her points already. There's nothing left for her to say. After I've made my comments, she can come and dispute them later (provided she can).

The relationship ended on December 12, 2009 to be precise. But emotionally it had ended before then, if that counts for anything. The reason it ended was because she said she's convinced I'm a scammer. She mentioned just the fake bank documents as her main reason and the UPS bills as what spearheaded her suspicion that I am a scammer.

If you ask for my opinion, I think the interview should be on a new thread. Missy B will be asking the questions and I answer them while everyone else stays away until she's done. After she's done with it (or I choose to stop for whatever reason), then people can start their criticisms and comments on that same thread.
