They have all been doctored.

There's a clear difference between a credit card and a prepaid card. Obviously, I saw a website posted on a thread in business section where someone said he could get people a prepaid card for easy online payments and stuff. I followed the websites and saw a few ones. I applied at one because I wanted to see if the application was going to go through without any hitch. Definitely, a social security number was requested and I understand perfectly that every financial services company will verify the authenticity of any social security filed in an application, and it must correspond with the name and date of birth on official records. What I did was just a basic trial and error---more like, "let's just see, you never know" but with no hope of having a card.

I state again, it's NOT a credit card. It was a prepaid card which had nothing to do with monthly charges or whatnot. In fact, it doesn't have anything like a billing address. It might interest you to know that some of these cards are even sold in Wal-Mart and other stores just as gift cards are sold. I didn't see it as important because I never expected the card application to be approved anyway; and if she ever got anything about that card, it's definitely a denial letter--that is if she got anything at all about it.

No problem. I've not taken an offense at all. As for apologizing to Plat, I'm sorry that's not happening. I just need to come up with the username and password to log on to ups and see the history of all the shipments made on that account and for everyone to see the account number for themselves. After I have done that, I may as well not bother about the ID at all. I just need to make it clear to people that the account number existed, that the shipments were billed to that account and that there was a discrepancy somewhere.

@All. . . I saw that 190 posted on a thread that he's looking for someone who has grandfather clocks. He said each clock was going to be paid for, and also stressed that he had the link. Actually, I saw the thread a bit later after he posted it which was many weeks after, I think. I have talked with 190 on YIM quite a few times. One day, I asked him if he still had the links, in fact, I left him a message on YIM. He got back to me that he was going to call someone and find out about it then get back to me.

A few days later I didn't hear from him and I messaged him again to ask if he knew how much each clock would be worth. He told me he didn't know because the clocks would have to be tested and the appropriate price will be put on it after which negotiated would start. I told him to find out about the link and let me know. He asked me a few times if I was sure I had the clocks, I told him to do his findings and let me know. Later, he came back to tell me that the link wasn't cool anymore and we forgot about the discussion.

I NEVER asked 190 for money. I never gave him any information to send any money to anyone. I never connived with him to scam anyone and never talked about it.  This is so shocking and I can't say I am disappointed but I'm thankful this came to light.

Those screenshots simply depicts where the bills for the shipments was charged on. If UPS had charged it on that account and still send Plat another pile of bills, then I couldn't have had anything to do with it because UPS billings, I believe, is final and can't be changed once finalized. Which brings to attention what went wrong and where it did. My belief is UPS should be blamed for it. But amazingly, Plat said she called UPS and they told her the account didn't exist. Then just how were these shipments made without an account and what account was that on the screenshots?

If you notice, all the tracking numbers are preceded with the account number besides the first two characters, 1Z.
