#You don't find partying as the only way to refresh yourself. You sometimes prefer sitting quietly alone or with your friend in some peaceful place amidst scenic beauty.

#You don't seek revenge from everyone who was rude to you. Instead you ignore or understand the situation of that person.

#You don't stand in the crowd discussing "nothing can change" instead you show them "you can be the change".

#You don't expect your dear ones to surprise you with something special. Instead you plan ways to tell them how special they are to you.

#You don't have to be told about the thin line between enjoying your independence and your limits by your parents.

#You don't keep yourself upset and negative with every failure. You discover new paths that'll keep you happy and positive.

#You don't try to be what you're not because others are like that.

#You don't like and comment on each of your friends' photo validating your friendship on Facebook.

#You don't always try to assert yourself as first to comment on every thread on Nairaland!

I deeply empathize with the nation of France, more especially the people of París, on the "unfortunate" brutal inhumane attacks. But something else still irks me: WHY ALL THE HYPOCRITICAL ATTENTION
Every day thousands of people, refugees die in Syria, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and even Nigeria. People get their heads brutally hacked off, suicide bombings and terrorist attacks ravage innocent lives. PRECIOUS LIVES ARE LOST! Yet the international community and pretty much every major organization that stands for world peace and order, UN, EU, NATO etc, all turn a blind eye. No one bats an eyelid. But here we are today, France is struck by what we have termed "Day of Terror" and everyone is losing their heads. What about Nigeria that has experienced (and still continues to experience) DAYS of terror. Do certain lives matter more than others?? Are some lives more expendable than others?? Are certain regions designed for terror??
Don't get me wrong, I certainly feel sorry for the lost French lives, but so do I feel for the lost Arabs, Syrian, Afghanistan and Nigerian lives lost in terror. What a world! I rest my case...
