where you can be free with each other. You will find no need to

Ending a relationship is one of the hardest decisions to come to
in life. This is because there are a lots of things to worry about,
fears that exist in the relationship and problems to conquer but
none of this beats that which comes with breaking up the
relationship. This is because your mind is filled with doubts on
whether or not you are making the right decision. You’re
thinking if the relationship is the right one that you need to fight
for and if you’d regret throwing it away. You don’t know if you’re
over exaggerating the problems you have and if you let this one
go, you don’t know if you’d ever find love again.


These questions are those everyone that is on the verge of
breaking up a relationship asks. Some even go on to ask if
they’d ever be with a member of the opposite sex again, if they
are jinxed to be alone or if they are too choosy in their choice of
a partner.
While we can’t tell you if that relationship you’re in will last a
lifetime, we can categorically tell you that love alone is not
enough to sustain a relationship. Certain things would happen
that will make you realize you have to let go. And here are some

1. When you have different life plans
The chances of a relationship going the long haul when the two
people involved have different life plans are near zero. Take for
instance you are the type that wants to settle down and have a
dozen kids and your partner is the type that wants to travel
round the world and doesn’t want children, it’s probably best
you reconsider the relationship. Life plans are a very important
part of your relationship and it is important to be with someone
that have and want relatively the same things as you do.


2. When you have different ambitions
Chances are if you are an ambitious person that is self
motivated and you have a partner that is mostly satisfied with
his position and has very little motivation to move forward either
at their jobs or life in general, a lot of problems might arise later
on in your relationship.


3. When the attraction isn’t there
This is a problem given the fact that irrespective of how much
you love someone, if you are not physically or sexually attracted
to them, the relationship is bound to hit the rocks. Despite what
people say, sex is actually a core ingredient of a healthy
relationship. If you love your partner but you have no sexual
desire for them, loving them is definitely not enough. You will be
doing both yourself and your partner a great disservice if you
stay in a relationship with very little sexual commitment and
unsatisfactory physical attraction.


4. When there’s too much baggage
Of course, everyone has a form of baggage or the other which
comes from our past that is mostly not pretty. However, some
baggage might just not be tolerable enough for you as they are
too much to bear and handle. Some baggage are ingrained so
deep that it is difficult for you to fix and it inadvertently puts a
strain on your relationship. It is mostly difficult to accept and
move on with people that mostly dwell on their baggage.


5. When they have hurt you too many times
In your mind, you know when you’ve had enough of the
emotional and sometimes physical hurt that you constantly get.
There’s no way a relationship can survive a relationship
bedevilled with too much hurt irrespective of how much love
existent therein. It does you no good to play the role of a martyr,
get out of the relationship because you deserve way better than
that.


6. When you’ve outgrown them
A lot of people can relate to a situation where they mature faster
than their partner in the relationship. This is mostly awkward
especially if it is the woman that it happens to. Unfortunately,
this is a relationship breaker if you always find your partner
throwing tantrums. It is evident that what you feel isn’t enough
if they can’t grow with you.


7. When you need more from him
If you find yourself in a scenario where you’ve been dating for a
while and they are still shy of commitment and you realise that
you need more from them than they are willing to give, it is
perhaps the right time to break up and move on with your life.
They might change after they realise that they have lost you or
that might be the end of the relationship, either ways, you’re
better off away from them while they make up their minds.


Well, the truth is love is a beautiful thing and as such it is
essential to always give your all in a relationship so as not to
look back in the future and have regrets. This does not however
mean you should tag along in a relationship that is not working.
Most times love is a strong enough foundation for any
relationship but at some other times just like the 7 Things
above, it isn’t enough and you should just get out of the
relationship.

A man, Matthew James , was a victim of the armed attack that
left 27 dead in a beach in Tunisia.
James was lying on a sunbed with fiancee Sarah Wilson , when
a guman opened fire on them.



James shielded Wilson, taking 3 bullets for her and telling her to
run.
“He took a bullet for me. I owe him my life because he threw
himself in front of me when the shooting started.
“He was covered in blood from the shots but he just told me to
run away.


“He told me, “I love you, babe. But just go – tell our children that
their daddy loves them.
“It was the bravest thing I’ve ever known.
“I had to leave him under the sunbed because the shooting just
kept on coming.
“I ran back, past bodies on the beach, to reach our hotel. It was
chaos – there was a body in the hotel pool and it was full of
blood.


“You just can’t explain how terrible it was. It was chaos with
screaming and gunshots.
“I’m just so glad Matthew is alive, because so many other
people are dead.”


“We were just on the sunbeds, messing around and having a
nice time, when we heard these sounds.
“The shooting had started and there was a man with a gun
opening fire all around.
“It is hard to remember just exactly what was going on.
“I only saw the one man in dark clothing but people were being
shot.


“Matthew put himself in front of me, then he was hit.
“He moved and the man shot him again. Again he tried to move
and he was shot again.
“He was shouting and blood was pouring out all over.
“I was screaming and it was chaos as more shots were coming
out. We were down on the floor next to the sunbeds to shelter
but the shots just kept on coming.
“He just told me to go, to look after our kids and that he loved
me.


“I had to go and made it back to the hotel.
“I hid in a towel cupboard to make sure I was safe. It was dark
and I could hear people walking around – it was terrifying.
“Eventually it became quieter and I came out.
“I was desperate to find out what had happened to Matthew but
no one was around to help. It was so badly organised with no
one to help and hardly anyone speaking English.”
Sarah added: “I didn’t know if he was dead or alive. I was even
looking under white sheets to see if it was his body.
“I kept on speaking to people and after about two hours
somebody handed me a phone and said, ‘I have a very grumpy
man on the phone who won’t do anything until he has spoken to
you.’


“It was Matthew and that was the first time I knew he was alive.
“He just told me he loved me and that he had had an operation
to save his life. I’ve been to the hospital intensive care and I’m
just staying here now.
“His pelvis was shattered by the bullet and he also had a heart
attack. But he is alive.
“I’m just praying we can get out of here as soon as we can.”

Huawei has launched a new tablet with the name, Hauwei
MediaPad T1 (A21L).
The MediaPad T1 features a 9.6-inch screen has a 1280 x 800
pixel resolution, Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor (Qualcomm
MSM8916), 1GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage, which
can be expanded via microSD, 5 mega-pixel rear camera, 2
mega-pixel front camera and a 4800mAh battery.

The Tab also comes in 4G LTE version meaning you could use
your trusty sim cards on it.

There is no Android 5.0 Lollipop here as the Tab runs on
Android 4.4 KitKat (overlaid with Huawei’s EMUI) there is no

The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,
has issued a 14 days ultimatum to Governor Akinwunmi
Ambode of Lagos State to publicly declare his assets upon
assuming office.


The party, which gave the governor till Monday, 29th June, also
tasked the governor to make public in the media, the details of
the handover notes and assets of his predecessor, Mr Raji
Fashola.


In a statement by its state publicity secretary, Mr Taofik Gani,
the party warned that “if the governor fails to take up this moral
challenge, he will thereafter be labelled ‘Governor Pretender’
throughout his tenure.


The deliberate neglect will however compel us and other well
meaning Lagosians to explore the relevance of the Freedom of
Information Act (FoI Act) on the matter.”


According to the party, the necessity for the present governor of
Lagos State to make public his present assets is more ignited by
the huge foreign and local debts of near a trillion naira, now left
behind by the immediate past governor.

LAGOS— A two-year-old girl, identified as Uzoma, and her two
siblings, Ufoma, 9, and Emeka, 7, have been burnt to death after
fire gutted a three-room boys quarter at Egbeda in Alimosho
Local Government Area of Lagos State.


Vanguard gathered that the inferno, which consumed the three
siblings, a male and two females, started in their apartment at
about 10p.m. when the children were sleeping.
Sources said the fire was discovered by passers-by, who raised
the alarm to alert residents, as majority of tenants in the house
were yet to return from work.


Vanguard gathered that the inferno was caused by a candle lit by
their father, who locked the three children in his apartment and
left for the hospital, where his wife was receiving post-natal
care.


Effort to rescue the three children proved abortive.
Family escaped last year
A resident, who identified herself as Mama Bisi, lamented that a
similar incident occurred last year when the entire members of
the family were sleeping, adding, however, that they managed to
escape.


She added that the children would have escaped the inferno if
their father had yielded to the demands of his two-year-old
daughter that they should go with him.
It was learned that the mother of the children was in the hospital
where she delivered her baby last Friday.


The mother, it was gathered, would have been discharged from
hospital but for lack of funds which delayed her discharge.
When Vanguard visited the scene, residents were wailing over
the death of the children who were delivered through caesarean
section.
Also, it was learned that the landlord of the building had been
arrested by policemen attached to Shasha Police Station.


‘My son discovered the fire’
Mr. Christian Ononsolase, a commercial motorcycle operator,
who spoke with emotion, explained how the incident happened.
He said: “I sent my son on an errand and on his way back, he
discovered the fire and alerted the elders on the street.
“They raised alarm and everyone ran to the well to get water.
But the fire had escalated.


“The fire was put out by officials of the Lagos State Fire Service,
who were alerted a few minutes after the residents discovered
that the fire had escalated than they expected.


“Many did not know that the children were in the building. It was
after the fire was put out and we were assisting the occupants
of the building to salvage what was left of their property that we
discovered the children were locked up.”


Another resident, who identified himself as Bolu, said the fire
was escalated by the gas cylinder in the building, which
exploded.


Director of the State Fire Service, Mr. Rasaq Fadipe, confirmed
the story.

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists in a convoy of Toyota Hilux
vehicles and motorcycles laden with Improvised Explosive
Devices (IEDs) and petro-bombs attacked Babangida council
headquarters in Yobe state; torching the Divisional Police
Station, secretariat complex, telecom masts and several other
houses and buildings at 6.30am on Sunday.


Babangida is farming and herding community, and 50 kilometres
north of Damaturu, the state capital.
The gunmen, according to the District Head of Babangida, Alhaji
Isa Musa Gumcho, also carted away large quantities of food
items, petrol and diesel retrieved from stores and granaries of
residents.


“These gunmen attempted to attack our town on Saturday night,
but the soldiers repelled them towards Bayamari and into
Sasawa Forest, northeast of this council headquarters. But we
were however shocked and terrified, when the same insurgents
regrouped within six hours to attack us this morning (Sunday),
burning many houses, shops and our council secretariat
buildings that were torched three times last year and in 2012
and December, 2005,” said Gumcho.


He said even after the insurgents were repelled by the military,
some residents started fleeing, because of the fear of being
killed in the cross fire between soldiers and the gunmen.
On causalities, he however told newsmen in Damaturu that, “No
lives were lost in the multiple attacks, but many of our houses,
shops and public buildings, including telecom masts; were burnt
down by the Boko Haram terrorists group.


These boys are desperate for food and fuel, because most of the
routes of supplies are being checked and blocked by security
operatives in the Damaturu-Bayamari-Geidam-Gashua axis that
linked the Sasawa Forest,” adding that the same attacks were
launched two weeks ago in Fika and Ngalda.


The Yobe State Police Command also confirmed the incident,
stating that there was an attack on Babangida town, where a
police station was torched along with personal houses and other
public buildings on Sunday.


“There were no casualties in the attacks, but the insurgents
carted away some food items, livestock and fuel, and fled
towards Bayamari, a border village with Niger Republic,” said
the police source, who was not authorized to speak on the
incident.

June 12, 2015 marks the 1st year anniversary of the death of
late gospel singer, Kefee Obareki Don Momoh who died of lung
failure in a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday, June 12, 2014
after being in coma for 15 days. The popular singer born Irikefe
Obareki, was eventually buried on July 11, 2014 in her native
Delta State .


Until her death last year, which was too devastating and sudden
for fans and colleagues, Kefee was an award winning Nigerian
musician born in Sapele, Delta State to the family of Andrew
Obareki. Kefee graduated from University of Benin with a degree
in Business Administration and in 2000, released an album
titled Trip which went a long way in paving the way for her as
far as the Nigerian music scene in concerned.


In 2003, she got signed to Alec’s Entertainment , a record label
founded by her former choir director and subsequently released
the album containing her unforgettable smash hit tune,
‘Branama‘ which was named after the single, shortly afterwards.
Kefee was married twice before her death; she was married to
Alec Godwin, her former choir director and producer for 3 years
until 2008.


However, for the more than one year of her life on earth, she
got married to popular Radio host, Teddy Esosa Don-Momoh on
March 3, 2013 in Delta state . 8 months after her death,
precisely on Thursday, February 5, 2015, a post humous album
was launched at a special memorial service in honour of the late
singer.


The new 12-track album is titled Blessed and was
deliberately released on her birthday, February 5, 2015 as she’s
always done in her lifetime, according to her husband....

Sir Christopher Lee, the British actor who mastered
horror and Dracula roles before his turns as a Bond villain and
the wizard Saruman in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, died this
week, a London borough spokesman said Thursday.
Lee, 93, died Sunday, the spokesman for the Royal Borough of
Kensington and Chelsea said.


The great, always criminally underrated Sir Christopher Lee has
left us. A Titan of Cinema and a huge part of my youth.
