Stat padding! When you talk about stat padding, na your Ronaldo get that one.. He wasn't even the only player to win the MOTM twice in that competition,not even in his Portugal team. He wasn't the best player of the same tournament. I told you to check your star player against South American teams and tell me if he found it easy playing against them. Messi didn't win the MOTM award in the semifinals, yet he made an assist in the same game. So i don't see any stat padding in that, he was the best player in the competition, the stats don't lie.. Your goat's best stat has to do with goalscoring.. World cup 2018 against Uruguay, confederations cup against Chile.. His only motm was against only Panama

I will be very happy if Man utd can score lots of tap in goals. Its not as easy as many people think. At the moment a big chunk of man utd goals are from individual brilliance and few tap is. Scoring tap in requires a lot of experience to know where the ball will be and then tap in.

Like Filipo Inzaghi, the king of Tap-ins. He was a positional genius in the box too

Lol, no one is talking about just sitting in the box to score the goals.. We're talking about what a manager would want from a striker presently.. One ready to play with the team, shoot from outside and make an assist when being marked out.. Ronaldo is a very good goal scorer, but the team need to fight and get the ball into the box to make use of his dangerous positioning, but when it doesn't work out for the team, he appears useless, while a present Kane wouldn't just sit there when things aren't going well with the playmakers, he switches, gets the ball and try to play with them. Ronaldo was once like this, reason he had lots of assists in the past, but recently, it's not the same anymore. Kane edged with both goals and assists which is what I'm trying to let you see.. That it isn't just about the goals, but how you contribute when being marked out by an opponent that comes in with a man-marking technique... You're getting it wrong.. Most penalties scored in 2020,Harry Kane isn't even on top 10, i don't know how many he took though.. Ronaldo had 17,which added more numbers to his goals

Lol, Why's anyone even asking this question? Messi was never good for such position. Guardiola used him as a false 9 and had two natural strikers playing the wings. That formation confused the other teams cos Messi was always taking the striking position right from the midfield. Go read about the false nine position, it's was brilliant idea by Guardiola.. Kane would be in that position for me if i were to choose between the two, but Messi would always play behind him and still have more goals and assists

If he'd joined these teams with his good form, you think he wouldn't be a focal point of these big teams. SAF treated Ronaldo as a son, Ronaldo had this as an advantage, playing in a team where the manager was ready to help him grow and move forward.. Ronaldo was pivotal in Man United's success, but that team as a whole wasn't a joke, that team had a real team spirit. Even after Ronaldo left, they were still PL champions and entered the Champions league Final. Adding Kane's ability to a team like City would be of an advantage if not jinxed. If you put Harry Kane in a winning team too, he'd definitely be as important as Ronaldo is. Benzema loses a lot of goals, but still counted as a prolific striker. I don't see where Benzema is better than Harry Kane, but he's won almost everything. CR7 is a legend and Kane isn't fit enough to loose his boots, but sincerely, more managers would prefer to have Harry Kane in their team presently cos of age and his clinical striking ability. Nobody is comparing the 2,Ronaldo is definitely better based on what he'd done, but for a manager who needs a team player kind of striker, i believe most of them would go for Kane.. You think ManU would even make a move for CR7 if there was a greenlight about signing Kane? We all love Ronaldo, he's better, but presently, Harry Kane will be more preferred over him..
