Hindu Creation Myth: It’s Like Buttah. Rig Veda, the earliest Vedic text, says it all begin with a big, old’ monster. Or just a “gigantic being.” Purusha was his name, and he possessed a thousand heads, eyes and feet and enveloped the Earth. The Gods decided it was time to etgay idray ofway Urushapay, so they sacrificed him. What was left? Clarified butter, but of course. But this buttah did more than simply be finger licking good; it created the birds and animals. All those crazy body parts became the world’s elements, along with the Hindu Gods Agni, Vayu, and Indra. Priests, warriors, the “regular” peeps, and servants, i.e. the caste system, also came from his body (so he was classist, I take it?) Then they decided to go and change the story and make it about Brahma, the creator, Vishnu, the preserver, and Shiva, the destroyer. Vishnu sleeps; Brahma appears in a lotus sprouting from his navel. Once done sprouting, Brahma creates the universe, but only for one of his days…which is 4.32 billion of our years. Then Shiva’s gotta come in and do her thing, destroying the universe, all so that the universe can begin again. (I think we’re only a bit into a new cycle, so we’re all good.) Native-American Creation Myth: Dream A Little Dream. “The woman and the man dreamed that God was dreaming them.”(imagine that ) The rest involves God singing and shaking his maracas, smoking some tobacco, being happy, but trembling with doubt. The woman and the man, on the other hand, dream that a huge, shining egg appears in God’s dream (still following?), one in which they are singing and dancing and basically causing a ruckus (hey, they were ready to be born, already). They sang in quote 'I break this egg and the woman is born and the man is born. And together they will live and die. But they will be born again. The will be born and will die again and once more will be born. And they shall never cease to be born, because death is a lie.' I'm guess these fellows are the 'reincarnation gang ' 1 Like

Dissociative identity disorder (DID) Also commonly known as multiple personality diaorder , is a terrifying mental illness that is included in myriad movies and television shows Although very generally misunderstood . Sufferers usually have 2 or 3 (usually more ) different identities Sufferers routinely switch between identities and can remain that way for hours even years They can switch identities anytime and without warning and it is almost impossible to convince people with DID that they have it . Diogenes Syndrome Is more commonly referred to as 'hoarding' And is one of the most misunderstood mental Disorders , named after a Greek Philosopher Diogenes of Sinope (who was ironically a minimalist) Sufferers have this compelling desire the collect random objects or items to which emotional attachment is now formed . In addition to this uncontrollably hoarding , sufferers show extreme self neglect , apathy towards themselves and others , social withdrawal and no shame of their habit Common among the elderly , people with dementia and people who at a point in their life have been abandoned (Jeffery Dahmar comes to mind) , or who lacked stable home enviroment growing up 1 Like 2 Shares

COTARD DELUSION There's a healthy interest in the walking dead and other Zombie trend and then theres Cotard Delusion This Bad boy mental disorder causes sufferers to believe they are the walking dead (Literally), or a ghost and their body is decaying and or they have lost all blood or internal Organs The feeling of having a rotten body is actually part of the delusion In some cases most sufferers starve themselves to death This terrifying Disorder was first described by neurologist Jules Cotard though fortunately cotards disorder has been proven rare The most well known case occurred in Haiti , where a man abosoulutly convinced that he had died of Aids gone to hell (religious influence right) Well as scary and folkloric as it sounds it does happen

Clinical lycanthropy Like those with Boanthrophy , those who suffer from Lycantrophy also believe themselves to be able to turn into animals ( yeah witches comes to mind ) in this case , Wolves , warewolves and bats.
