You people are more stupid than I thought Common sense prevails everywhere for everyone for everything Or how do you draw conclusions about Aso rock to know Osibanjo is a run around? Or bourdillion to know tinubu runs a cartel there? Do you live in those places? Or does logic only work for non IPOB? |

Foreign Affairs › Sporadic Violence Hits Kwazulu-Natal And Johannesburg Over Zuma's Detention by theTranslator(op): 10:35pm On Jul 11, 2021 |
By AFP 11 July 2021 | 2:52 pm Sporadic violence has erupted in South Africa, with dozens arrested after looting in the eastern KwaZulu-Natal province, where ex-president Jacob Zuma is in jail, and in the economic capital Johannesburg. Police said in a statement Sunday they had arrested 37 people in the eastern province of KwaZulu-Natal and 25 in Johannesburg over the previous two days.
In KwaZulu-Natal, protests broke out a day after Zuma was imprisoned on Thursday.
The N3 highway linking Durban and Johannesburg was blocked for many hours, including a stretch south of Estcourt prison, where Zuma is being held, and 23 trucks were set alight at Mooi River.
While some of the protests appear to have been triggered by Zuma’s 15-month detention for contempt of court, they are tied in with a sense of economic desperation as the country faces tightened restrictions under a third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We don’t know yet what the strike is all about… but from what people have been saying it’s something related to our former president,” Sphamandla Ndlazi told AFP in the Jeppe neighbourhood of Johannesburg, with looted shops and burnt cars in the background.
President Cyril Ramaphosa called for calm on Saturday, urging people to “express themselves within the law” and avoid destruction that could further cripple the economy.
In Kwazulu-Natal, the police “had their hands full yesterday and throughout the night”, spokesman Jay Naicker told AFP on Sunday.
“Criminals and opportunistic individuals” took advantage of the tense climate to “enrich themselves”, he added. Several stores were looted, including in the Durban suburb Mariann Hill.
In Johannesburg, hundreds defied restrictions in two disenfranchised suburbs late Saturday, but their protests ended in violence, looting and 25 arrests, police said.
In Jeppe, police dispersed a crowd of 300 who had set up barricades on a main road before looting businesses.
Similar scenes unfolded in Alexandra, one of the poorest townships that neighbours the high-end city of Sandton, where nearly 800 rioters clashed with the police overnight. One officer was shot and hospitalised.
The police said they “remain on high alert” in the two provinces.
South Africa’s top court on June 29 jailed Zuma for refusing to appear before a probe into the corruption that entangled his nine years in power.
But the 79-year-old former anti-apartheid fighter remains popular, especially in his native KwaZulu-Natal where he is seen to embody traditional values. Source: https://guardian.ng/news/sporadic-violence-hits-kwazulu-natal-and-johannesburg/

Ojiofor: Every mercenary is fighting for one favour or the other. The person who hired South African and European mercenaries also hired few Yoruba soldiers who were fighting for their own interest which could be cash or something else since they were never Biafrans. Fajuyi as a soldier defended his commander in chief with what exactly? As a soldier did he fire a single shot to defend his guest or how did he do it ?Tell me exactly what he did to defend Gen Ironsi and died as a result of it. What did Peter do when they came to arrest his master Jesus? That is how to defend your boss more especially when you are a military man. You are a liar I pity you About Fajuiyi He hid Ironsi and tried talking That's how a tactical soldier fights Not fighting a lost battle with dozens of angry northerners after which Ironsi and his kinsmen killed his premier months beforehand Why didn't your "brave" Igbo man Ironsi shoot a single shot? Or is he not a brave Igbo man? Was he not superior in rank to "coward" Fajuiyi? The thing about you guys is that you believe the lies of your forbears that lie to you because of the frustration of loosing the war I can't believe you're trying to downplay what Yoruba has done for you I might not reply you anymore With this your attitude If I was Fajuiyi I would have shot Ironsi in the head when he came to Ibadan And die for mutiny |

I am still searching for the industrialized olaces in ogun state, ogun state is a village full of mud houses.
There is nothing like our port and airport, they were not bult by the state government but by the federal government, so all revenue goes to the federal government.
Ogun state has the highest number of universities producing yahoo boys and runs girls as graduates.
Keep bragging....with all these stuff you have mentioned, are tbe facilities there up to world standards Lol Where does the "FG" money come from? |
