Nigerians just want to put food on their tables, live peacefully and enjoy the dividend of democracy. The FX is putting pressure on everything.

Personally, Emefiele has been dishing out wacky policies, been a mess of monetary and financial policies. How can a prof of law be giving us brilliant suggestions all the time. That is how he did during cryto ban. huh
Sai Baba!!! grin

Politics › Re: Two Years After, FG Loses ₦2.4 Billion To Land Border Closure In Ogun by Theunbothered: 8:16am On Oct 11, 2021
I am still wait for someone, anyone, to tell me what we Nigerians have gained from the border closure.

It did not stop insecurity and arms smuggling

It did not encourage local production

It made everything more expensive

Caused further ethnic division.

Just like his failed closure of 1984 it achieved nothing and we ended up opening the borders worse off than when we closed it.

They will arrest them

Then let them go back home.

Bros Nigerians ain't daft.. even though the military can be high handed ,,,the girl was wrong for picking a call at a check point
The amount of daft responses and statements on this thread I had to respond to shows that Nigerians are daft.

So many people turn off their brains when it's time to defend nonsense because it's not their family members who are being affected.

Second she already knows she can't pick calls, the foolish sailor now made up an excuse and destroyed her phone because he's drunk on power.

This why I say Nigerians are daft, they don't read, they don't think, only talk loudly and foolishly.

Forget this talk, I've seen it over and over how girls say they just want money this, money that, if you don't have money you're not a real man.

Even if you get the initial attraction she will still dump you for someone who can satisfy her stomach and validate her ego.

That's dating in Nigeria for you.

Buckeyemedia1:
The difference between you peasant minded people in Nigeria & the Western Hemisphere is that they respect & revere their armed forces irrespective of politics, be it United States, France, United Kingdom, or the Peoples Republic of China. Unlike Mumu Unpatriotic Miscreants.
Their armed forces obey the law, when was the last time you saw an American soldier punishing a civilian with "frog jump"?

When last did you see a British soldier beat up a civilian because he wore a camouflage cap?

When did you see French cadets block roads and threaten citizens with "I will kill you and nothing will happen"?.

You think people just wake up one day and decide they are going to hate the Nigerian army?

This is what I mean when I say "Nigerian mentality", you want reap where you did not sow. You want to be praised like a king when you treat the citizens like they are less than animals.

And after all the rubbish you still have the guts to compare the Nigerian Army with a proper, disciplined foreign army?

This thread really shows the shameless stupidity many Nigerians exhibit.

After years and years of seeing the military doing the same thing since the 60s they suddenly can't believe this instance happened.

I am tired of daft Nigerians who led this country into the gutter

Hehehehehe Igbo Catholic girls and lies. grin

First it was at the checkpoint some was calling you on your hundred thousand phone, are you a customer service representative?
Adults with responsibilities usually get phone calls.

So the tall Fulani soldier who has Fulani soldier written on his forehead or speaks fulfude and you Igbo girl understand smashed your phone without listening to explanation.
Military personnel have name tags on their uniforms

two thing must be involved either you are those easy virtue girl with sharp uncouth mouth or the or the emotional blackmail was concocted by some bunch of IPOB members trying to portray the Nigerian Navy in bad light, which ever way, we know your works.
Or you can stop ignoring the insane behaviour military personnel get away with which led to this problem in the first place.

You might as well blame your parents for been Nigerian & giving birth to you in Nigeria, they would have saved you from the despair of Aguiyi Ironsi & the Nigerian Army?
The difference between Nigeria and abroad is the mentality of the people. This your foolish mentality, which millions of Nigerians share, is why we are still talking about insurgency in 2021 going to 2022.

I just hope you all come to your senses before it's too late.

You mean the mess you civilians created with your cut & paste democrazy?
Who overthrew the government and started the unitary system?

Who started the civil war and killed millions of people?

Who killed the Boko Haram leader which led to the insurgency?

Who looted billions in the 80s and 90s?

Isn't the president a former military ruler? Why is the insurgency he promised to end still going on?

The Nigerian Army is responsible for majority of the problems the country is facing today.

Bunch of power hungry and bloodthirsty idiots with no discipline, no ideas and grasp of reality.

Ignorant Pot calling Kettle black, are you not Nigerian like them, the ones you call useless fools? Lazy Animals like yourself just sit in your heat & plague infested cubicle & criticize with nothing to offer?
They believe they are better than the rest of us and can treat us anyhow because they carry gun, wear uniform and chant slogans but even cultists can do that.

Any soldier who attacks a civilian is no better than a terrorist. When the Army starts actually living up to the ideals they pretend to uphold they will get my respect.

Until then let them be enjoying the mess they created.

Soon the Terrorist will be @ your door step, then you will begging to see just one Army van pass by, ungrateful animals.
The same army that is doing catch and release in the name of operation "Safe corridor".

The same army that refuses to go after terrorism sponsors because "it is not their job".

The same army that are so good at their job we needed Amotekun, NSCDC, Vigilante and other groups just to pick up where they are lacking.

The same army that will not hesitate to kill and threaten "bloody civilians" but will complain about "low morale" when we don't kiss their ass.

We know the army didn't have vans when police stations were being attacked but packed their whole fleet just to attack a tollgate.

Useless army led by a useless general, supported by useless fools.

Why do nairaland reeks so much of ignorance?
Every minute, we hear crime news from everywhere on this forum mostly from the South and christians but no one has ever linked it with religion. Just look at all the comments up there.

It's a fair thing to be religious, but it'll be better if one knows when to be rational and sensible.
If someone in the south wears cult symbols and commits crimes, we say they are cultists.

If someone wears Biafra flag and commits crimes we say they are IPOB.

But if someone wears hijab to smuggle ammunition and help her brothers slaughter villages while shouting "Allahu Akbar", you say we shouldn't link it to religion?

Are you rational? huh

Are you sensible? huh
