I will tell you. I have been to the VILLAGE and back!!! I stayed there for one full year with my wife and kids. Now, I am back to Lagos and things keep getting better with each passing day.

Most of yalk know how i started here. The days of pipsbasketing $100 contest.
After demo trading for 9 solid months in 2020, one of my bosses here (InfoFirst) saw potential in me and helped me fund a live account ($100). Now, I didn't blow the account. My strategy was tight but my psychology was shit. Had 40% DD on the account at one time. Wasn't sure of myself anymore. Keep this in mind for the ending part of this story.

As time went on, I felt my issue was cos I use small stops.

I got a $20k evaluation account from mff and disappeared from here to focus. Omooo. My can couldn't can. After like 6 months, I could only break even and had to request for free retries. Anyways, the account was sha pushed to phase 2 before it got suspended...the daily max loss limit was exceeded. E pain me die. I felt so close!

Got another $10k account and blew it in phase 2 as well. I had to take a break to focus on my final year exams.

Just this past september, I decided to start afresh with my initial $100 live account that was on a 40% DD. I worked on my strategy, worked on my psychology mostly. Read some books on trading psychology (my elders here when I newly joined will remember how I always preach the gospel of reading trading books. Lol). Between then and now, I've been able to lift the account to profit. I've made some withdrawals to keep body and soul together. Currently, I'm hoping to get another shot at mff by next month.


Fx is a career that will pay you for life. I had to pause my web development journey at some point to focus on this. I made the charts my best friend. Sat in front of my screen backtesting with forex tester software. Omooo. While the journey is still far from massive testimony, I strongly know in my spirit that I'm just inches away from hitting fortunes. One of my favourite activities is going through the payout proof room on mff discord, i take screenshots of these payouts. Look at them on weekends and remind myself that it could be me very soon....i need just calm down and keep putting in work.

If you're feeling despair, just take few days off. Refresh your mind and go again. But dont dwell too long on demo. The real game is in the mind. The mind is stretched most on live market. I spent 9 months demo trading. So i know what I'm telling you.

It's still my innermost desire to make it so much in fx that I can afford to do monthly contests here. God help me.

From 2R, it erased some gains, now I'm left with 1R. I've sha broken even. I'll leave it to run till tomorrow. Anything wey wan happen make e happen. 😂 😂

I closed this trade out at 2R and opened a fresh sell. Currently Risk free. I'll be looking to hold till last week's low or NY open at least. pic is attached. I think we've seen the high of this week. Look for entries to join the sell.

Of course. You just select Nigerian banks, register your account details. They will display an account number you can deposit to. Once you make the deposit, it reflects in your trading account asap. Lemme screenshot the deposit methods sha.
PS. I've not tried withdrawing or depositing via other methods aside Naira. So I really can't say how those work but I guess it will be swift as well.


Another beautiful thing about OctaFX is that you can choose to open an Islamic account type where you're not charged swap and commission. I can afford to trade any lot size and hold for as long as I want without paying a single dime in swap fees. That's mind blowing

That's low.

Yeah. It's a fixed rate. That's the account type I chose while opening the account 2 years ago. I deposited at #409. There's option to choose a fluid rate that is at tune with current exchange rate.

Exness remains the best.. $3 minimum withdrawal and you will receive alert within minutes .

Spread during dull Asian markets rarely exceed 1.5pips while it's 1.3pips during london and can drop as low as 8pips during London/Newyork.

Liquidity and volatility determines spread not brokers. Though I know say some brokers no fit die well

Example. I took cadchf trade today with 50 pip stop loss to target 100 pip profit . Could you believe it went 49 pip against me, just a pip remaining to stop me out.

But at last smashed my 100 pip take profit

I took a trade on E/U on thursday. 11pips SL. held on for 100pips across 2 days.

I get you sha. But imagine you waited a while and refined your entry on a LTF. you could have bagged 150 pips profit with a lesser stop and bigger lot size while still maintaining same risk. you grab?

Price has finally dropped down to the demand zone(daily OB) as predicted. From tomorrow, I'll be looking closely at the reaction at that zone. Its evident that price quickly pulled away from that zone. As long as no daily candle closes below that zone, I'll be looking for buy trades only.

demand is currently outweigh supply. Price has been making moves upwards. i will watch closely tomorrow and look for buy signals....if any.

Boss your stop loss is too tight

A very high chance to be stopped out on every trade

a big stop loss wouldn't have still sufficed. if i had my SL at 50pips, twill still be a lost trade. I feel the idea of setting SL is to protect your account and get you off a trade tat will go otherwise. If 10pips can do the job, why waste 50pips?

I'm even seeking to wait till a set up forms so nicely that i can enter with like 5pip stop loss. smaller stops helps psychologically.

I have a bearish bias on EU. Price is heavily overbought on H4 with triple tops showing a failed bullish sentiment.

If price breaks the support(drawn from daily tf) at 1.077, we just might see a dip to the 1.6900 zone which has 50% fib retracement level marked off from the most recent low to the recent high on the daily. A prominent daily OB is present at this level as well.

Ps. I'm very rusty. Ive not actively traded in over 2 months. Might be wrong. We watch and move as the market shows it's dance steps.

I've been here for 4 seasons. I've seen people disgraced every year. Their fraudulent signal services exposed for the scam it is. Strange trade histories exhumed from only where God knows. I'll still be here to watch another set disgraced this year.

This is still my view on EU going into February. If the immediate support at 1.07756 is broken (hopefully, NFP will be the catalyst), then price could drop to as low as the demand zone/OB (from H4) at 1.066.
