Two admits: Tamuk and wvu ( no funding)
Awaiting University of New haven.

I feel i am doing something wrong in relation to funding

Tamuk scholarship will come through next week.

So I decided to change my program from Msc to PhD (Industrial and Systems Engineering) at NCAT. I got my congratulations mail yesterday.

I have a long list of people I’m grateful to, they all in several ways contributed to this good news.

Funding will come later.

I posted my transcript about F2 visa rejection in Lagos a couple of weeks ago. I decided to reapply immediately, and I was able to get a date in Abuja. The screening process was quite long and tedious compared to Lagos. Also, my baby was a bit restless, so I kept moving back and it took a while for my turn.

Info on my program's website says that they offer assistantships on a competitive basis from admitted students, and no separate application is required.

Since I've been admitted, I want to reach out to the Grad Coordinator to indicate interest. Do you advise this, or should I patiently wait till I hear from them.

Fall 2019 is still far and they should be concentrating on Spring 2019.

Secondly, I can safely say you are still under consideration if your academic profile is very good.

Admission for Fall should be on till June (based on previous timetables). Relax your mind till start of February.

Dont be tempted to lie. What if you’re asked how many gave you admission?
Then you lie again, this time you probably reduce the lie and say 5. What if you’re further asked to produce acceptance letter as proof? What will you do ? Don’t make things difficult for yourself. Just tell the truth.
