Wyttcat: Before I log out, I just want to make it clear that threads like this always end with tribal wars and shouldn't be allowed. We don't need to get along. I for one will not have an ibo friend or allow people closer to me, because I've never seen or heard any other people this hate filled, but all the same since we are still in the same country, and even when Nigeria breaks(i pray it does sooner than later)all we need to do is respect each other. We are all driven by different ideologies, and there's so much hate, but it's ok, we can do it if only there is RESPECT! See the i.diot talking about hate, when you are filled with hate and bigotry. Yes Nigeria will implode one day and her doom is near whether you APC hags like it or not, it has been signed in heaven and no demon or Ifa priest can change the will of God |

Olabestonic001: I deal in Projects and I know for sure that in SE/SS whenever we have projects, we pay "Boys King" monies and all such useless stuffs. Interestingly, the projects are majorly to enhance the power sector and their infrastructure over there. I tell you, taxing by hoodlums there can reach unusual crescendo with folks sometimes collecting monies for staying at home!!! The Legends that all is rosy is a fallacy (I speak from experience). But, I think of all those as thugs and hoodlums palaver and not Ndigbo palavers. Let's stop being petty, remove the log in your eyes before before condemning mine. And never play holier than thou again. Btwx, lands in the SE are far more expensive than those in the SW. In all our projects in the SW, we've never had problems with the communities (an expatriate was in admiration of that unique qualities; yes, they are federal projects) but in the SE, we have to settle "The Boys" to do any federal projects and we must do it every month. It is common knowledge that omoniles collect levies for different stages of development in house construction, My dad has built houses in the east, owerri to be precise, ttere is nothing like what you have posted here, Stop feeding the gullible with lies please. As per the bolded, i wasn't the one who started it, Kindly go through the thread and blame the He-Goat who started it |

DiademSh07: See this clown! Isn't that Enugu or are you colour blind? Just look at the dirt, litters and unkept houses apart from the brown roofs! Bunch of losers! Really, do you want us to derail this thread and start a tribal war because i'm in the mood for that. |

Wyttcat: You collect worst in your region or is in not in your region they collect "entering bush" fees? You ibos are definitely with no conscience, you talk of others when you do worse in your unprosperous land, no one wants to go. Or is it now a crime because Yoruba collect less in there own region?
Look, I think we Yoruba need to collect more from you till you bleed white and get the hell out.
Lagos was a former capital just like few others. Lagos was and still is what Yoruba made it to be to entice others to want to site the capital there. Why was your region not picked? It's because you don't have what it take to make that happen. Source please, the mood of your post shows that you agree that collecting levies for building houses, from bus driver, keke riders is barbaric and backward. There is nothing like "entering bush fee", stop making a mockery of your reasoning capacity |

Shameless landlocked parasites! we all know the truth, you can post regurgitated pictures for the gullible to believe |

Wyttcat: Sleazy toad, we bring Lagos and everything you ever wanted but can't get. We collect levy from you, and if you don't like it you can leave. You slaves have to work for my land to keep growing, you came willingly and have refused to go. I don't have to do give you more than I have. Leave my region if you can, parasite.
Get yourselves out of the emotional chains you think you are in and get out of my region. Oh so you agree that your tribemens are backward and greedy, because in any sane society, there is nothing like building levies except of course in southwest. even the northerners don't collect levies like their lifes depend on it, that shows that they are also hardworking too. FYI lagos was nigeria's former capital if you think it was cocoa that built bridges and roads but If you still insist it was built with the proceeds from cocoa, why is ibadan, the capital of yorubaland still filled with brown roofed houses? why is she so unplanned? can she be compared to enugu, the widely accepted capital of igboland? No i dont think so Igbos are miles ahead in terms of human development |

Flyoruboy: So when Biafrans were stopped in their tracks at Ore, Ondo state en route to Lagos, they were on their way to Togoland abi? The sheer magnitude of your obvious ignorance is epic. Go and read up on your history and quit embarrassing yourself. You are dumb, the plan was to capture gowon and not the nonsense you are yapping about. But not to worry, nigeria was destined to be doomed, she will be long forgotten only to be remembered in history classes |

some pastors are worst than white garment church, pray God open your eyes to see what some pastors do behind after all those miracles
as for fetish yoruba friends leave their cycle. cos show me your friends and i will tell u who you are make good christian friends not minding their tribe. if you are not comfortable with any tribe avoid them if u can My mentality is not wrong, I was pushed to attend white garment full time till God saved me as for pastors who do voodoo, it is not new story. Like the saying goes "shine ya eyes well well" quick miracle, quick death I'm only educating those who plan on visiting white garments to solve their issues, at least we all know white garments when we see them but do u knw the numerous christain churches practising voodoo? No So mister im not wrong. |

chynie: yeah but don't shift it to one tribe, cos even here in the east there are cherubim and Sabbath, and all sorts of white garment churches, some pastors who mix Christ with juju
u just have to pray God give discerning spirit Dont get me wrong, I like the yorubas but I noticed the younger generations visit white garment and it needs to change. Infact 80% of my yoruba friends attend white garments.... Nna we no get 9 lives like cat, na only one. Im sorry if I made some people angry but do not attend any white garment church, I repeat do not! They are wolves in sheep's clothing. |

On to the matter, op you're just being mischievous by half or deliberately trying to cause ethnic tensions here. Voodoo worship is synonymous with ALL traditional African societies especially in the sub Saharan regions. So don't claim Nope, it is 'more than more' in some regions EG: southwest |

It was and may still be African religion for some of us For you and who? If its a religion on its own why then do some mix christainity and voodoo / muslim and voodoo eg: white garment churches a.k.a celestial church and cerubuim&seraphim / southwest islam. Hypocrites!!! Truth be told, It is what I call deceit, when their followers die thinking they worshiped God rather it was the devil they served and sang praises to. Little wonder the average igboman is well off than a yoruba man The devil gives ten and take a thousand Abi y'all agreed when buhari call err one a criminal, nw masturbate on the truth |

Ive noticed in nigeria's Christian community, the easterners (old eastern region) practice christainity in truth and in spirit unlike the yorubas, most times I fear eating anything frm my yoruba friends house or going to white garments on visit because I don't want any spiritual issues.
I just wanna know why in this 21st century some nigerians still practice voodoo knowing fully well that nothing good comes from the devil. |
Culture › Why Do Yorubas Practice Voodoo? by thiagocrush(op): 1:07pm On Feb 09, 2016 |
I wanna know why yorubas practice voodoo. Even when they are muslims or christains, there is always one juju god they run to for instant help. Why do the white garment churches and Muslim alfas practise voodoo all in the name of serving God.
Its just a question and I need sincere answers
No bashing please. |
