In that case, Tinubu had no business being there because he is not an intellectual. Maybe he was invited out of courtesy as the sitting president.

Reason why people believe ibo people can do anything to make money at the detriment of people lives.
Politics › Re: NAFDAC: Is Fake Drugs The Only Thing Sold In Onitsha Head Bridge Market? by Thiefobi1: 8:10am On Feb 19, 2025
Penguin2:
Those with shallow thinking capacity who like to deride Peter Obi in all things without thinking have been attacking him for asking for the reopening of Onitsha Head Bridge market that was closed by NAFDAC because they discovered fake drugs in the warehouses of some drugs sellers.

But before you continue to attack Peter Obi, answer this question - is fake drugs the only thing sold in that market?

Or would you support the closing of all the mosques in Nigeria because most terrorists are Muslims?

Would you support the closing of all the churches in Nigeria because some pastors are fake and charlatans?

Would you ask for the disbandment of the entire police force because some criminal characters in the police force defraud citizens?

Would you ask for the extermination of Nigeria from world map because some of our citizens are fraudsters defrauding foreigners of their money while others are drug dealers with international drug trafficking networks?

If you have never called for any of the above, then it’s double standard for you to support the closure of Onitsha market because of few fake drugs dealers.

Have you asked what will become the fate of those selling building materials in the market?

What of those selling spare parts?

Or those selling cosmetics and beauty products?

What of food vendors and other artisans who depend on the market for their daily sustenance?

These people should all suffer because of the action of a few people who decided to do the wrong thing that they had absolute no control over?

Make it make sense.
Igbo people always defending their criminal brothers and sisters.

Politics › Re: How Opposition Is Going To Win In 2027 by Thiefobi1: 5:21pm On Feb 05, 2025
proeast:
According to Tinubu supporters, he is a god of politics. He is infallible and unstoppable. Even Tinubu himself and those within his cabinet also have this belief. However, like the popular saying, 'pride goes before a nasty fall' emphasis mine.

During the heydays of PDP, they also believed they were unstoppable and they claimed they were going to rule for many decades to come. One thing has become clear, and it's the fact that Nigerians including the politicians all have short memories. Everything that happened prior to 2015 are all gradually unravelling with uncanny resemblance...

Despite all the spirited efforts of the ruling party to destabilize the opposition parties, a powerfull alignment has started behind the scenes. Already, Tinubu is terribly unpopular in the North, East and indeed across Nigeria except a section of his tribesmen that place bigotry & tribalism above any other consideration.

On the international scene, Tinubu is also very unpopular except in France. Africans don't rate him and neither is he recognised in the United States. Tinubu himself knows the importance of having Washington on his side, and that's why Despite how they shunned him during Trump's inauguration, he still hurriedly sent his condolences over the air mishap.

The unfolding USAID scandal is going to open a can of worms that will further make APC so unpopular both within and outside Nigeria. Just like Bring Back Our Girls campaign was used to destroy Jonathan while the Democrats in Washington mounted pressure too. Trump's Republican is even more Machiavellan than Obama's. He is currently dealing blows on countries that are supporting BRICS and Tinubu is among them. Tinubu also supported his opponent during the election, so Trump will grab any opportunity to take back his pound of flesh and such opportunities are fast manifesting. Let's not even talk about the Chicago cases the Democrats refused to make public!

For those basking in the euphoria of that Tinubu can't be defeated, a shock awaits you!
grin

After drinking your burukutu u don start with ur nnewi analysis.

Continue daydreaming. Tinubu is your president till 2031 after shetima or ribadu takes over.

Oga anyone is moving base on current FG power for now.

Before 2027, once they sense that the power that teaned up against tinubu is strong. They will decamp back before the election.

And let me tell you, Presidential election is different and always go tribal most times. Those that decamp to APC are from that state as well.

Northerners will vote and work against tinubu because they now sees him with tribal difference and someone that can't be trusted.

When you appoint all your tribes men in all sensitive position and expect votes from other regions, then you're a joker
grin

You re still a baby political supporter

Don't be surprised when u discovered el-rufai is working for Tinubu, just to succeed him in 2031.

Have you in your wildest imagination believe wike will work with him and inturn sabotage PDP and Atiku.

Against all odds Tinubu, won the primaries! against all odds Tinubu, won the election!!against all odds Tinubu, is winning 2027 election!!!.

Keep deceiving yourself

So Obi will lose Plateau, Nasarawa and FCT that he won last time to tinubu? Give reason

Is it that tinubu is performing well currently or what?

Have you been to middle belt and know how they see tinubu?

Even South South will vote for tinubu? grin grin

Too much Nairaland has effect

I know you depend on rigging but you will be disappointed this time
How many northern or middlebelt big wig has openly align with obi or Atiku.

Obi got those vote not because of popularity but as a result of his religious affinity which will not work this time around.

Bendeco02:
Oga stop deceiving yourself

This propagand is now a stale.

Drop Obi and Tinubu without rigging and know who the North will vote for.

Normally North will prefer to vote for Atiku because most of them in core north don't actually know Obi much.

Even as their elites rigged for tinubu on last election. He won only three states in Both Nw and NE combined.

Moreover Peter Obi won Plateau, Nasarawa, FCT e t c and got sustainable votes in Adamawa, Taraba and Kaduna with small party. Maybe these states are in the South
Forget 2023 the dynamics is different now.

Have you ask yourself why most of PDP and labour members are moving to APC.

Northern governors under APC are also strategising on how to succeed Tinubu in 2031.

You will be shocked at the magnitude of number of votes Tinubu will received in 2027.

Swear say you no dey fear.

Atiku + Obi's votes during the last election was almost 2X those of tinubu. Imagine if it was an Atiku/Obi merger last election, tinubu wouldn't have seen 4th position, now check out how it'll be this time if Atiku and Obi merges, coupled with the animosity people now have for tinibu.

Unless you thieves are banking on rigging and inec abracadabra, tinubu has no chances
Atiku or obi combination will not Garner that margin.

The dynamics and permutations has changed.

Middlebelt and south south will not back Atiku or obi.
