Can you tell us the name of your domain registrar.

If it possible why don't you cancel your contract with them and transfer your domain name to another registrar.

I don't want to mention the registrar for sake of privacy. I think I will consider transferring the domain name. Thank you, I didn't think of that.

I recently bought two domains, a .ng and a .com.ng. (names witheld).

I was contacted by my domain name registrar who says that the domain names I bought are suspicious and would be suspended unless I tell them the purpose for which i would use the domains and also provide a letter of authorization from the trademark which they said the domain name I bought is supposed to belong to. The trademark is a university already using the .edu.ng extension.

I explained to them that I cannot get a letter of authorization from the university because I am in no way affiliated with them. The reason for buying the domain names was to create a students' discussion forum for students in the university, hence the domain names I bought felt suitable.

They said the domain names would be suspended nonetheless, without the letter of authorization.

This is where I'm confused.
I literally bought the domain names.
Now, I am been told they would be suspended.

What can I do dear webmasters.
