Music/Radio / Steve Okwor —conundrum by thisishiphophq(m): 4:45am On Jun 13, 2022
The storyline in Conundrum is based on a true story. It was about a certain man named Joe. He was born into great wealth. But never felt loved by his family, even though they were well-off.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0kKSP7Bftk

He always felt some kind of emptiness within himself which all those wealth could not fill. So he decided to remedy the situation by giving his share of wealth to a cause he was passionate about. And that cause was sending children born into poverty to schools to give them a head start in life. Kindness to him became the fulfillment of his life. So this song is about kindness, love, fulfillment, whatmattersmost, conundrum, satisfying, satisfied, satisfaction

Music/Radio / Kubota by thisishiphophq(m): 1:12am On Aug 20, 2020
EARLY LIFE:

Kubota (born: Riki Kubota) grew up in Los Angeles California. Surrounded in a congested music scene, Kubota sought out to find a sound that differed from those within his surroundings.

EARLY MUSIC CAREER:

With influences ranging from Atmosphere, Common Market, Year of the Ox, Blue Scholars, Ces Cru, to others, Kubota has generated a unique style of Hip-Hop/Pop to differentiate his musical sound.

Writing music since elementary school, Kubota has morphed and established his craft along the years. Starting his musical journey as a guitarist in his first band named Carlyle, Kubota and his friends wrote and played heavy metal music in various local venues across Los Angeles. From the Whiskey A Go Go and The Key Club to metal festivals and opening for acclaimed bands, Kubota realized the worth of pursuing a career within the music industry. Unfortunately, the band broke up in 2012, so he decided to switch genres and started to produce music on his own. Within a few years, he learned to mix and master his own music, developed his delivery as a rapper, and recorded his first EP and released it in 2016 on his own.

Music/Radio / Top 5 Best Web Hosting For Musicians by thisishiphophq(m): 2:23pm On Mar 30, 2020
Making it in the music industry this days involve alot of work beside being creative, great beat and being conscious.

I've seen a lot of artists who are very good and creative not making it, and eventually fading out after a period of time.

If you want to make it this days you have to be willing and ready to invest money in promoting your work through music blogs, radio stations, TV stations and if you'd like you can take it a step further by having your own website where you can sell your songs, tickets, and even your merchs if you have the intention of selling merchs.

To have your own website, you have to put into consideration some or if not all of the flooring factors;

1. Price
Alot of people when considering a web host put this factor at the forefront front, but in reality this shouldn't be so. Most especially if you hope to make money from your website, you should consider a host that will give value for your money. For instance, a host that charges $1. 95/month for the host can't be compared to a host the will charge you $5-10/month or so. Why? The uptime, support and everything of the latter will be on a whole other level.

2. Area of Focus
Some Web hosts, are niche based. This means, they are best for a particular purpose (i.e music, store, etc)
Before choosing a host, consider what their services.
Some have great support and up time but not good for small business purpose or music blogs.

3. Limitations
This time you have to consider the RAM of the host, speed and processing power, e-commerce, forum etc. If you are artist and would want fans to visit your site after their first time, you have to put all this into consideration.

4. Tech Support
Is the Web host support team up and running 24/7? If your site is down, is there someone you can put on the phone and talk to? Is there someone you can email, chat with or send a text? This is usually the most important thing some people consider when it comes to web hosts.

5. Features
Here you should consider, what makes this Web host exceptional in hosting my site. Whether it’s multiple data centers, energy-saving practices, or additional features such as regular data backups or free domain privacy, hosting companies often offer more than just servers.
You should endeavour to know and identify any Web host that will provide you with the features that you desire, this could be the host that you need for your music.

Music/Radio / The Message In 2pac's - Ghetto Gospel by thisishiphophq(m): 9:50am On Jan 19, 2020
Until his demise in September 13, 1996. Tupac Amaru Shakur, birth name: Lesane Parish Crooks, popularly known by his stage name 2Pac, was an American rapper and actor.

He was a revolutionary rapper whose music was directed against social injustice, crime against women and blacks in the society.

Until this day, he is seen by many as symbol of activism and fight against inequality.

In a bid to curb the killings and crime committed against blacks by blacks he released the track Ghetto Gospel which was released as the lead single from his 2004 posthumous album Loyal to the Game. The song was grace by the likes of Eminem, who handled the production and samples Elton John's Indian Sunset that was released in 1971. I've always said this, everything we do has a pinch of our personality in it. As an artist if all you can possibly rap or sing about are songs promoting the use of hard drugs and alcohol, sex, crimes, gangster stuffs, fast cars, designers, flexing and what have you, then, it says a lot about who you are and your thoughts pattern. You cannot give what you don't have, that's why some artist operate on another level, because they are just simply who they are

The likes of dope lyricist can never go down that road, it is almost impossible for them to think that way. Special thanks to all the great artists that has graced the music scene, there's still great sounds out there, you just got to dig deep

Great words.
