My rev said he went to USA and was admitted...
after discharge few days later...

bill was $19k+ ..!!

omo..which hospital go charge N9m for zero surgeryhuh?

i have siblings who used to spend 2-3weeks in the hospital..
Highest bill ever has been 200k
In the US that your sibling will qualify for free medical care and the govt might put of some benefits since he's always in the hospital. I think they call them people with special needs or so.

That Rev that was billed 19kusd, he will only pay the deductible which can be under 1k usd while the insurance company will pay the rest. If he does not have medical insurance that's problem. Ignorance is not an excuse.

Can you live a standard life with 28k usd in the US?
you will always go wrong while trying to compare U.S and Nigeria. In the U.S you don't really need 28kusd to live. You can live on a zero dollar in as much you're credit worthy.
90 percent of Americans don't have up to 1kusd in their bank account, but they are still able to afford big cars and comfortable lifestyle.

10m naira is not ordinary. It's a life changer if you know what you are doing.

Crime in US is worst than Nigeria
That's not true, except you live in the ghetto. even if you live in the ghetto, in as much as you're not part of gang related stuffs, you will be fine. Nigeria is not just about only crime, it's a war zone as well.

And you think 28k can buy a house or brand new car in the USA?

Nigeria is more cheaper than the US.

What I know is in US low earner live a better life, stable everything unlike Nigeria.....
I dont think 28k is enough to pay down payment on mortgage of 500k usd house and that money will go a long way in Nigeria.
in 2017 I bought Hyundai sonata for 19k usd brand new. You can get a lot of cars for under 16k usd brand new.

There are some eligibility that can qualify you for zero down payment on houses. ie VA loan.

10M naira might not be able to fix all you problems, but it's not ordinary anywhere in the world

Ordinary 10m and the branch manager becomes too friendly. Poverty is a disease. I had to switch cars, and days I make deposits in the bank when one cashier I have never transacted with called me by my last name.

How did she know my father's name. Probably they discuss customers in their weekly meetings but this one is a teller not marketer. The advantage is that they attend to u sharp sharp but oga u r also easy target.

It's too easy for them cos like CBN said earlier only 5% of Nigerians have above 500k in their accounts.

Only God can save us.
Bro, 10M is not ordinary in any currencies. Less than 1 percent of the world populations have that in their savings.

With the permission of people here I will answer your question cos this is not the right thread.Go to united security I think they are in Victoria island or Goole them to get their details, take along with you the copy of the form filled during the purchase and if you can't get it just go there they will tell you what to do to reclaim your dividend. For the sales, register with a stock brocker then cscs account would be opened for you then give them the certificate to be verified into your cscs account when that must have been done, instruct them to sell it. I would advice you to do this very timely before January or prior to the release of their FY result cos price may likely rally before then which would be to your advantage, I perceived u bought @ #14 during public offer. So act on time
fiscal year starts October 1st,Calendar year is January 1st. It's already a new FY for the banks

It seems the online votes didnt count. From my calculations :

280M votes total

Online gives 100votes before you start using money from sms.

=280,000,000 divided by 100 multiply by 30

=2, 800,000 *30

=84,000,000.

Biggie didn't make no profit?

Omashola stories are flawed not because he lying, he just trying to avoid some incrementing part of his stories, because is initial source of wealth is questionable.

Omashola really has a lot of money, I know folks that know him in SA. He runs the street, drives a new edition of Mercedes. He got money than ever one in that house combined

he's not here for the money pers say, he's more into being famous. He is not really too concerned about what he will do after the house like the rest of the other HMs

Right now the organizers have the caveat to recognize her as a former HM or not.

Sometimes you can be driven by emotions to make unrealistic promises. I think she genuinely meant because of the heat of the moment.

Same thing happened to me in 2016. A family member lost some money into mmm ponzi scheme, when I heard about it, I felt sorry for the said person and she seems to be having suicidal ideation, then I promised to give her 1M naira. Later when my brain came back to default mode, I come dey wonder who sent me to make that promise. I just had to close my eyes and paid the money in 3 installment.

When I read about the 50M, I knew it's unrealistic. That na full house plus a car in lekki na. Lol!

Why don't you guys do the online voting and maybe one or two sms votes and relax?

Do you really think it's wise to empty your account to vote a HM?
For me, once I do the online vote for free, then good luck to the person.

It's really stupid seeing the way most students are wasting their allowances to vote while the working class who know the value of money don't.

If you subscribe Go TV and DSTV, plus the sponsorships isn't enough for the organizers, make them go look bush.

During my nysc dsys, there was this girl who was so stingy to herself to the extent of drinking dirty water from the well in the quest to save her alawee. Because of the low quality of life she fell sick and spend all those money treating typhoid.

I always tell people even if you are building for the future, always consider the present as well. If you don't keep a good quality of life you might not live long to see the future you're saving for.

InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Thisnut(m):
Everything has ups and downs.

Owning a personal house can be a curse sometimes and also a blessing.

Renting can give you more flexibility to move around in pursuit for better life while living in your personal house makes you regid, you can even spend more money for transportation to work than you would for renting.

Keeping money in cash tend to lose it purchasing power over time. The house you build/buy for 30M today, in 10 years time that house might cost to 50 to 60M.

House rent over the time tend to increase. A house that goes for 300k 10yrs ago is now around 900k.

Cash can easily be liquidated, it can be a curse and a blessing. Some folks liquidated their money for MMM and all went down the drain, while no one had to sell their house to invest in MMM ponzi scheme. Some liquidated for cryto and made a lot of money some also lost from it.

Owning a rental house at a very young age is very good. Over the time you will have a risk free passive income, while the initial capital building the house does not lose it purchasing power. T bill over the time, the initial capital loses it purchasing power.

Some houses in Victoria Island where built for less than 10m 15 years ago. But now you can easily rack 2m per annual from em now. While the house is valued for 30M and above

Conclusion :

Short term, money market is better

Long term rental is better.

It is easier to train your character than grow your fan base to 5 million. She would grow stronger.

A man of good character with a poor (products of pity & consolation votes) fan base will only end up like Efe or Miracle. They have no brand value.

Cece and tacha are two different cases.

Cece was a first runner-up while Tacha is being disqualified for bad conduct.

there is so much you can do for someone you love, but if the person is heading to fire, that is when you back out.

Anything that happens to Tacha is all what she bought in full. Yes, everyone has a low point in their lives when they need people around, but this is not one of them. All she needs is a lone time for sober reflection. hopefully learns and move on.

Humility is golden. Tacha would have been the biggest winner, with or without the 60M in the history of BBN. Now, she's the biggest losser. No brand would want to associate with her at this point.

Physical violence is not good, it can bring you down for life. Look at Ray Rice, former quarterback of Biltmore Ravens, a super bowl winner who was in his prime has been out of NFL for over 6 years for beating up his then fiancée, now his wife.

I hope this becomes is lession, not just to Tacha but for the whole of Nigerian youth. When you fall when you're humble, people will help you up. But if you are proud they will all laugh at you. Everyone falls at some point, the point is can they rise up again?

I want Biggie to hold on to the punishment till next week Thursday after voting ends. In that case Biggie will disqualify both mercy and tacha and still show the poll results. In this case the person who comes 3rd position becomes the winner out of technicality.

Who else to market their products better, Tacha is still trending with almost 200K on Twitter just on body odour. She will use that to her advantage.

Keep on hating guys... FlyGirl is going higher...
it's not all about trending, trending for the wrong reason is not something good. This body odor issue will de-market her from potential endorsements. Except she just want to continue twerking on Instagram, then no problem.

Threebear, even with group nomination, Frodd is still up for eviction more than Mike. Do the math yourself.

Week 2:

3. Mike
4. Frodd
5. Tuoyo

Week 4: All HMs

Week 5:
1. Jeff
2. Omashola
3. Mike
4. Tacha
(Frodd was HOH no one could nominate him.)

Week 6: No eviction

Week 7: Group Eviction
Khafi
Omashola
Joe
Frodd
Elozonam

Enkay
Ike
Tacha

Week 8:
Diane
Seyi

Frodd
Khafi

Week 11:
Tacha
Khafi
Mike
Seyi

Week 12:
Cindy (Fake nomination)
Diane (Fake nomination)
Mercy (Fake nomination)
Frodd (Fake Nomination)

Week 13:
Mike
Ike
Tacha
Elo
Cindy
Frodd ( saved himself with UVP)

Edited for op.
Frodd is the most nominated HM followed by Tacha,
Mike and
omashola

lets be honest, Ike and elo have no reason to beef Frodd not even any HMs because Frodd would not make anyone top 2 favorites.

The HMs save would have been as follows :

Elo to save :Diana and ike

Ike to save :omashola and Mike

Mike to save : Omatshola and ike

Omashola to save : Ike and mike/cindy

Cindy to save : omashola and mike

Diana to save :Ike and elo

Tacha to save : Ike and Omatshola.

So whomever Frodd put up should not be any problem to the HMs or the viewers.

The hate in Elo so bad that he had to put put frodd even when Frodd was indispensable. How can you say you put up Frodd because he's Frodd And not because he had the Veto and would save himself? I can't Stand that guy a bit.

Wether naira was 5.5 to usd or 55 to usd in 1999, the point still remains valid that over the past 20yrs that naira has depreciated geometrically and if the trend continues which is most likely, it would be better to keep your money in the major world currencies over a long period of time.
