UltraSolid: You have made a brilliant observation, with the bolded, I have personally talked about relentlessly here. Tinubu has shown all the South what is possible if Southern leaders can value themselves, when in charge of the Presidency, and fight for their right to lead independently without succumbing to menacing threats and intimidation from the North that feels she owns Nigeria and must always dictate how our nation is to be administered.
Tinubu has set the precedence for future Southern Presidents by being far braver than GEJ, a weak and accidental leader in reality, and OBJ who, despite being a former military General, could not move to insistently deliver the reforms Nigeria needs to become a developed nation where our people can meritorious earn living wages to then be as innovatively productive as possible to the glory of Nigeria.
Tinubu is working towards delivering a meritocracy, as obtains in all thriving nations of the world, where free market innovations and talent is the real driver of the economy not reliance on political money and largesse, government offices corruption or 'connections' to those in the corridors of power . We need a Nigeria where every Nigerian has the opportunity to develop to their potentials without 'one Nigeria' impediment.
Note the definition of living wages below to see it insists, as obtains in developed nations, such must be secured by earnings from employment and not assisted/sustained by Government subsidies, as obtains in many sectors in Nigeria, to the detriment off the growth and development of our nation.
Tinubu has always set precedence that changes entrenched systems. He Was first Governor ever to raise funds fron the bond market to finance development of critical infrastructure for Lagos rather than go with begging bowl to Abuja as was the case back then.
He is the first President, since 1999, to show the North must respect and value the importance and rights of other Nigerians to the extent they must accept reforms and initiative a Southern President has the mandate and authority to pursue.
By leading bravely and resolutely, Tinubu is also hardening the resolve of influential, progressive and powerful Nigerian Southerners worldwide to fight for what is best for them and Nigeria at large rather than keep giving in to the imperialist bullying of the North that is seriously threatening to lead Nigeria towards becoming a fully terrorised, unproductive and failed nation worse than Afghanistan, Somalia etal.
Born-to-rule Northern leaders can keep fighting myopically for the control of the Presidency they believe is their 'food' but very few of them realise Tinubu is working to change mindset of many who will come after him that will lead to the future insistence the right things must be done by Nigeria and not in the North's favour alone.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_wage I'll agree with you that Tinubu has shown how weak the North is. I agree 💯 |

sreamsense: What is the good things you can point to that has happened to the north especially zamfara that first implemented it? At the end of the day, sharia in zamfara ended up recruiting harden bandits and criminals that shari law can never be applied to. So, far there is nothing good you can point to in the north, such things can never be emulated. It only brings backwardness. Also, Islam is minority in the south west because christians and traditionalists out numbers Muslims, and Christianity remains the most populous of you factor in that Ondo and Ekiti are 85% christians while other south west states share nearly evenly.
In a family where father is a Muslim, wife is a christian and children are shared in faith. So, you want to use sharia to cut the hand of the father that is the bread winner of the house while others will be looking at Islam in good faith, right? The idea should be dropped, it can't work in south west, they are more enlighten and educated people fair points |

This is a very complex and complicated thing I really find hard to comprehend I have seen far-right Yoruba conservative like Aare Kurunmi Kakanfo on X who is a Muslim going against establishing Sharia in Yorubaland for SW Muslim Now , how will someone who believe in the Hadith not support Sharia in Nigeria?

"if dem born you well try it"
And the other person will never try it, simply because (as the above statistics shows) . . .
THEY WERE NOT BORN WELL AT ALL
Most were born in the backyard or bushes , that is not being BORN WELL

aswani: I don't particularly understand how Ala Igbo is so great yet Ndigbo are found all over Yorubaland, which is a good thing by the way, and not just in cities but villages too.
You claim Ndigbo pass una (Ndi Yoruba), which might be true, yet go to all the places in the pictures you are showing in ala Yoruba and lots of Ndigbo leave there comfortably with their families.
Begs the question, why do they leave places like your wonderful Amawbia, which looks good in truth, to go and slum it in ala Yoruba.
The point being all this willy waving between Ndi Yoruba and Ndigbo is an absolute nonsense. There are good and bad areas in both lands, politically currently, Ndi Yoruba have the upper hand.
I will repeat, Ndigbo will always be in Yorubaland, that one or two people want them to leave will not happen. Not in a place that Ndigbo properties and back rent were protected and returned after the civil war. SW is our shop! as simple as that |

Emmanuel900: I wish you were more creative
You guys always use the same abusive words on people that ask the right questions instead of just being slaves that worship money, envious blah blah
Most of these so called unknown billionaire are also in collude with the government to loot your destiny and fleece your generation then do one or two charity work with peanut and the so call people will praise him to high heaven. That's if he's not even in more bloody and dastard crimes.
It is only in Nigeria someone can become a billionaire without being known and the businesses he is doing to make that kind of money, in USA, UK, France, Spain etc for example you can not become a billionaire without people not knowing about you and the business you are into, that says a lot about how nefarious and how corrupt we are here. Instead of you writing this epistle. which i didn't even bother read, Why not research the said fellow yourself. Had he been throwing big parties i would support you questioning his wealth . he's impacting his community. you're here trying to castigate his efforts. Nonsense! |

In the West and Europe you can not become a very rich person without the people not knowing your source of income. You guys are pathetic, envious and sad Tufiakwa! |
