Please show me where the bolded is written. If 3 out of 10 people in Lagos are living in multidimensional poverty, does that not mean that 9 million poor people live in Lagos alone?

True statistics should be based on percentages and not numbers . This records here are illogical. They do not express the true state of things.

Even as at 1994 census, Lagos was more than. 20 million. Where did you get your 15 million from?

There is no region as urbanised as the SW basically just because of the number of people and highest number of migrants there especially Lagos.

If SW says anything about hunger then you should know that people in the SE are dying of hunger as testified to by Ohanaeze and Cubana who fled to the SW.

The recent news even should have told

If most of your people are fleeing to SW,
doing 'Japa' to the SW,dont you think that the poverty in the SE is getting unbearable as attested to by Cubana?
Have you ever seen any Yoruba flee to the SE?

Ok,look at the reality here again...

Without sentiment and biased disposition, I think you're right.
Let's do a little computation to verify the above claim.

SW

Lagos with actual population of 15.80 million(3 out of 10) = 4.74 million(which represents 30% of the total Lagos population)

Ogun with a population of 6.50 million (7 out of 10) = 4.60 million(which represents 70% of the total population of Ogun State)

Osun State with a population of 4.20 million (4 out of 10) = 1.68 million( which represents 40% of the total population of Osun State)

Ondo with a population of 5.50 million (3 out of 10) = 1.6 million ( which represents 30% of the total population of Ondo)

Oyo State with a population of 7.50 million (5 out of 10) = 3.75 million ( which represents 50% of the total population of Oyo)

Ekiti State with a population of 3.40 million (4 out of 10)= 1.40 million ( which represents 40% of the total population of Ekiti State)

SE

Anambra State with a population of 7.30 million (3 out of 10) = 2.20 million ( which represents 30% of the total population of Anambra State)

Abia State with a population of 5.00 million (3 out of 10) = 1.50 million ( which represents 30% of the total population of Abia State)

Enugu State with a population of 5.40 million (6 out of 10) = 3.24 million ( which represents 60% of the total population of Enugu State)

Ebonyi State with a population of 4.00 million (3 out of 4) = 3.00 million ( which represents 75% of the total population of Ebonyi State)

Imo State with a population of 6.10 million (4 out of 10) = 2.44 million ( which represents 40% of the total population of Imo State)

So, in summary;
SW with a population of 42.90 million and a population of 17.77 million people living in multidimensional poverty, represents 41.40% of the total population of SW

SE with a population of 27.80 million and a population of 12.38 million people living in multidimensional poverty, represents 45% of the total population of the SE.

3.6% difference.

This above is based on the information provided by seunmsg
lol 4.9 still dey shout ebi npa wa grin grin

that's a huge number grin

So you now agree SE is the most Urbanised region going by your Argument okwa ya?

Illiteracy is number one problem of the Igbo. You guys don't even know how to read simple statistics. Look again, SE is by far poorer than SW. Do you know anything called fraction? All you did was look at the general figure which of course will be smaller where population is smaller.
Ayo You're being smart by half hahaha grin

when we said SE was the most Urban region because it's the most urbanised by PERCENTAGE landmass you people argued that it's not true because by landmass SW is the most urbanised because its has bigger land mass urbanised grin

what changed? grin

do you now agree SE is the most urbanised? or you're talking about landmass?
if you talk about landmass I'll count 4.9 Million difference as superior besides it's just 3% difference in percentage grin

PoliticsBuhari Is Better Than Tinubu by Thormentor(op): 3:47pm On Jun 09, 2024
Buhari government was bad and try as much as possible to claim they are corrupt free.

1. He removed Subsidy and went back to pay for it with higher price with fuel price even Higher . inflation is now all time high

2. Floated Naira and went back to defend it again

and his online goons were here singing his praises
these to me were the two worst moves he hurriedly made without arranging systems to curtail the effects.

Again Tinubu is way worse than Buhari

Shut up already.

There are igbos all over south west. There are igbos even in my village. Don't hide under the umbrella of Lagos, igbos are everywhere in SW and majority of them contribute to the multidimensional poverty indices in SW.

Ordinarily, the poverty data in SE should not be up to 3million. The population and the entire SE is not up to that of Lagos or kano alone.

In terms of land mass, you can conveniently bundle the entire SE region into kaduna state or oyo state alone.
SW have the most people living outside Thier states of Origin

Here in Anambra alone there are hundreds of thousands of you

Even more in Abia and Enugu

They are all big Olodos who wallow in self-deception and are happy to deploy lies to claim superiority over Yorubas they desperately envy and feel inferior to more than any other people in the world.

I recently told an Igbo that Yorubas have the biggest spending power in Nigeria and he argued that this is only because of Lagos and that SE would be first without Lagos being counted in favour of the SW.

Little did the ignoramus know, because the olodos are lied to in their hateful and envious communties that Yorubas are poor "ebinpawa" people, that the SE actually has the lowest spending power, bar Northeast, of all the regions of Nigeria whereas the SW is ahead by far with SS second !!!

The ignorant irritant, too dumb to do basic fact-finding, had always believed Igbos spent more !!

To be honest, never productive arguing with Igbos because facts, reality and verified collated statistics don't matter to a people ready to lie to themselves and the world, 24/7, just to compete with Yorubas.

The Yorubas have always been ahead of the Igbos and always will be. This is what riles Igbos who are the most insecure people God put on earth always seeking validation from others by making false, grossly ignorant and outlandish claims of superiority .

SW folks are sad about this figure because we know we can do better. SE folks are extremely happy because SW is just 3% better than the SE. Says a lot about the difference in psyche and mindset between the people of the SW and SE. While we in SW try to meet up with the standard of western world, SE are happy they are just 3% behind the SW.

Okay now you're talking
by percentage SW is 37.6%.
SE is 40.6%

3% by percent difference isn't much.

I once posted about the most built up region by percentage i was shut down by people who said raw data of per kilometre is a better way of ranking than using percentage most built up region . 16 million and 11.1 million people is massive that's a whooping 4.9 million difference! considering SW have 6 states which helped in percentage if SE is to have another state the result will be more clearer.
