Lingard didn't need to do anything to get a new contract. He was on his last year and the club renewed his contract. Simple.

Not necessarily all Nigerians playing in Europe. There should be a team in place to monitor, track and follow the progress of young upcoming talent with potential and tabs should be kept on such players.
