Jorginho man of the match for sure.
Barkley, the less said about that one, the better.
Tammy was just unlucky not to have scored..
Tomori, Another good performance from him. Very very confident. |

Will be interesting to see how Lampard manages him, Kante, Kovacic, Mount and Loftus-Cheek. And Barkley |

Billy Gilmour Man of the Match 100%.
He was everywhere today.
He bossed that midfield and it felt as if Barkley was the academy player while he was the first team player drafted in because of his experience.. |

Swissh: Why will people complain if a midfielder is put into a midfield category. Your response has everything to do with kimbeast explanation. FIFA eleven is not an actual line up with roles like defensive midfielder or centre back or right back as explained. Bros abeg rest.. Someone posted a pic of Ronaldo in 2006/2007 XI, and other person quoted him saying the reason why Ronaldo is in midfield is because he played as winger in 442. I pointed out to the person that Ronaldo did not play as a midfielder, rather a winger. My response was not because of Ronaldo's position in that XI, it was just to point out to him that Ronaldo played as a winger when he arrived in Manchester and not as a midfielder. |

Afz9095: don't mind him, Kaka was the cdm in that formation likewise puyol was place has the Lb does that means that's where they play Baba, what's ur point? U said Ronaldo played in midfield that's why he was placed in central midfield in the XI, and I'm pointing out to u that Hazard played as a 10 and a 10 is more of a midfielder than someone that plays as a winger in a 442. |

Melvyn11: Ronaldo was part of a 4-4-2 playing in midfield for United for many seasons before becoming a forward. All his PFA team of the year nomination was as a midfielder. Dont drag Ronaldo into any rubbish. He played as a winger in a 442. |

Swissh: If i call you dumb now you will say I like insulting people. What has kimbeast been explaining here since yesterday? The post below is what I responded to. Afz9095: nobody complained then because C.ronaldo was truly playing as the rmf in a 4:4:2 formation His point was that nobody complained when Ronaldo was put in midfield because he played on the right side of a 442. Read his post and then read my post again so u'll understand that my response has nothing to do with kimbeast's explanations.. |

HewlettPackard: My recommendation would be FIFA setting up a Committee to handle it, say 5-10 persons who have thorough knowledge of the game, subject to change every two years. This current voting process is massively rigged. Thorough knowledge by studying the game, coaching for a long period or having a spectacular playing career? |

HewlettPackard: Egyptian media currently some place to be at the moment. Salah edited his twitter bio. Editing off, Egyptian player whatever whatever after he found out the Egyptian journalist representative to FIFA voted Mane ahead of him. And Egyptian coach and captain votes were not disclosed, probably they too didn't vote Salah as no 1. I'd have to agree with Radamuski on this one, voting on this competition is biased, drawn across political, national and continental lines. and everyone expect it to be so, that's why Salah is pissed. Felt like betrayal. How then can the best players for that season be honoured individually if voting is not to be done? |

raumdeuter:
There is a weighing for the different league and measures the goals scored by leagues. Some are times 2, some 1.5 and some are 1
There is a Champions league where all top teams compete. What factors determine this weighing? What factors can be considered in rating one league higher than another? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by thorrvik55(m): 2:31pm On Sep 24, 2019 |
raumdeuter: Anything that has to do with voting always come with bias. So I don't trust any of them
Even if journalists are voting, those from a bola in Portugal won't vote Messi just to ensure Ronaldo wins and vice versa journalists in Argentina won't vote Ronaldo
Those that are voted by captain, If Ronaldo and Messi are in contention any teammate of Ronaldo whether at club or country who happens to be a captain might not vote Messi and vice versa
Clubs, National media and players lobby for these votes, So it basically becomes a vote of who I like against who I don't. All of us here and in the world have our biases and there are players we will not vote for
Beckham Ronaldinho retired and were still getting votes from some people. Just like in real life elections some people will always vote Buhari, Trump, Hillary, Obama etc even if he is in the hospital and on life support
I will rephrase your statement below and add
And to be honest, I actually think no award based on voting is free from the popularity contest syndrome. I think in the end it comes down to how credible the voting is.
Attackers let them be judged by goals scored and assists provided, Defensive players by the goals they prevent
You are best attacker? Show your working aka your goals and assists, you are best defender, show your working too Let's say, an attacker in Welsh league playing for The New Saints scores like 50 league goals enroute to them winning the league and another attacker playing in let's say the Italian league for Juventus scores 30 league goals. Would u say the TNS attacker should be regarded as a better forward and honoured with an award ahead of the Juventus attacker that only managed 30 goals? This ur own logic is only flawed because football is not 1+1, it's not as straight forward as u put it... |

Thecassanova: Needless tackle that led to that set piece in the first half.
Once Rudiger gets back, no more AC or Zouma in the lineup. It's a very long season. Every player has his part to play. There will definitely be injuries, suspensions, dip in form and other tins during the course of the season so u can't expect Tomori and Rudiger to start every game. |

Na only politician dem dey use ballot boxes to judge But ur performance on the field is wot will determine if u'll be considered for the ballot box award though. U won't be considered for the polling booth if u don't play well... |
