So why not apply for a driving job.. remuneration will be better than 35k/month..

If you are sure you can drive properly. Go to Zenith bank. or GT bank. Don't meet security, they have a standard response.

Approach the drivers at the driver's bay.. meet the drivers , approach the elderly ones ,state your case, they will give you OT as regards the outsourcing recruitment firm for drivers..
I hear drivers earn 120k monthly for such class of banks..

120k is way better than 35k.. You have to move brotherly, as a man, the bills won't stop coming..

Goodluck.

Nice thanks, will follow this up

The era of having a degree to get jobs is gone.. industries( that could absorb the teeming labour force) are dying off ...

Multiple skills is how you survive in a place like Nigeria..

I will give you one skill you can learn in 3 months that will put you on a salary of @ least 50k/month.
and if you have a degree , you can package yourself and take the executive offers and earn roughly 110k/month.
It's tough, but you have been too long in the comfort zone .

Sure I can learn a new skill. What do I do?

From 2008 to 2023 is 15years, the OP's calculation is wrong.

Guess I got that calculation wrong. I graduated university 2008. NYSC 2009. So from 2010 till 2023. How many years should that be.

It will be fine bro. I don't know why I feel so confident.

1. Update your CV.
2. Search for "Philips Consult" and other agencies to submit your cv to them.

I know people who got jobs via agencies.

And please, don't forget to pray to God and speak positive things to yourself always.

Thank alot. I will give this a full throttle attention. Please if I can get more of this advice, I'm sure something good will pop up before the end of this year. Thanks again

Why do you think of running your own business

Yes I have thought about it a few times. Actually I have been into fishery business when I was little and I can start with like 50pcs of fish but most times I think about the feeding. This fishes consume a lot of feed and meaning I have to chunk out specific amount of money from my salary which isn't enough. So what do u think I do in this case.

Men is really alone in this world.
If this is a woman you'd have gotten help from men. But men to men no you won't get.

My advice is look for a laptop learn any online skills, sell your service to businesses.

Or look for a product (car, phone, gadget, etc) and sell online, take pictures and post online, make your commission after each sell and also strike a deal with the owner on each sell. You can do this with your smartphone. At the end you'll make 100k above monthly at least.

Man has no helper in this country only women.

Take your destiny by force

I just ALWAYS keep my hopes high.

I can work as a logistics officer in a wholesale company with a lesser pay. This way, I can gain experience overtime and grow a carrier in department. Hopefully the next job after that can be better

Good day nairalanders, I'm a very old member of this forum and I've been more of a reader than a topic creator.
I came home from work today and I felt very empty.
A university graduate of over 23 years with a 2 year restaurant store keeper experience. The restaurant I worked at folded up after tejusoho market at Yaba was opened. Since then I've been dropping my CV at different companies to get employed. But I didn't get any call from where I submitted my CV. I decided to start a teaching job which I did for close to 8 years. I worked as a teacher in a private school located around agbado area, ogun state. But I got tired because I wasn't appreciated and more so the salary wasn't taking care of my needs. So I was introduced to a hotel job as a housekeeper. I accepted the job and since then I've been a house keeper cleaning rooms. This I have been doing for over 5years now with a 35000naira monthly pay
I now look at myself with little grey hairs on my head. Thinking.... IS THIS WHAT I WAS MADE FOR? IS THIS WHY I SCHOOLED FOR 4YEARS.

Im just so bitter. Even the hotel where I work, the store keeper position where I have an experience is being manned by a secondary school cert holder.

God please when will I get there.
I'm writing this because I know there are good hearts in this forum. Please help me get a job. I have a 2 year old kid and my wife is pregnant. Please help me.

My OP take my advice, ABEG continue betting and masturbation. But one day, nobody go give you sense to tell u to STOP both, although masturbation can't be completely stopped but I'm sure when you start to develop weak muscles around your waist that you can't manage walking a little distant. Am sure this signs will show when u enter ur 30s. Na that you go give your brain upgraded REBOOT.
This is a lesson i learnt as a chronic bettor and masturbator
Oga continue, I'm sure you will learn the HARD way

I'm a graduate who earns 35k monthly with a wife and a kid. I previously worked as a contract staff with IHS mantrac as a site auditor, but early last year the contract was terminated making me fall back to a 35k job from 200k.
My wife is still job hunting now since our child is 1year and 4months old. We manage the 35k till I get a better pay which isn't forth coming
10k----for my child staying with my mum
10k----savings
5k----food I get small side hustle which boost feeding
5k----for my mum
4k---nepa
1k--- for logistics

My work place is 200naira daily from home so I still manage from the side hustle to help out with transport fare

Health / T'challa Is Dead by thugluvfem(m): 7:18am On Aug 29, 2020
Actor Chadwick Boseman has died at 43 after battling colon cancer for four years, according to a statement posted on his Twitter account.

“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman,” the statement reads. “It was the honor of his life to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”

Boseman worked on a number of films and TV shows over the last two decades, including 42 where he portrayed iconic baseball player Jackie Robinson, James Brown in Get on Up, and Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods, but he was best known for his role as Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Boseman first took on the role as T’Challa in Marvel’s 2016 film, Captain America: Civil War, before starring in his own Black Panther film in 2018.

“Chadwick’s passing is absolutely devastating,” Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “He was our T’Challa, our Black Panther, and our dear friend. Each time he stepped on set, he radiated charisma and joy, and each time he appeared on screen, he created something truly indelible. He embodied a lot of amazing people in his work, and nobody was better at bringing great men to life. He was as smart and kind and powerful and strong as any person he portrayed. Now he takes his place alongside them as an icon for the ages.”

Our hearts are broken and our thoughts are with Chadwick Boseman’s family. Your legacy will live on forever. Rest In Peace. pic.twitter.com/DyibBLoBxz
— Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) August 29, 2020

By March 2018, Black Panther had become the 12th highest grossing movie of all time and the highest grossing movie of all time directed by a Black director (Ryan Coogler), according to Forbes. Black Panther was heralded for being one of the first mainstream, big budget superhero films to have a majority Black cast, with Boseman’s performance praised by critics. Boseman was set to reprise his role as King T’Challa in the Black Panther sequel, due out in 2022.

“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films that you have come to love so much,” the statement reads. “From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”

The statement posted on Boseman’s account noted that Boseman died with his “wife and family by his side.”

Friends, colleagues, and fans of Boseman tweeted out their own tributes to the actor, sharing memories of their time together. Some are collected below.

Personally, I own a scooter bike, a 14inch TV, a dryer an industrial pressing iron, an electric fan and a black tux suite all this accumulate to around 150k minus 100k I owe my bank and the 20k I owe my friend. I'm left with 30k. I guess 30k is my net worth. Such is life. Abeg compare this to cristiano ronaldos 1billion dollar networth
Business / Know Your Net Worth by thugluvfem(m): 5:00pm On Jun 05, 2020
Take a look at what you own—and what you owe.

You may own a car or a home—or have money in the bank. Add it all up, and it can seem substantial. But to truly know what you own, you have to factor in what you owe.

The combination of what you own (your assets) and what you owe (your liabilities) makes up your personal net worth. Knowing your net worth is important for two reasons:

It lets you understand your current financial situation.
It gives you a reference point for measuring progress toward your goals.

Ideally, as you continue to earn and save, your net worth will grow. If your net worth is low or in the red, you’ll need to work on saving more and spending less. To watch your progress, calculate your net worth now and recalculate it once or twice a year.
How to set up a personal net worth statement.

Setting up a net worth statement is as easy as creating a simple checklist and doing some basic math.

List your assets (what you own), estimate the value of each, and add up the total. Include items such as:
Money in your bank accounts
Value of your investment accounts
Your car
Market value of your home
Business interests
Personal property, such as jewelry, art, and furniture
Cash value of any insurance policies

List your liabilities (what you owe) and add up the outstanding balances. Include items such as:
Mortgage
Car loan
Credit card balance
Student loans

Subtract your liabilities from your assets to determine your personal net worth.

Nigerians are known for changing the pronouciation of a location name and these have got me thinking. Why do we have to do that? Anyways thanks to danfo drivers and conductor particularly in lagos who help to murder the pronunciation more.
For instance a place located at oke aro Ogun state(HERCULES). But it is popularly called ankulus.
There are other place in Nigeria.
