My account does average of 150debit/credit a month

So I pay average of 600naira a month for sms charges, that's 600 x12 = 7200x4yrs = 28,800. If his account is a busy account he can pay more than that.

He can get his statement of account, check to confirm though.

But i haven't been active with the accounts reason for the huge sms debit alert according to them.

So where did the accumulated sms alert come from?

Please print a statement of your account or request for it to be sent to your email registered on your account. Count your transactions from 2021 till date and multiply by N4 if it wouldn't amount to the SMS charge.
You claim not to have been using the account, your statement of account will show if you were or not.

What I'll say is write an open letter to them on all social media platform and copy CBN, EFCC. If what they said was true, I believe your attention should be called to this before deductions a chunk at once, after all they were supposed to be deducting after or during each transaction. The fact that they have your funds with them shouldn't make them behave anyhow. They need to act accordingly.

Bro i really don't understand. They claim i haven't been funding the account for a long time hence the Sms accumulation charge. If i haven't been funding the account, then how did the accumulated sms come about ? Were ghosts using my account when i was unaware?

Now see what you are going to do, firstly send them an email highlighting your problem and you need an immediate resolution towards it.

Secondly send them a DM via their twitter handle highlighting your problem as well.

I believe with these two alternatives your issue will be resolved. Remember don't relax or have the mindset to leave the money for them it is your money so follow the matter diligently.

First Bank are hardened criminals. I stopped receiving money through my first bank over a year ago. Download Standard Chartered Bank app and open an account with them. You will be glad that you did.

I can't leave this money for them. They have to pay the price no matter how long it takes. My hope is in God alone.

I've been using opay for a while now but sometimes clients prefer traditional banks over Mobile wallet to send funds
