Some accused him of hypocrisy, and of not being different from everyday Nigerian politician who eats corn on the road and fries Akara just because they are looking for votes.

But is that who Peter Obi is?

Most Nigerians will berate this because the kind of orientation they've been fed with from birth. A leader truly lead by example. A leader serves his people, a leader is a people's servant willing to go ahead to make his people better. I remember back then when I was a Christian, my pastor used to serve us food in church especially when we have any occasion in church. Peter Obi's act is one of the truest tests of a leader. I bet many other politicians can do this in Nigeria owing to their ego, yet the same ego is the enemy. This act by Peter Obi is a sneak peak of what is character is all about unlike other politicians in Nigeria.

If Nigerian citizens move to usa their currency will be dollars which is much stronger than naira.

Nigeria's population is less than usa so there would be a budget surplus if Nigerians moved there.

Despite the fact that Nigerians being in the United States with the present Nigeria government, you think they will not mess up the economy in matters of years, unlike United States citizens in Nigeria with their government, you think they will not make a headway quick? This is not about currency my brother, economy, or natural resources. It's about our mentality as a Nigeria. You will see Nigerians over there turning most of the US industries into religious houses while the US citizens turning most religious centres here into industries, therapy homes, adult homes for aged people, etc. Africans, especially Nigerians have been wired to consume not to produce. Before you know it, United States citizens will start exporting to Nigerians over there, while Nigerians will start their normal importation to feel rich, a show of classism. We don't think in this part of the world, yet it is free. We don't have patience as well, nothing like delay gratification.
