Bro, your story is quite unfortunate and I'll tell you this ...the Area manager isn't the only one that benefited from this whole saga, guess they want to make your brother the fall guy for offence he didn't commit, I want to believe he didn't commit the offense since he left sokoto and still went back willingly. Nevertheless engage human rights activists that'll help make the case to trend. Someone like @segalink @PoliceNG

You can't speak for everyone.
I think the company has rules on the way issues should be handled why wasn't any disciplinary hearing held, why wasn't his appointment terminated officially,why wasn't he given a chance to defend himself.

So after this a meeting was arranged today in thier store Sokoto

After they waited for almost 2 hours none showed up. Then the manager there came and he was asked about the meeting he said he wasn't aware he now called lukman(area manager) he said he's coming. In some mins time the police showed up in the store and arrested him.
Before he was arrested he sent this mails.

In observance of utmost good faith to my bidding and appeal, going by the correspondence I had with you, I came in for the said meeting scheduled for 10 O'clock this morning but Lukman never showed up. It was not until around 12 noon that the Investigative Police Officer came in. I've been hereby told by the Investigating officer here that, Lukman called him to inform him we have no scheduled meeting with him or our company and that the police should take it up from here.
I've tried to reach out to FC PLC to find a resolution to this continual harrassment at the hands of the police without any proper in house investigation and conclusive/ hollistic audit with allowance for the report to be defended. This last shot at me seems to be the last straw that will break the camel's back.

So we went home and we started building our lives again...... sometime last month the police called my bro to come, we told them we're not around we've gone home. Since the police couldn't see him they went to arrest his surety and charge him to court for my bro jumping bail.
Unfortunately the man was remanded for like 5 days in the prison before he could be bailed.......when my mum heard this she had to mandate us to come back to Sokoto and appear in the police station so they'll drop the case against the surety.
We got to Sokoto some days back and called the police man IPO that we're around.
Meanwhile we had contracted a lawyer,the same lawyer that stood for the surety in court. He asked us to send a mail to CR asking for what the want and also citing that he wasn't terminated,and he wasn't given a hearing at the work place, he was just taken to the police.
Attached is the mail he sent to thier lawyer after contacting his boss several times and the area manager always thwarted every effort by my bro to reach out.

Lukman yet laid another allegation that my brother who works for Fruit and Veggies colluded with me to defraud the company and this thus made it obvious to me that he was only phishing for anything to indict me on. He stopped showing up at the police station despite repeated calls by the police to show up in the hope that I will remain there for so long. I was however released on bail by the police and I stayed back in Sokoto for a month after hoping to hear from both the company and the police. I never got any invitation for hearing from FC PLC which I believe to be the standard procedure, or any correspondence at all. I later tried to get through to Lukman and Glory, the Regional Manager, but I was not able to reach them to know my fate. I waited for a month but became stranded thereafter and on getting through to the police, the police inspector in charge of my case told me that Lukman has not been serious with my case and has not called on the case. I thereafter travelled. On getting home my health deteriorated. It later came to my attention that Lukman called the police after I already left for Lagos. I informed the police that I was away. Lukman however pressurised the police to charged my bail Surety to court on the grounds that I absconded. I hereby want to state that it is my belief that if FC PLC has a legal dispute with me as an employee, there are channels and procedures to follow. I'll like to know the position of the company as this is becoming untenable and I'm being harassed daily by the police, I never stole from the store, neither have I ever converted company property for personal use. I've had several difficulties in running the Sokoto store since Lukman's appointment as area manager, which were never a problem prior to his appointment. I've had several situations in the store where imprest would not be paid for consecutive weeks, which hinders the running of the store and would leave us scrambling around trying to get products, with Lukman not unable to provide the needed support. Whenever I try to reach out to the Regional Manager he refers me back to my Line/A Manager which I understand to be the protocol. What I do in such situations is to take alternative measures to keep the store running. At no time have I ever asked for products to be sold and cash be remitted to me, nor do I take products I haven't paid for. I believe strongly that Lukman has had preconceived notions about me as he even complained about the fact that I eat the Chickwhizz meal often, which I've always paid for, while I've always wondered if working for FC PLC is expected to make me miserly. So if FC PLC believes they have a concrete dispute to resolve with me, I'm willing and available to discuss a resolution or otherwise resort to litigation. I'll not have my rights infringed upon and people around me harassed by FoodConcepts Plc and be expected to stay silent. Your prompt response to this my appeal is much anticipated.

This story is long but I'll try and touch everywhere. Please help me.

We got to Sokoto as corpers(NYSC) along the line my brother got employed in food concepts (chicken Republic) as assistant restaurant manager Sokoto branch......I think he impressed the bosses there and they made him restaurant manager in less than six months.

Now here's how the problem started

My elder brother's area manager came to arrest him.
Please house I really need help. My bro works for food concepts (chicken Republic) as the restaurant manager (RM). On Friday he went to work and his area manager came to arrest him that stock worth 2.1 million is missing.
He was detained from Friday.....not until Sunday before I could bail him.
During the course of investigation,the police found some variations. The area manager added figures to the report to make the matter a big one. So my brother in his defence requested for all the records (SIC,BIN card,stock movement, everything) to be brought to the police station and all the remaining 6 managers be brought in to for questioning,since he doesn't have direct contact with the so called stock. ( He is the restaurant manager. He has 6 shift managers under him.)
When the police started going through the records, we also found out that the shift managers has been falsifying their records, it's these records that the shift managers bring that he uses to make his report.
God helping us, the police had to release us on bail since he's been there for more than 48 hours(Friday to Sunday). The police asked everyone including all the shift managers and him(Area manager) to come on Sunday 10am for continuation he didn't show up, they called him on Monday too 10am he didn't show up.
He has been threaten with court and all this legal stuffs sha.
But we know my brother is innocent he's just out to get him.
I don't know the kind of help I should be requesting but I just thought this is the only platform I can get real help.
