I have used Exxynos powered phones and the experience was fluid. Hitherto before exposure to the different types of SOCs. One couldn't tell the difference between SD, Exxynos and MTK. My point is Exxynos isnt bad as its portrayed to be. It only isnt as powerful as its SD counterpart.

Guys, has anyone noticed that Redmi k30 comes with one of best IPS displays I have seen on any Xiaomi phone?

The display of K30 almost gives an Amoled feel.

I use Max 3, Note 8T and Redmi K30, and I have also handled other xiaomi phones with IPS display.

Theres just something different about the k30 screen which is quite noticeable the moment you turn on the phone.

That is a lie. It works fully in Nigeria but it hasn't been released for the Nigerian Market.

You have to source it from AE, a seller here would have some units soon you can keep an eye on that.

Before going to Ikeja you should have made enquiries here first. Not everyone that sells phones is well informed about phones.

I ordered a xiaomi redmi note 8 from aliexpress 2 weeks ago. Now I realise I have made a mistake.
The phone on the store was stated to be a "global rom". I mistook that to mean "global version". I did not bother to check the supported 4G/LTE bands. I dug a bit through this thread for some info before placing that order. Only this morning, while digging further on this thread I found out that there is a difference between global rom and global version. I went back to the item I orderd and checked. The phone is actually a chinese version with a global rom installed. It does not support MTN and Glo 4G/LTE bands (b7, b20 & 28). And digging further, I realise I may be slapped with a hefty customs charge during pickup. I really feel so disappointed right now. Kindly advise please.

If the processor is less power hungry you get longer lasting battery. Then optimization and UI is another huge factor too.

its not about network, i use airtel 4G and spectranet to connect and its very fast, but once am making video call with [b]whatapp, Instagram or Facebook [/b]the video quality is very poor.
