[s]It appears that the crisis within the pro-Biafra groups Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has deepened.
On Saturday, August 26, MASSOB said that Nnamdi Kanu has shaken hands with the federal government and therefore compromised the struggle to achieve an independent state of Biafra after he met with some politicians.
Accoridng to Punch, Mr Sunday Okereafor, the MASSOB National Director of Information, said in an interview that they would continue the struggle through non-violent means and they would not be deterred by IPOB.
Okereafor said:“IPOB has compromised the struggle; the IPOB leader (Nnamdi Kanu) has had a handshake with the Federal Government. He has embraced restructuring. What are we going to restructure in Nigeria? We are saying no to that.

“He (Kanu) has told the world that he has compromised and he has deceived millions of people. But we are insisting that it is Biafra or nothing. We are storming Onitsha on September 13 to celebrate our 18th anniversary.
“The IPOB leader is saying that after restructuring of Nigeria, he will abandon the struggle. He has a hidden agenda. He has access to politicians, senators and governors. He is in the struggle for his selfish interest. But we are telling the Federal Government that on Biafra we stand. No matter the intimidation, the struggle continues.”
When asked about the recent warning by President Buhari on groups clamoring for disunity, he said the President could have been referring to Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen killing and destroying people’s farmlands.
Explaining, he said:“Our struggle is based on non-violence. We (MASSOB) are not among those President (Muhammadu) Buhari mentioned that they have crossed the red lines because we have been non-violent in our struggle.
“The groups threatening Nigeria’s unity are Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, who are his brothers. Look at it now, Boko Haram is looking for autonomy and the Fulani herdsmen are not interested in the unity of Nigeria and they are killing people all over Nigeria. Yet, none of them has been prosecuted.

“We have continued to tell the Nigerian Government to hold a sovereign national conference. Must we go to war? Must we stay together in Nigeria?
"Boko Haram is saying that they want Islamic Republic and the Fulani herdsmen are going everywhere and killing people and destroying farmlands. Buhari knows who he is talking to; it cannot be MASSOB because we are non-violent.”

IPOB should stop selling a pipe dream to their zombie members, and worry more about the treason charges against their members in Nigerian court.




So IPOB wants to prosecute anonymously in the USA, but have criticized the Nigerian government for wanting to examine witnesses anonymously in the case in Nigeria against Nnamdi Kanu? Is it that the fears of the prosecution witnesses about the threat posed by IPOB terrorists in Nigeria if they give their evidence openly against the accused are irrelevant, but IPOB own fears are relevant in the USA?

Again, this is as delusional as the Jewish identity pursuit that only ended in a disgraceful rejection.[/s]

[s]This is the first time i'm hearing him speak and tbh, it's so poor. While watching this video, I stumbled on some other videos also; where he was interviewed by a Channels TV journalist, another one where he was interviewed by a German journalist and where his wife was speaking also.

My view about him: I've always respected him with the fact that he's fighting for justice towards his kinsmen but seriously speaking, Nnamdi kanu is just a not-so-wise guy, filled with hate, pride and doesn't even have a sense of good reasoning. He does not even have a blue print on how he will lead the Biafran nation to success, just fantasies - we will build Ports, we will be the best country, we will dominate Africa, we will build everything, just fantasies.

Forgetting his statement that the Yorubas as his arch enemy and even swearing with his life if he has anything to do with anything Yoruba And that he's not even oratory, just a guy just spewing hatred to a herd of sheeps, this are the few points I deduced from those 3 interviews;

1. he said, South east and South South states are part of the Biafra he's agitating for and the journalist countered him with Wike's earlier comment, He said Wike speaks for himself and that he's not speaking for river state but HE, NK is speaking for the masses. How funny.

2. When the German guy asked him if calling Nigerians animals and primitive human beings wasn't too harsh( taking that he's fighting for justice), he said that was the nicest thing he could utter and that he could say nastier things but he was being nice in calling us animals and primitive set of people; WHAT CAN WE SAY OF A MAN THAT SPEAKS THIS WAY?

3. Again, the German journalist asked why he solicited for funds and wrote to America requesting for arms and munitions, he said he's practising self defence(in a country with laws and order). After achieving Biafra, will his citizens still retain this ammunitions or will he start going house to house to collect it back. WHAT I SEE TO THIS IS THAT HE'S PROMOTING TERRORISM!

4. His wife in another interview was saying that the SE was the region feeding the North and the West. and that his husband is back in Nigeria to liberate the east.

I just wondered what type of man he really his and what he really want even if Biafra is achieved.

his followers will say Yoruba are always poke-nosing into their affairs but they won't keep mentioning Yoruba in any of their posts. If their roads are not in good conditions, Yoruba senators will be their targets. Yorubas are slaves in the nation yet they re the ones holding them back from achieving Biafra.

[s]I have said severally that somebody is seriously capitalizing on the clamor for self determination to enrich himself.

Initially he was planning war and even compared Nigeria to Somalia if he was arrested eventually, nothing came out of that. The constitution made everything clear on referendum, if with your crowd you cannot force 5 states Assemblies to push for that then you are just taking advantage of the gullible followers for you gains financially and politically, Sometimes a Biafra Passport was sold at N10,000 each, what came out of that venture? somebody's gain.

We suddenly refer to the constitution as trash? Sorry sir, that you see it as trash doesn't mean it will be trashed! Is marriage by force? Hell no! You want a divorce? There's a process! There are two ways only to achieve this;

1. The people who want out and the states who want to be part of the divorce should get their state houses of assembly to deliberate on it. Referendums done and if there's a majority against the divorce then it's dead on arrival but if the majority wants out, we write our senators and house of reps members. A bill for a split and amendment of the constitution to accommodate the split will be debated on the floor of both the upper and lower houses. If the Ayes have it, a procedure and date is arranged for the exit just like 'BREXIT'. If the 'Nays' have it everybody goes home! Or we opt for the second alternative;

2. Forceful exit (war). If those seeking exit win, fine. They go build their kingdom with streets made of gold and no corruption where every man is equal with no kidnapping, stealing etc. If those against it win, you become conquered folks yet again and the constitution rewritten yet again but this time IN BLOOD! Either way, LIVES will be lost!

Anything asides these two options, NA NOISE WE DEY MAKE as no sitting president will on his own split the country! If any tries it, the military has a duty to defend the country from internal and external enemies. That president will be seen as an enemy for violating the constitution and kicked out of aso rock. The most a president can do is discreetly lobby the National Assembly.
