Politics / Re: Should Kidnappers Be Killed by timfalomo(m): 1:58pm On Jul 21, 2010
I don't really support the act anyway. Every evil has an appropriate punishment but who will give the punishment. Those with soiled hands and garments ? You can only punish disobedience when your own obedience is complete. If they are killed, is that the best solution ? A lasting solution is what our leaders should consider and this is nothing but a change of hearts. Our leaders may think they are adequately shielded but this may just be a time bomb. How many of their family members will they carry abroad ?

Politics / Re: Will Christian Leaders bring Integrity to Nigerian Politics? by timfalomo(m): 3:15pm On Jul 20, 2010
The fact that someone goes to church does not make him/her a christian really. The fact that some self professed Christians have disappointed us does not also invalidate the word of God which declares that we are kings and priests, and we shall reign on this earth (Ref Rev 5:10). What is required of us in this country is for everyone to come together, putting aside everything that divides us and see to the well-being of this nation. Nigeria belongs to everyone of us whether we like it or not.  This is an open invitation by CPFN to the rebuilding of this nation called Nigeria. http://www.nigeriachristianpoliticalforum.com

I have observed that many christians do more of believing and talking than acting. This is quite unfortunate anyway. Whereas, the much required change in Nigeria will involve you and I. We are all leaders and we are all stakeholders in this entity called Nigeria. It is not just a responsibility for the christian leaders. I was discussing with an elderly person few days ago and he told me he was no longer interested in voting in this country. I tried to make him realize that staying away from registering and voting will only make it easier for those politicians to rig during elections. This is because they will utilize the slots of the electorates who refuse to come out and vote.

We need a lot of reorientation about politics at this point in time. The Bible refers to us as kings and priests. then why are we shying away from our kingship roles and only concentrating on the priesthood aspect. This is what Christian Political Forum-Nigeria (CPFN) is propagating now. You can log on to their site anyway. It is http://www.nigeriachristianpoliticalforum.com/

Adverts / If You Do Not Succeed In Nigeria, Who's Fault ? by timfalomo(m): 4:08pm On May 26, 2009
SUCCESS-A seven letter word almost every normal person wants to associate with. Success is simply defined as attainment of wealth, fame, or position. It is also an accomplishment of an aim or a favourable outcome.

If success is truly a state of accomplishment and actualization of ones set goals, then, why is it that some get to this state and some do not?

One of the reasons, if not the most identifiable reason why some men succeed and some don’t succeed is information available to each individual. Though, some call it knowledge.

The knowledge (or information) available to anyone can make a difference between where a man is and where he ought to be.

The information at your disposal today will determine where you will be tomorrow. No wonder scripture says that “My people are destroyed because they lack knowledge.” This knowledge is information.

The issue of success is what the link below seeks to address.
