In both cases, Buhari has had the misfortune of taking over the battered mismanaged economies from the most corrupt civilian regimes in our history, the Shagari and Jonathan's regimes respectively, after the seeds of recession that followed had already been sown by the said corrupt regimes.

If you are really that old as claimed, then you should have remembered the Umaru Dikko's, Akinloye's etc that represented the height of corruption under the Shagari regime from which Buhari took over and began making corrections e.g. locking up corrupt, politicians, introducing trade by barter, banning of importation of wheat and other non essential commodities to preserve our forex, paying off our debt after verification, introduction of war against indiscipline etc and many more, before he too was removed by the corrupt Babagida regime who went ahead to mortgage our nation through the IMF loan and its conditionalities of structural adjustment, devaluation of the Naira etc.
I need not remind you of the damage inflicted on the country's economy by Jonathan because we are all living witnesses to it, including his very public approval of corruption and unprecedented looting of our commonwealth through his infamous words, "Stealing is not Corruption"

Your inability to identify the root causes of the two referred recessions immediately preceding Buhari without recognition of his positive intervention in both cases and instead shifting the blame to him is saddening as it is also quite mind boggling - in terms of your intelligence and objectivity.

Only recently some locals were arrested for instigating the killings of some herdsmen in Abia, the story covered by AIT where the state commissioner of police, Mr Leye Oyebade, confirmed the arrest and the local indigenes as the instigators - I was expecting the story would make Front Page here but as usual to no avail.
There are also secret killings of Fulani herdsmen going on elsewhere in the south but which hardly make news; except of course if it was the reverse case, most often after the herdsmen had taken reprisal action against earlier unreported infringements against them.

Given the health Challenges that faced two of our President that is Late Umar Musa Yar 'adua and President Muhammadu Buhari, I am of the view that medical report must be introduced as a pre-requisite for contesting any public office in Nigeria.

Secondly, the constitution should be amended to make it mandatory that any person contesting for President of Nigeria must be between 40 - 60 years of age.

Any person older than 60 years should not be allowed to contest the Presidency.

I think People like Bola Tinubu, General Ibrahim Babangida, Abubakar Atiku, are far too old to contest public office in Nigeria especially the office of President.

Younger men that are youthful should be considered in our constitution.
