Sorry this is coming late its been a rough and high tensioned experience actually but thank God its all worth it.. Had my interview ystday and thank God for he has showered his goodness upon me.

Got to the embassy, passed thru diferent security checks, was 1st to get into the interview hall, which i have been avoiding coz i don't wanna be the 1st to be interviewed..but it wasn't in that order i was the fift person to be interviewed, even tho i had the 1st number for immigrant category.paid the visa fee, waited for some mins and was caled for submission of document. Waited for close to an hour b4 the CO's came to their respective windows. The eldest CO called me 2 window 13, the interview was less than 5mins ......

I was scared b4 the interview but the guy beside me was giving me confidence and i was laffin @ my self, like what's up with me....but its so unfortunate the guy was being denied coz the CO believed his waec certificate isn't original, he checked the internet and saw the result but he still wasn't convinced. He pain me 4 d guy...
That's it folks smiled out of the embassy, filled with joy. It has been what my prayers has been based on for close to a year now, i got out of the interview hall, tipped the securities and bowed to Allah for his goodness and mercies upon me. Alhamdulilai YES LORD, MarylanD here i come

mannet: @Raiders,though everyone is entitled to their opinion but no matter what u think or feel about America and the people trying to migrate to America, i can still give u good proves that America is far better than Nigeria,in fact it's incomparable becos the difference is like heaven to earth.

1. America's population is larger than Nigeria's population yet,it can manage her citizens and resources very well,if 9% of Americans are jobless then tell me the percentage of Nigerians that are jobless and you can't even compare the figures because despite our small population compare to America,we still have higher unemployment rate.and mind u those unemployed in America are on social welfare,but i could remember that Senator David Mark opposed paying unemployed graduates in Nigeria N20,000/monthly
2. National security of citizens is top priority of government in America and crimes/corruption is far less compared to Nigeria.
3. Yes people live on food stamp in America and yet they still survive are not hungry,unlike Nigeria where we have families that are not sure of the next meal.
4. If you are ready to work hard and be innovative in America u will definitely reap the reward,but in Nigeria u are not guaranteed of the reward for Hard work.
5. 70% of those rich Nigerians u are talking about got their wealth through corrupt means,an average business man has the potential of been corrupt and most big business and corporations owned by Nigerians strives and survive on corruption.e.g Dangote,Otedola,Adenuga e.t.c.
6. America is trying to make sure you are not too rich and you are not too poor(sustaining the middle class),but in Nigeria its either u are rich or poor.
7. There's no BokoHaram in America,to a large extent there's security of lives and properties.
8. The American government listens to the opinions of her citizens but Nigerian government does the opposite.
9. You can't buy the judges in America but you can buy even the Chief Justice in Nigeria.
10.No pot holes on American roads,No plane crash every 6 months
11.No power failure,power supply is 247 in America.
12.Road accidents and tanker explosion due to bad road and illiterate drivers are very minute in America compare to Nigeria.
13. No amnesty for terrorist in America,But we have Amnesty for terrorists in Nigeria.
14. Government are quick to making laws that will benefit the citizenry in America but Nigeria government are slow to implement even the smallest project,but in a hurry to implement their own personal budgets/allowances and salaries.
Finally my advise to you is to let people be,those that want to go and seek better life in America should go and if you want to remain here in Nigeria,that is your choice.Dollar does not grow on trees in America,or does it fill the streets in America.
As far as am concerned we all have different destinies,So many hardworking Nigerian in America are not necessarily rich but are living a very good life(middle class life) compared to when they were living in Nigeria.

Is my turn to testify to HIS glory,I always said that faith put god to work and faith works wonders,we got to the embassy very early before 6am we meet a lot people there,and we join them few min later the seccurity checking started and we ware move to interview hall,we gt to the hall exatly 7am but we met CO1-12 on seat atending to non immigrant there's a lot off denied there so by 8am CO 13 open his window for immigrate intervview,few min after 14 and 15 open and CO 13 caled some. For there his interview really my mind is not with him because I observ that CO 15 is holding our document and I told my wife that that the CO 15 we call us soon,so the CO check and check for almost 10 min before our number apear on his creen and he called us to his window so I was there before my wife.

kdgom66: @husmern I am sorry for your plight. I am a lawyer so I will advise you as to the legal implications of the agent's actions. You have not done anything wrong by using an agent(though it is imprudent because most are theives). You can sue them to recover all your money and your confirmation number. But believe me, it will be a waste of time and money because by September of this year, all processing will close for DV2013 winners. Legal proceedings take time and you don't have time on your side. So don't waste your money on lawyers. Having said that, you have three options: (1) you can accept your fate and pay them, (2)you can negotiate with them just to get your confirmation number and 2nd NL and make it clear to them you will do the rest of the processing yourself, or (3) you can force them into giving you the confirmation number by getting them arrested and detained with the threat of criminal prosecution. The third option is what I prefer. You don't need a lawyer. What you need is the help of a very senior policeman or policewoman. When they are detained and they are threatened to be prosecuted by the state(they have committed several offences already by what they did to you) with the police reminding them of the number of years they will spend behind bar, they will have to corporate. You can also use a military man sha.

tzetzefly: It pains me when i see people get ripped off due to their desire not to seek for knowledge. This mistake has already been made and it is said ignorance is no excuse in Law. My friend, this is no time to be physical or intimidative. The agent(s) have the edge above you for now.


Now is the time to up your game and counter attack. Let me advise you on what steps to take:

1. Go to them and demand that they open the site for you to view again, but meanwhile, go along with a smart friend who probably know your current plight. When your Case Number is being inputed in the DV site, you or your friend should pretend you are browsing or using your phone what ever reason you can think of but instead, you should be recording the Case Number on the screen. The mobile device has a zooming capabilities no need to get real close. Now is the time to become a professional. At least two of you cannot miss the numbers at the same time. You can add a lady too to spice up the game and give you more advantage. Pretend as if all of you are returning from a journey outside town with lugage to show.

2. If the first option fails, now is the time to go all out and attack. I suggest you go the military way. If you have any family friend or brother or friend who is a soldier, plead with him and take him along he knows how many of his kind to involve. The rest will be history. Mind you, prepare to forfeit the monies you have expended so far in case the two option fails.

The agents loses and you also lose. You're the Principal Applicant and the Case Number is useless to them without you.

See wat ĩ̷̊ ll advise U̶̲̥̅̊ to do is call kcc and tell them U̶̲̥̅̊ want to change ur email. they may ask ♡̷̷̷̷̷̷̷ƒ ur cN and if they ask U̶̲̥̅̊ can tell them U̶̲̥̅̊ play †ђξ lottery true an agent dat they use ther email nt yours,maybe they can hlp U̶̲̥̅̊ with ur CN.... jidex001: This agent are so wicked, maybe u should call KCC and explain all this to them and see if they can do anytin . TeLl them u will send ur datapage of your passport and u request to change the email address and help you with the comfirmation number and also if you have any document you have signed with them u can also forward same to them too. Because I have a feeling that they won't want to negoitate with u and u might even pay more than a million naira.

NOTE: I am just saying u shld just give it a try to call KCC. Because their is no arm in trying.
