Politics › Re: Pdp Is Part Of Us In South South: Ask Amaechi And Dakuku by TippyTop(m): 8:41am On Mar 20, 2016
Dimienedonkz:
PDP is a way of life and invariably part of our culture in south south. I know some persons will say pdp is corrupt therefore we are all corrupt. Fine by me if anyone insinuates that for the following reasons;

1. PDP gave us the sense of belonging in Nigeria.
2. PDP never termed us 5% as apc did in far away USA via their President.
3. PDP gave us the opportunity to have the number 1 citizenof the FRN.
4. PDP gave us amnesty gave the Ijaw man from 1999 to 2015 3 ministers but apc gave us just 1.

If I should continue it means I won't go to church today so dudes later.

A proud son of the Ijaw nation and proudly 5%
Bros you speak the minds of most of us in the SS, nice one.

Even if,thats a big if,pdp wins majority seats in these re- run,its obvious that these were closely fought elections.
Where pdp to win, early results show it wudnt be the moonslides of all elections held since 1999 in Rivers.
That, perhaps for the first time, votes in Rivers count is the most important and most significant thing all should take away from these elections.
Kudos to INEC,eventhough there were shortcomings and they can do much better, kudos to PMB for gradually taking us to d point where votes trully count.
From Kogi,to Bayelsa,to Akwa Ibom and now Rivers, even with the violence and inconclusiveness of some, the results have largely reflected the verdict of the electorate and in all cases, margins of victory have been close.
We can only improve by encouraging all those that have been doing their best to give nigeria credible elections.

OlujobaSamuel:
Distinguishing precedent on legal (rather than fact)
grounds
A precedent does not bind a court if it finds there was
a lack of care in the original "Per Incuriam". For
example, if a statutory provision or precedent had not
been brought to the previous court's attention before
its decision, the precedent would not be binding.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precedent

Judicial precedent applies to a court if the precedent was set by a superior court or that same court so as to ensure consistency.
In the case at hand, the prosecuting counsel argued that the precedent was set in error(per incuriam), since the judgment was made in error, the court could not be bound by it.
I think if there is no statute of limitation as to appeal, then the CCB should go ahead to appeal tinubu's case, however that would be difficult except the counsel to the CCB argued it then(that the Act that backs invitations and clarification is that of 1978 & not 1999), then I see no way the CCB can win that case, because a shoddy job was done then.
Jacob(SAN) is getting it right by blocking every loopholes to avoid an escape route for the suspect and subsequent suspects.
[/s]

They both commited same offence.
Stop justifying Tinubu's Thievery.

APC is causing violence in Rivers State so fed govt can declare state of emergency.

APC's intentions are clear, cause enough chaos and the elections are declared inconclusive.
Option B is to rig with the help of soldiers.

Memo to APC,
Rivers want transformation not body odour, body odour politics belong in the north.

How Amaechi might look tomorrow if his rigging plans fail. Check below
