agents use passport that are 2 years old(er) which haven't been used b4 in dv application and it gets accepted and people actually win. but judging from the site photo instructions which stated that passport used for the registration shouldn't be older than six months. is ur choice. but 4 me i vote u take a new one.

no u cant, u will be disqualified. and if u win at the embassy u will be disqualifies too.

ImpactWorld: @ all, pls when ur passport is accepted thru the photo validation tool on the official website, does that guarantee ur photo meets all requirements?

no. the photo validator cant tell u if u have a shadow on ur face or if the contrast is too high. it only accepts the 600*600 size photo and nt less

what u filled means u havent finished high school. u should have put high school degree and nt some high sch deg. u have made a terrible mistake there.

I just called KCC, and the lady told me that selection was carried out on 22nd of October, and additional winners selected.

The KCC lady just told me that 10,000 new winners were selected on 22nd October. On asking how many of them belonged to which region, she said that they don't have that information. All that they know is that 10,000 winners were indeed selected on 22nd October. Now it is upto you to guess and divide this figure of 10,000 among the regions. I think Africa and Asia would get the largest share.

Best of luck for the next draw, or rather the next time they reveal more winners.

Tell me she's in a state, Federal or any of the renowned Private universities and I will label your claims as false.

federal infact uniport and she has graduated. even one of her friend used same thing i remember they both sat for waec/neco back in 2004 together. while my friend who used waec/neco 2006 is in n.d.u. and none of them is in same dept.

Gentiger: My brother, you cannot combine WAEC/NECO to achieve 5 credits. I doesn't work that way. When you say 'YOU THINK' that's a statement of uncertainty, one that is not fool-proof. It's either you don't know or not sure. They follow the basic Nigerian University admission requirements to determine minimum eligibility. Just as no Nigerian University will accept a combination of WAEC/NECO to admit a student irrespective of credit passes in maths and English, neither will the embassy.

my sister used both waec and neco to enter her university just like my friend who got admission last year.

THAT ONE IS DONE WHEN U ARE IN THE US ON A TEMPORARY VISA, U CAN SIMPLY ADJUST UR STATUS TO A PERMANENT ONE.

YOU CAN ONLY PAY THE VISA FEE ON THE DAY OF YOUR INTERVIEW AND YES THE PAYMENT CAN ONLY BE DONE @THE EMBASSY. THAT IS IF YOU ARE DOING CONSULAR PROCESSING AND NT ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS.

Its been weeks of anxiety and i must strongly thank you all for your support esp Kemzone2003 and adesoji.

Coming into US tru texas with expired medicals isnt advisable. Though other cities might over look it but Texas wont. Apart from medical issues,Texas dont start processing of SSN for you until after 21days. I was at sola sola office last week and a lady from Nigeria was asked to come back after 21days before she can apply.

The issue i had with medicals had cost me time and money and i dont wish any one of you fall into my situation especially when you have hosts who arent accommodating. My host have been very helpful,he keeps telling me to relax,eat and sleep until i get my SSN and GC. Apart from my medicals,i havent spent a dollar of the money i brought to US for anything. I pray you all coming to US will have a host like mine.
