ferdiii: Thanks.It is him ohh. Okay October will be fine for him. He wants to leave Nigeria this year. he has a clean O'level. I know he will make unlike the other one last time out that hid his O'level result from me and got thrown out at the embassy because of a pass in English Language.

Secondly I sent only DSP-122 in June... Initially, I tot DS-230, Part I and II is meant for a couples with children and not for single selectee before I later discover that I need to fill DS-230. So I called KCC and I was told to send DS-230, Part I and II that they will include it to the first form I sent. On DS-230 I wrote 08-17-2012 instead of 07-17-2012. Hope I gat no problem and when likely should I be expecting interview 2013AF00004***? Thanks So Much

Personally I have never seen any case like this before, kcc needs to verify and process the forms sent to them before sending it to Lagos us embassy where verification is done properly (question, verification and confirmation) during the interview with the applicant. But you are at liberty to email or call kcc and ask them if you can bring the passport with you on the day of your interview stating it to them that it was written on their site, and you acted accordingly to what was written on the site. Since you are a single applicant and the passport you are taking to the interview matches your face and resembles the one on the original application form (aka the dv registration) and you have a good backup story (like the website thing you mentioned) concerning why u didn’t send the passport photographs with the forms, you have got no problem sir. but to be on the safe side, i advice you call or email kcc and ask them if they have received and compiled both of the forms you sent to them. Otherwise you should send a new form to them with your passport intact. your interview is In October this year.

yes you can attach it to the mail to clarify your statement. it will be like an evidence to prove your plea to them concerning the change of her DOB.

As in how, were you a single applicant when you applied and you got married after you sent the forms? if you didn't get married no problem because copies of your documents will only be presented by you on the day of your interview. But if you did get married you need to send them a copy of your marriage certificate stating that you are married.

why not email kcc and tell them that you made such a mistake on the forms you sent back to them and you would like it if they could correct the mistake for you, remember to state the correct date of birth of your child in the mail, also remember to indicate the case number and date of birth of the winner of the dvlottery before you start typing the mail, if not they will not reply or comply to you mail.

I'm one of the lucky selectees for 2013 lottery but yet to send my DS-230 and DSP-122 form because I'm still tidying up the information provided on the forms. Please I want to ask if I'm not late at submitting these forms and I wish to ask if the 2"x 2" passport should be glued or stapled to the forms? Do I need to script my name at the back of these passports before attaching to the forms? Please I also need to know the exact deadline for submission of the forms.

hi, welcome to the forum , first of all its not too late although it depends on your case number, but its not too late to send your forms. no don't glue the passport to the forms, just attached it in a smaller envelop and put it in the bigger envelop with the dsp-122 and ds-230 forms. if you want you can just put it inside like that without the small envelop. write your case number and date of birth on the back of both passport. when a form is submitted to DOS it takes 3 to 4 months before it is processed and scheduled for interview. so you need to act wisely since interview ends 30th of September 2013. if it take 3-4 months for DOS to processed your forms, you need to send your form back not later than April - may next year. but if i were you i would send it earlier. better safe than sorry since there mite be another draw in October.

Well she needs to start her medicals b4 the interview. if she has already started it and it has not been concluded yet, she can get a report from the hospital stating she has started her medical. when she gets the report she can go to the embassy with it during the date of the interview. but i advice she gets her medicals ready before the interview if not the CO might settle for another interview appointment with the completed report.

police report some people said they did it for 5k, some said 8k, while others said 10k. so just keep 10k at hand for the police report to be on the safe side.
well in the forms that you will send back to KCC you need a united states address so that they can send you your welcome letter, ssn and gc when you arrive in the united states. so you definitely need a US address. try reaching out to people you know to give you one when you start filling the forms, but if you have not listed any on the forms you sent back to kcc, it will be requested from you on the day of your interview. medicals is 25k, the visa fee is $330, international passport is 16-18k but just hole 20k when going to the office just in case it is higher. passport needs to be valid for sixty days means you need a passport that is current, that shows your face for what it is now. your medical and police report needs to be done in Lagos, but you can do your international passport and npc aka birth certificate, passport anywhere you are in nigeria. hope these clarifies everything @road boy. thanks

Enlightened1: Congrats to all DV13 winners, may God grant you guys successful interview. I was among the unlucky DV 12 winners, that won and had their winning rescinded due the computer glitch, I didn't win in the redraw, and also haven't won this year own. I heard more result will be published this October, so I'll check hopefully i win.. And a message to winners of this year, have it in the back of your mind that because you've won the lottery, it doesn't mean you've automatically gotten Visa. And secondly not everybody who wins and will be given the Visa after the interview, some people will be denied. So have that in mind, for those of you that choosed High school as highest qualification obtained go back and revise, because they might ask you one or two question in the subject you did well in O'levels. I read somewhere on forums.immigrations.com how a woman was refused visa just because she couldn't defend her o'levels result. The question according to her and I quote " What is crop rotation"? She wasn't able to answer and that was basis for refusal of issuance of the visa. BSC holders they might ask question on your project topics.. Just prepare very well for the interview, leave no area uncovered. Overall I am wishing you guys the best of luck and journey mercies to Obama land.

Yes you go with the money on the day of the interview. Go with Naira, they sometimes reject some dollar bills given to them if u go with dollar. so is better u go with the approximate exchange of $330 in our currency. better safe than sorry.

hello @road boy i replied to your email same day u sent it me on the 17th of this month.
1) high school or university cert or your transcript if you have not graduated from the university,
2) birth cert,
3) medical report,
4) police report,
5) international passport,
6) 2 passport taken within 60 days
7) A full face photograph, better make it 2 full face photograph.
Nigerian don't need affidavit of support
These are the documents you need to go to the embassy with during the day of your interview.
concerning accommodation if you are a single applicant i dont think you can accommodate anybody else. except you talking about maybe you having a sponsor in the us that wants to accommodate you. plz throw some light on that so that i can explain to you better. thanks

temmytanny: Dont confuse yourself about bulletin,just look out for mail from KCC about your interview. I dint know anything about bulletin when i received my interview date in 2011

@tammytenny i got that info from WWW.forums.immigration.com, most people there on dv2010 to 2011 thread made that kind of inquiry and got the same answer i gave her, but your's seems better but i think she should also keep the bulletin as backup just in case she got no email from kcc.

Or is it that whenever you receive your 2ND NL, you're automatically current for an interview in the same Month?
Or after the 2ND NL, then you'll keep checking the Visa Bullitee to determine your case.

your answer is somehow the number 3 of your question. KCC will notify you 3-4 weeks prior to the date of your interview with your 2nd Nl, all you have to do is keep checking on the visa bulletin page and call KCC when you see your case number is current (on the visa bulletin page) to ask for the day the interview will be held for your case. hope this helps.

first of all am not a boy, am a girl. case numbers are assigned to winners in the seven region with Africa taking the Af0000036 part, so since you are in Nigeria u fall in the Africa region. a case number is given to each person in other for D.O.S to be able to identify each winners and know how to allocate visa's for each region. when a case number is current, it means that an interview has been set for persons that fall beyond the number mention ( example for Africa 33000 except Egypt 12000, Nigeria 29000 and Ethiopia 33000) to come to the embassy to see if they are eligible for the attainment of the visa's issued.
