i wudnt say its a bad move 4him as ikechukwu is equally talented & wit all due respect tho not too old in d industry, no small artist. talkin about mo' hitz promoting jst d'banj and according to u "small promo giving to wande coal", u'll agree wit me d@ d'banj is one of naija's biggest acts ds era and he commands huge units in d market. so der's nothin bad in dem directin more of their resource to promoting him. w.c. is argueably his closest rival on d label & considering d rave he generated from his debut album, he sure will get more & more roundz 4rm d label, jst lyk anyoda company, no1 will invest in a somtin dey arent sure of gettin bountiful returnz. so long as i.k. kipz on makin hitz, he will definitely get more support and promo from his nu label, not a bad move @ all!

   i really dont know if anyone here has experienced it; the bridge flying over mile2 (lagos-badagry xpres) is seriously vibrating putting many lifes at risk as it's a very busy road coupled with the heavy traffic synonymous with it and the heavy duty trucks plying that route. This should be treated as an emergency,  i only hope and pray our government pays attention to it not soon but now!!!

    I see alot of sense in your post and agree with you in all but onething. that been that mode9 doesnt want to be a commercial wonder. Let me start by saying that even in the US where Rap is believed to have got its origin, rappers who are not after commercial success as they claim are at least living what you can term as HIGH STANDARD though, they might not be able to  buy or afford things that their counterparts can they are still ok. Imagine ruggedman saying mode doesnt have a car & stuff. that should have been the last thing for rugged to say if otherwise. I don't mean no disrespect but looking at mode9 one can tell he's (successwise) no where near the likes of even the young folks who met him in the game. have you ever thought it that how many concerts or shows mode get invited to perfom? (i stand to be corrected).
  Rakim, nuc turner, ice cube, dr dre even nas are hardline punchers but enjoyed commercial success at on point in their carriers even if they were not able to move units like the likes of 2pac & biggie did. I bet you know Rakim is i think, termed the best rapper of all time. If mode knows he isnt after commercial success i advice he uses his influence to get something lucrative that will at least deviate words like he has no car away. my brother no b beta thing at all.  Abi him go talk say him no like money or good life? i guess not because thats onething hip hop stars are known 4 "living the good life". I will say these same things if mode were my blood brother.
speaking my opinion herein,

M.I in my opinion stands out of all naija rappers; he's got rhymes, flows, lyrics mehn! he can even produce. listen to d way he toys with common words & make 'em sound so sweet to the ear. he also sings. he is very versatile hence, a complete package,

Naeto is good no doubt; can produce, do some singing but in my opinion not as good as M.I

Mode is just as good but him grammar dey 2much. na d same school him attend with okotie?, (kidding)

not 4getin Ikechukwu, he is equally good plus d broda can sing

I think at this junction "Blaise" deserves to be given props 2. tho, she yet to release an album; she has proofed time & over that she's one of naija's best. loved her verse on M.I's "BLAZE". it was ish!,

odaz like: Eldee, freestyle, sasha, sauce kid, 2short, 6fut +, ruggedman, jesse, ice prince, da green, kel, illbliss etc are equalling doing well 2.

NB: I believe there's still a place for improvments in what they all do. which ranks from sound production (e.g eldee's album was relatively low) and video
production too. but hopefully we'll get there soon. dey can't do it alone, support naija music!!!

Also that her song "ekundayo", is she related to the old woman the song was about or was she raised by the woman. coz watching the making of the video i cud see the old woman recognizes her? i propose that our boys stay level headed and focused. the match against belgium isnt going to come easy don't forget that prior to their quater final match against italy, italy had not conceeded any goal at all. haven said that, it has come to my notice that in every match the belgians have played in at this olympic games at least 1 player was issued with a red card. siasia has a God given talent of leadership and i pray the good lord grants him the knowledge and understanding on how to conquer.  go boys!!!
