Toks(2008). I totally disagree with you. God says I will remove the stony heart and give man a heart of flesh. I will write my laws in their heart. God has given every man conscience, dis is like a checkmate. If u do a thing now, the conscience in you will tell you if it is right or wrong. It is when you give justifications overtime to such act that your conscience tends to keeps shut. We are the sons of God, and we should be led by the Spirit of God. The Spirit correct, punish, direct, instruct etc. What thing do u want to do in life that you can't ask d Holy Spirit? Must of the points you made are justification to commit sin. You say you need scriptural backing. Do you need a scriptural backing to be educated? I would rather advice you to change the heading of this thread to views about those things you listed. In summary, you contradicted your claim by saying bad habits is different from sinful acts. When something is called bad what comes to your mind? And if something is bad, what does it implies? Will such things lead someone to heaven or encourage sinner to come to Christ? If you can answer this questions, I believe you will agree with my own point of view that whatever is bad is sinful. Why go far? When the answer is near. In us God has given us a conscience. For every first step you take? Is your conscience giving you a nod? My own opinion to this matter, how can you differentiate a believer and an unbeliever today? The early Christians were called christ like because they behave like christ. Be not be ignorant of the devices of the devil. Sin is sin either great or small. To make matter worst, little things count. Why al these things is important to note is because of one single aim, and which is entering the kingdom of God. Our lives shall be searched thoroughly and if there is any iorta of sin. My brother and sister, u knw wat dat means. To say the truth of the matter, this our so called pastors, many will go to he'll, because they refuse to tell you the truth on how to live a christian life. Buh wat you hear from them these days is "go and prosper". The bible said seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and every other things shall be added unto you. God knws your heart. Why not do His will and see if he will not do that you ve desired before you ask him. In summary, what is your conscience telling you? Our major aim is to make heaven as Christians. Let's set our focus right. May God help us all. AMEN. |
