Family › Re: Shocking!!! What I Observed About Secondary School Students by tk003(m): 1:28pm On Feb 20, 2025 |
lovediehatelive: 9:30 AM, secondary school girls walking relaxed like they're strolling, gisting, pausing on the way, no sense of urgency.
They're very late but still not showing signs of hurrying up. Not once, not twice, almost every day.
I mean why going to school so late?
Yes, it's prevalent amongst public schools, government schools. But even private schools have joined in this madness.
Parents are not helping matters at all. You'll see a parent taking their children to school by 9 am, almost everyday.
17-20 years ago you can't try this sheet in government schools not to talk about private schools.
So just wondering, has the time for school changed? Sad! It is something that has become of the exponential decrease in our moral values as society. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why Are Tech Jobs Difficult To Get? by tk003(m): 9:30pm On Feb 19, 2025 |
Acidosis: Does Nigeria really have a viable tech sector, or is it just people in tech-inscribed T-shirts with laptops hopping from one remote work hub to the next? I mean, our tech industry is basically a glorified game of "brilliant minds" with Wi-Fi.
When we're actually ready for a real tech industry, we'll be calling on the government to build a proper industrialised environment for real tech companies - think mobile phone manufacturers, satellite companies, robot factories - basically, places with actual addresses, not just free Wi-Fi and coffee.
How can we talk about a tech industry when we still import ordinary POS machines? What is you people's idea of tech? Free WiFi, website design, coding, and crypto? Walai, we are not ready.
As always, we always want to jump the process. How can we talk about modern day tech without proper industrialisation? After learning to code, what next? Look around you, apart from banks, who your coding help? Schools still struggling to pay minimum wage or market women?? Walahi we are not ready Sir...😊 |

It's too narrow for the kind traffic that flows through plus it without parking spaces or pedestrians walk. Year in, year out people responsible for fixing it are just eating blood money. Because all those bloods in on their hands. |

I should be able to raise 150 chicken every year. 😁😁.....It really crazy when one sit down and analyze all these things. America will ever remain untop and better , soon China trade and bet road will fail. I support Brics formation but will never dump West for Brics countries may be because of there authoritarian system governance, I prefer democratic settings. Putin wiped all opposition's against him before our very eyes . North Korea did same We saw on set how Xi securities dragged an ex Chinese President out of a very important political conference. Iran equals worst amongst them And so goes to almost 80% nation's involved in BRICS formation and if they become successful these political leaders will never hand over power to no body again and the world will go back to Authoritarian System of govt. Where one man decision is the highest authority and law. You claimed you don't want authoritarian system where "one man" decision is the highest authority, yet you seem to be okay with another "one man" currency being place over all other several men currencies. Thereby giving them exclusive power to intimidate and bully whosoever doesn't agree with them. Is that right? |

The youth corper who is their President is being derided daily. Nothing is working there apart from the photographers snapping the President.
Since the US withdrew, the Islamist militants have taken a greater part of Burkina Faso. Even Russians are being killed there. Just 2 weeks ago, soldiers abdicated from their responsibility and it was civilians digging trenches.
The fugitive called Yahya Bello is far far better than the Burkina Faso President. At least, under Yahya Bello, kidnappers saw shege in Kogi. People with mind set as yours are the reason Africa is tied in this circle of neocolonialism. SMH. |

Politics › What Exactly Does Nigerian Politicians Do For The Masses? by tk003(op): 9:21pm On Apr 29, 2024 |
Sometimes I just sit and wonder what exactly is the use of our politicians because almost all of them operates far bellow average.
Someone will be a Governor for 8 years and no any meaningful development both in capital or human derived afterwards from his governance. What exactly did he do for those 8 years? Enriching himself? Some can't even pay full salary to workers for their 8 years of governance but their own salaries and exurbitant allowances will be paid to them in full. Some even alloted pensions for themselves at the end of their gross mismanagement and incompetent governance.
Talk of Rep. members, some of them have expensive cars bought with looted funds whose worth is enough to sink boreholes in every nooks and cranies of their constituencies, renovates schools, build clinics, e.tc. Or is it Ministers that will loot every Kobo alloted to them to carryout works or projects. What exactly do we have these people for?
No good roads, no adequately equipped hospital - I saw a post earlier on where a teaching hospital MRI machine has been faulty in Oyo State and it just left to be like that. And you will be surprised if the government of this said state is to be investigated, you will be surprised how many MRI machines is in the pocket of someone in that goverment.
In another state a governor is said to have stolen N80B. And it's the same looting in going on in almost all states. How many projects will N80B covers in a state? How many schools will it renovate? How many years of outstanding gratuities of retired workers will it pay?
No water, no light, dirty streets. Infact they failed in providing adequate security in the Nation they loot so much from. It's like they want to finish looting and run away. I just can't comprehend.
What exactly is the use of these politicians?

I just read how many thousands of people Israel killed in the war and it got me thinking... Why did Hamas start the war again in the first place
This war started years back, each fight, Israel kill the most of them, yet they are not tired of initiating the war again and again.
The truth is, even if this war comes to an end, the children who watched their parents die, or a brother who watched his brother die, will want to initiate the war in few years time, as it has always been.
Humans have the spirit of retaliation. It will take great forgiveness by the people this war affected, before the war can permanently come to an end. You just read how many thousands of people Israel killed in the war and it got you thinking... Why did Hamas start the war again in the first place?. And you never also give a thought why is Israel allowed to kill so many innocents including children and women and is even being praised by some so called "democracy" and "Peace" lovers? Or why would Israel occupy Palestine in the first place and force them to live in an highly inhumane conditions. Hamas didn't start the war, Israel did. |
