The major difference between Buhari and GEJ is

GEJ listening ears makes him a times yield to things he knows are not right just to carry everyone along

Buhari on the other hand would pursue a course once his mind is made up. Even when the all world is begging him to change course.

update: please help.my supplier still reactivated my alredy cancelled order for the 3rd time with no explanation,yet he hasnt shipped. after several messages i sent threatening to give a terrible feedback,he now replied me suggesting that i should lie about the reason for cancellation,before he can approve it and refund me. he said i should say that "buyer do not want this order"...this guy is acting like he is doing me a favour and seems not concerned.

if u r certain they would accept u, just chill till NYSC posts u, then u can get a letter of acceptance from the company........ It's not hard so far they want u

even if u don't get posted there, u can always repost tru the Lgi by getting letter of acceptance from the company, it's very easy..... But if u have the letter in most cases they don't honor it unless u have an insider that cn put pressure on them.. U can tlk to any official u think is approachable.....

The person who cld be of help to u is 'Mrs Joke Fashola'. She is the Zonal Inspector for Ota zone. Try looking for her on camp there. Goodluck

Looking for a trustworthy and reliable nysc official is the issue now, all platoon officers are local govt inspectors. Moreso cld u tell whr the local govt is located so i cld look up the inspector in charge of the area for u. Then u cld look for the person and liase while in camp b4 d posting comes out.

Try working it to the local govt whr d coy is, if u're in d LG ur work is 85% done. All dat cld happen afterwards is dat u get posted to a schl or the coy of ur choice. Buh if d coy of ur choice doesnt show up on ur posting letter, u shld calmly go to whr u've been posted explaining to them why u cant serve in their establishment. Do this politely after which if successful u wld be given a rejection leta(make sure d letter states that the org doesnt need ur services not that u requested to be rejected). Then the ball lies in ur court and ur opponent now is the local govt inspector(lgi). U nid to convince d lgi that u have a request leta from an org and ensure she works on that for ur new posting letter or else the lgi can repost u to somewhr u may not like again and the whole circle starts allover. Heads up as u guys (15A) get to camp or are already at sagamu orientation camp.
The camp has one of the best facilities as regards corpers welfare (i.e hostels, friendly nysc camp officials e.t.c)
After the first week of parade, otondos are now eligible to join groups like the nysc band, red cross, sports committee etc). These group provide an escape route for those who want to skip parade and also for those who want to follow their passion. I was a member of the nysc band out of passion during my time as a corper. Those who make the band after rigorous training will retain the band as their CDS after the orientation exercise. Most members of the band like 65%make it to Abeokuta(abk) becos band members base is at abk and it's only in abk u can have the band as ur CDS.
So many pple like the soldiers and other security operatives wld deceive so many pple into believing that they cld influence your posting to a place of ur choice, it doesnt work out so 95% of the time. The only pple that can influence posting (tho not 100%) are the nysc camp officials (i.e platoon officers and those in the admin building).
I served in Ikenne LG batch 14A, babcock university precisely. I wouldnt advice those looking at babcock uni as a possible PPA to go that way cos the place is full of stress as the work corpers are made to do is 'courier'. U carry mail from one dept to anoda while trekking round the schl. The only benefit are free wireless and that they pay 10k which when u analyse cant compensate for the stress u've gone through. Plus u resume work @7.30am, sign in which ends at 7.55am and attend the compulsory chapel which ends @ 8.30am, u close for the day @5pm after dispatching mails under the sun or in the rain as the nysc anthem says. Any day u miss work for any reason and it geys to the knowledge of the Director HR, ur salary will be deducted.
If I may suggest, Animal care consult in iperu-remo Ikenne LG is a better option when it comes to welfare and pay. It is a poultry farm. They pay 20k plus accomodation and lunch + eggs.
But if u are looking for a place near lagos then Ifo LG and Otta LG is the LG to be in.
Dont mind my lenghty post o, was in the mood for it.

To me, govt parastatals like ministries nd local govts make sense as dey don't stress u too much nd u even av enof time for ur self unlike private coys/schools dat will drain d last sweat in u..
It all depends on ur rapport wit ur employer sha, all d same I'm wishing u da best ppa

I'm batch b, hoping to pass out in two months, by God's grace (can't wait).
Just pray for ur posting after camp.. Some get nice places while others don't. I, for one, didn't get a nice place but I'm consoled with the fact that it's not too far from home (Ogijo to Ikorodu @least with #250 I can travel home)..
Just put everything in prayers nd hope for the best.. I'll advice u not to try to influence ur posting, especially if u don't av a strong ally (NYSC Official). Many camp officials will try to extort money from u all in d name of promising u a nice place of primary assignment, but most of dem are scams... Don't fall for it so dat u don't end up regretting when tinz go wrong (I saw many of such cases back den in camp)..
All d best ladies nd gentlemen.. Just be calm, don't play dirty, remember to pray always nd let God have HIS way!!
