You are looking at this from a very narrow end of it.. A medical doctor in Nigeria will earn way more in the west.
Even the so called menial jobs like a garbage man or mail man or a waiter that pay less than $ 50 here pay you much more than that , plus your quality of life will definitely improve. Just make sure you follow a legal means. Don't go through Libya , risking your life only to end up on the street of Europe or even worse , a detention center. |

KnowOriginal: Guys, please I need your advise.
I have this 4-faced hot plate I use in my kitchen. In my previous apartment, i could plug in the plug of the hot plate into the socket on the wall (similar to the one shown in one the attached pics), but it damaged the socket badly till it stopped working. I had to pack up the hot plate. I have now moved to a new apartment, so I got a multi-purpose fuse/socket (pic attached) and plugged in the hot plate before plugging it directly to the socket on the wall, but in less than 10mins, it has already started melting the fuse. I just tire.
Has anyone experienced this before? How did you go about resolving it? Thanks. Buy a 15Amp 3-pin plug and cut off the the 2-pin plug on the cooker. Plug it directly in to the wall. The adaptor your are using can't take the heat.

Simran94: So, we have a Toyota Corolla 2008 gold in my compound, it's not scrap, not old, not rickety, not smoky and not an accident car, it's works fine but not clean per say, might need a body spray and engine sounds cranky. It's been parked for a while like 2 years in our compound with no one using it. All documents available.
How much can we sell it? Get a mechanic to check it and value it for you. |

pappilo: I am not into telecoms but I just wonder where and how these telcos are going to recoup the money spent on these licenses.
5G is really just a value added service and not revolutionary (yet) as claimed or sold The telcos will still have the same subscribers and the same growth rate, maybe a little higher but nothing to justify the high fees.
5G will be a decent revenue earner for them if it can provide constant high speed internet which can replace home broadband. If the anecdotal evidence from my friends and I in the western capital city I am based in is anything to go by, then I cant see that happening anytime soon.
So can anyone in the know educate me? Please dont tell me of all the nice things 5G will do in the future, tell me what it can do in the medium term (next 5yrs) They will make their profit over time . In Nigeria , we have very few high speed ISPs , so MTN can offer 5G to biznesses and homes and 5G has a much higher Utilisation that 4G , so it can accommodate more users while maintaining high upload and download speeds New Zealand population is about 5million plus. The 5G license in India for 1megahrtz is over 67million dollars . MTN has millions of customers in Nigeria, prices of 5G phones are coming down and they will surely be selling routers with 5G speed soon. |
