I can relate..
E no easy..
Try as much as possible to delagate duties to your trusted friends and siblings.
Very importantly, make a list of what you want and let it fit in to your budget. If your parents are inviting people, make sure they are ready to cater for them. Try to samples as many vendors as possible to get the best price . relax your mind as much as you can.
run things by your man , especially if it involve money that he needs to pay.
Find time to breath...
God will bless your wedding and family . |

Adekunlebright: They re both good but corrola has second hand value than Honda. They re both economical. Honda legs are too flexible, it'll frustrate u in some Nigeria roads. Civic legs no dey pull.. even for accords it is more common with 203-207 models. Newer models don't pull unless you fail to maintain your car. Same will happen to any car if you don't maintain it |

FG surely can't generate enough power for the country with the current model. |
Education › Re: Ondo State University Students To Pay N2.245m As Tuition Fees by tmtech: 4:03pm On Nov 09, 2021 |
Ayemileto: All this things you stated still falls under bad government policies and corruption.
Take for example, why will electricity generation be on the "exclusive list" - which means only federal government can generate power.
As a private organisation, if you generate above 25MW, you will be required to direct it to National Grid.
And the National Grid does not have enough capacity to distribute all the power being generated (as a matter of fact, most generating companies in Nigeria generate Below their Capacity because DISCOS don't have the capacity to distribute.)
2. State Owned companies failed, not because they aren't run like private, but mostly because of corruption.
Imagine most of those who looted Nigeria Airways are currently in government. Many of them even founded their own airline after killing Nigeria airways.
With all the investigations that followed suit, and the report indicting people, No one has been prosecuted so far.
I do agree with you that we have to go industrial, as we can't just be exporting raw materials, but this will only be possible if government makes policies that support industrialisation.
It's the responsibility of the government to make policies that will support industrialisation bring investors into the country.
But so far, How many investor - friendly policy have the government made?
How easy is it to get a License to start a company, without bribing people?
How easy is it to start a company without getting killed by multiple taxation and bad government policies?
Like I said earlier, we are where we are today because of bad government policies and corruption.
If good policies have been brought up and implemented along the line, we won't be here today, and funding would never be an issue.
Good day. God bless you .. Impunity is what is killing us No body is held accountable for the failure of the system.. The entire system failed due to poor governance .. No matter the budget , someone must loot the money and get away with it .. Even if the price is hiked, there is no guarantee the quality of education will improve. We must kill corruption in this country |

Weselion: Do you know when Germany started existing as a country?
Do you know Germany's GDP?
Upon education is free, do you know how many Germans go to college?
You are looking at the surface? You do not know how they got there or what they put in place to get there.
Do you know how much school fee is in South Africa or Ghana? So Germany started with very corrupt officials who ruled and looted with impunity and never cared about developing their country ? This same state governor shouting no money will leave office tomorrow and efcc will be chasing him for looting billions of state funds. Let them first block all the leakages before bringing hardship upon people. At least consider the plight of the people.. how many high paying jobs are in that state? |

einsteine: They have an extremely high tax rate. That's how.
How much direct taxes have you paid in the last three years? So you think naija govt don't tax workers? we still high tax and get little or nothing in return.. People in the US pay tax too, why is their schools not free like Germany and some other EU countries ? |
Education › Re: Ondo State University Students To Pay N2.245m As Tuition Fees by tmtech: 11:04am On Nov 09, 2021 |
einsteine: That's not the university's problem. In the US, Ole Miss and Harvard won't charge the same amount. They also won't admit the same kind of students. The socialist mentality that education should be made free or low cost cannot work in a country with hundreds of millions of people. You want to be treated by a doctor who barely saw a stethoscope during training? Because that's what would happen if the university keeps charging pittance and admitting a lot of students. So how does Germany with a population of over 83million offer free tution in many schools since 2014? |

perambulator: One of the reason there are no jobs waiting for you is because of the fees you paid to go to University. Those who paid forex to study abroad come back and get good paying jobs. So it's up to you. You get what you pay for. Be deceiving your self there. Most Nigerians that relocate abroad use this same local certificate to get jobs overs there. mind your if you study abroad , you will still struggle in the Nigerian job market , unless you are connected or your course is not very common in Nigeria and highly sought after. |

PeaceJoyLove: To be candid, $5,000 tuition (an equivalent of the amount) is not too much for medicine. Let us be honest with ourselves. We need to face reality that naira is bad. We cannot get quality with low tuition. And we cannot continue having bad doctors cos students must go to affordable schools. Let us see the real situation as it is, be honest with it, and find solutions instead of just shouting unnecessarily. Fines they will reduce it and rhen what? Produce bad doctors. And people will start dying when these badly trained doctors start practising.
If we do not see these things that they have been destroyed, we cannot move forward. $5,000 is not bad for tuition in a medical school, but we cannot afford it because naira is bad. This is the reality. Is there any student loan? Are parents/civil servants paid enough to afford this. There are schools in Europe with free tution for EU citizens. How do they do that? With all the recent increase in fed school fees to high acceptance fee, what has changed? Dont be surprised if these guys pay that tution fee and the quality / welfare of students worsens |
Education › Re: Ondo State University Students To Pay N2.245m As Tuition Fees by tmtech: 10:45am On Nov 09, 2021 |
einsteine: Anyone who can't afford it should drop out. Education is a choice. If a Ghanaian university quotes 12,000 USD as tuition for foreign students, do people protest? No, you find a new school that matches your budget. Many of these medical students want to pay peanuts to get a medical degree then vamoose to UK or Saudi Arabia to earn same salaries with doctors from other countries who paid hundreds of thousands of dollars as school fees. Such arbitrage must stop. Education is a choice ? Weldone |
